I booked a long weekend here for my brother in laws birthday to celebrate his big 40 and everything was outstanding! The suite we stayed in was superb and minus a couple of touch ups is the perfect home away from home for a few nights and it has everything you need to make it a relaxing vacation. The accommodation comprised two bedrooms, a single and a double with big bathroom consisting of roll top bath and double shower as well as mini kitchen, lounge and terrace area. The bonus for us was the back access so we could walk right out onto the nearby beach and not have to come back through main entrance-very handy! The staff here are absolutely fantastic and extremely friendly and attentive and the breakfast and drinks were excellent. We loved the Bar Area inside and out for a relaxing beverage in the day and evening and the atmosphere was great. The decor defo gives off luxury vibes and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all for a fabulous stay we didn’t want to leave! We love Cornwall our home away from home….

The walls could do with paint touch ups it’s looking a little tired as is some furniture. The glass at breakfast had lipstick on it.

We recently stayed near Bude Beach, and overall, it was a great experience. The room had a lovely ambiance, with a neat and tidy feel thanks to the minimalist interior and clean white walls, which gave it a fresh and modern look. Breakfast was enjoyable. I had the smoked salmon, which was nice, but I felt it could have been improved with some hollandaise sauce, as it was a bit dry. Dinner at the restaurant, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing—no complaints there! The staff were wonderful—very welcoming, friendly, and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. As for the location, it was perfect for us. Being close to the beach was exactly what we wanted, and the proximity to town made it even more convenient. In summary, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it, but perhaps a little adjustment to the breakfast offering (like adding hollandaise sauce) would make it even better!

Wobderful Breakfast was served early, I chose 07.00 as was travelling for work. I was upgraded to a larger room on arrival. The room was beautifully appointed with great quality tea, coffee, hot chocolate and corniche biscuits. Fresh milk and water every day in the fridge too. The bathroom was large with a roomy walk in shower and a huge modern bath. Spotlessly clean. I've eaten in the evening at this hotel many times because the quality and presentation of the food is great and the venue is always thriving which tells you how good it is.

There's nothing to dislike about this hotel.

The Beach is in the most perfect location with stunning views of Summerleaze beach. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and this was across the board, no matter who was on duty. Our room was gorgeous, overlooking the beach, it was modern and bright and very clean. The bathroom was huge and again spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant attached to the hotel which is called Elements, it has a really funky vibe and a fab terraced area which looks out to sea, we were lucky enough to be able to sit outside when we arrived in some lovely Autumn sun. We ate here both nights and the food was fab, staff here are also lovely and really friendly. Breakfast was served here too and was so good. We will definitely return to the beach and would highly recommend. One review said parking was tricky, when we arrived we were able to park straight outside and parking is free. I imagine in peak season it would be more difficult due to the volume of visitors to the beach but there is lots of parking around and a huge public car park a few meters from the hotel.

On arrival reception told us they had upgraded us from a classic double to a deluxe room on the ground floor (no extra charge) which was stunning with our own patio overlooking the beach. The room was very clean and spacious with a large ensuite with bath and double shower. The staff were friendly and so attentive nothing was too much trouble The breakfast had plenty of choice and service was excellent Close proximity to town and beach The hotel is clean and has lovely decor throughout Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Bude.

Very limited parking at the hotel, nearby parking at sainsburys or at the beach car park for a charge The main front door would benefit from a door closer as it banged shut each time anyone came in and out, we stayed in the room by reception so this could be heard.

Breakfast was good but maybe More bacon The bedroom lighting was relaxing but there was nowhere where it was bright enough to read. The room phone wasn’t working &it took a while to find the telephone socket for it. We were trying to book dinner on Friday & in the end had to go downstairs where it was rather difficult to find a staff member.

The location was exceptional, awesome views. Our room was also brilliant big, lights, had its own terrace. Everything you could want. A little loud from a party but everything else was so good I couldn’t worry about it. I noticed the hotel had good disabled access, as I’m always on the look out on behalf of my Aunt, I thought I’d mention it. Also our dog was welcome, you have to book the ‘dog room’ so to speak and is does cost a bit more. The staff we friendly and so very helpful. Breakfast was quality and delicious.

Amazing location, we had a very large private balcony with amazing views of the sea, we caught a breathtaking sunset and sunrise. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. It was very convenient being able to access room service from the restaurant, we enjoyed cocktails on the balcony whilst watching the sun set. I was worried with visiting during peak season it would be extremely noisy but actually it was very peaceful

The bed was very, very soft - exactly how my husband prefers it, however I struggle with a bad back so prefer a firm mattress. It was a win for him but not for me

We stayed at the beach as a family of 4 for 2 nights. I have two autistic children and the hotel were very accommodating from the start. All staff are so friendly, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. We stayed in the suite which was ideal for us, modern bathroom and very comfortable beds! TVs in every room & we even had Netflix which was a treat. Nothing was a problem, we could take food to our room and as mentioned my children have special needs which can be difficult when travelling but we felt very accommodated and comfortable. We would definitely return :)

We had a little hiccup with housekeeping, beds not made and bins not taken - this let it down as it was almost perfect.

Clean, modern, great food and a very well stocked bar. Staff are lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Choice of breakfast was brilliant. We were blessed with lovely weather so eating and drinking at the outside area was very pleasant with views of the beach. We used the hotel as a base for our sightseeing. Bude itself isn’t very flattering, a couple of nice restaurants and sandy beach other than that it’s looking a little rundown.

Not the hotel’s fault but parking close to the hotel can be a nightmare, there are four spaces at the rear but if you have an estate car you will overhang into the narrow street, but Council run car parks are free from 16.00 to 09.00 7 days a week.
