The Falcon is a fantastic hotel, in a perfect location. Me and Dad had a lovely Sunday roast there and it was reasonably priced. We stayed four nights, I was comfortable in my room (14) dad had (16) saying it was a bit noisy. There is a few communal places around the hotel to relax in. The staff was always happy and welling to help and nice as well. Breakfast is very good with a wide range of choices and the breakfast room itself is lovely which is a dinning later on. Overall totally value for money and we are returning.

Only thing i could think of is they need a password for the WiFi.

Our room was very comfortable, the bed and bedding was also very comfortable. The room was very spacious, with very good facilities. The breakfast provided was perfect with a good choice of cooked food and a buffet of fruit, breads, yogurt, pastries and juice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It is recommended not to drink the tap water from the bathroom, a couple of bottles of water are provided but a larger supply would be better considering. We did have a family meal booked during our stay with guests, there was a delay and we waited for a 45min for the main course but this could have been communicated more efficiently to us at the time. The food was perfect and there was no shortage of it.

Lovely spacious room, comfortable beds and good linens. Good view from our room overlooking the front. Very good breakfast, both cooked and continental. The staff in the hotel are excellent. We had to have room service on two nights as my mother was not able to go downstairs to the restaurant, and the service for this was excellent and very helpful. Equally the staff at reception and in the restaurant are excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Parking is a little bit of an issue, and at times difficult to find a space. But you can usually get one after a little while. But at least there is some where to park.

There was plenty of choice for cooked breakfast as well as continental. We had dinner of three occasions in the hotel and each time the food was lovely. Our room faced the front overlooking the canal. The room was a decent size and clean. And most of all the staff were all very helpful & friendly.

My husband and i loved our stay at The Falcon and would definitely stay again as the location is so good. The only very small niggle was in our room there were no coat hooks which we needed as on one day we got caught in the rain and had very wet coats and had no where to hang them to dry out. Ended up hanging them on the bedroom door hinge!

The staff were excellent. Smart and attentive. The breakfast was excellent with a good range of cereals, fresh fruit, compotes, seeds, yoghurts etc and a great selection of other items for continental breakfast eg savoury and sweet muffins, pastries,. The cooked breakfasts were delicious and again a good range of choices, freshly cooked. Delicious bread and a variety of jams, honey etc. Comfortable and spacious dining area with views over to the canal. The bathroom was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Luxurious towels. Fresh bottled water every day was appreciated. Good range of storage for personal belongings. The room was fairly small but sufficient for our stay. Very comfortable bed and cotton bedlinen. The bar is spacious and comfortable and bar food was available. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Very tasty, beautifully presented and hot! Get there early if you want your first choice for the fresh fish, but there were several options for fish as well as other things and interesting vegetarian options. Fairly easy to park though there was a charity do there the day we arrived and we seemed to get the last space in the car park! Very handy for electric car charging in neighbouring car park. We loved the updated, tasteful way this historic hotel with its wonky floors had been modernised. Great spaces to sit and read including a large garden and conservatory as well as a "library" snug.

The only improvement I'd like would be the option of a feather pillow as I find these hard pillows uncomfortable.

The room was exceptionally clean, and we had a great view of the garden. The location was perfect. Beautiful walks along the river leading to the beach. The breakfast was really nice, and staff were very polite. They explained how things worked and we were very well looked after.The setting for both dinning room and bar were beautiful. We had a bar meal, which was lovely. Again staff were lovely. The garden was beautiful. Staff on reception were very welcoming.

Although there was a lot of choice of coffee/ tea etc in the room. There didn’t seem to any decaf choices.

Lovely hotel in a great location overlooking the canal in Bude. Ample parking was available across the road from the entrance, but we managed to park out front. Warm Welcome. Nice staff in restaurant and bar, and comfortable, spotlessly clean room. What's not to like. The dinner and breakfast we very good. We would certainly return.

Rather strange person in Falcon Hotel T-Shirt was rather loud in the lobby when we arrived! Couldn't make out who he was, but a bit off-putting. He was gone when we came down for a drink later!

We stayed at the falcon hotel because it was our wedding night, we had also booked a table there for dinner. The whole experience was amazing, the food was lovely, staff very friendly and always asked if everything was OK. It was very clean, comfortable, welcoming, a beautiful building with parts of the history in the hotel which was lovely to learn about. We could not fault anything on our stay here, it was all perfect. You can see that all the staff work very hard to keep this beautiful hotel thriving. We was even gifted a beautiful bouquet of flowers as it was our wedding day. The location of the hotel is perfect being a small walk from the beach is amazing. We will definitely be back to revisit.

Absolutely nothing it was all perfect

The Hotel was very welcoming as were the staff. I did not realise how big it actually was until i walked around on my last evening. Beautifully furnished with plenty of choice on the menus for both restaurants. Breakfast was very well presented and full of flavour. My go to breakfast was Salmon on a base of fluffy scrambled egg. Very well done.

I had more of a problem with the room. I was in room 16. Situated at the rear of the hotel i paid £706.50. I felt this was very over priced. The room looks out onto walls and the emergency fire exit stairs, but is also situated above the hotel kitchen/s where staff take their breaks outside, so it was at times noisy with no privacy, the room was very warm so the window was open at all times i was there. This should have been detailed at the time of booking, if i had known this i probably would not have booked at the hotel. I therefore would feel that this room should be at a much lower rate, even in July.

Both my wife and myself were very impressed the facilities in particular the choice with your breakfast. I was very pleased with the quality of food both at breakfast and evening meals the choice was wide and good.

We liked the way that the staff looked after us they were very helpful and considerate they made us feel welcome, there was nothing to much trouble for them. We liked the accommodation and the facilities that were available to us, I would not hesitate to recommend to my family and friends what a lovely Hotel the Falcon is we will be visiting again.
