Lovely clean, spacious accommodation

The pool shut to early, I asked the leisure people and they told me 6pm as did it say on the door. I went for a hot tub in the morning and it wasn’t working so came back for 5pm for one and it was shut

Great 2 bedroom house with loads of space

Accomodation exceeded our expectations. Two bathrooms, dishwasher, washing machine etc all included which we didn't realise would be included. Staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly, quick to respond when we messaged them.

Found the security deposit a little stressful - but it was refunded promptly with no issues.

Our club suite was very comfortable and well-equipped. Exceeded my expectations as I wasn't sure what to expect based on the website's description. Split level accommodation with bedroom leading down to bathroom and kitchenette area. No cooker but toaster, kettle and microwave. Great to have a fridge as well. Spacious bathroom with walk-in shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet room. Easy to park. An excellent base to explore north Devon. Would definitely recommend and go back as is excellent value for money.

It was a shame their restaurant and main bar weren't open but there was a bar in the leisure centre and food trucks each evening. I only used the swimming pool once - it was Sunday morning and very busy as I suppose is to be expected. Lovely bathroom but shower pressure was quite weak.

The location was great. Peacocks everywhere and house was big enough to accommodate 6 people.

Staff need to be polite. Also, towels were not sufficient, and we were asked to clean towels in washing machines before using them. Strange... who goes on holidays and asked by resort to clean towels 😂

We stayed at the Watford Bridge Country Club and had a wonderful experience. Check-in was very quick, and the staff at reception were incredibly friendly and explained everything in detail. We were offered a two-bedroom house, which was clean and had all the necessary amenities. We loved the peacocks roaming around the property; they were delightful and didn't bother us at all, and our child especially enjoyed seeing them. All the facilities were top-notch. Whenever we needed to book something, the responses were prompt and efficient. Overall, we had a five-star experience and will happily recommend this place to our friends. We also look forward to returning for another stay!

Cozy location surrounded by nature, peace and quiet. Waking up to the sound of peacocks and the gentle murmur of a stream outside the window was truly relaxing. There’s a spa and a pool on-site, which added extra comfort. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for a quick dinner, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly, discreet, and helpful without being intrusive.

The bedding for the third person who was supposed to sleep on the sofa wasn’t prepared — we had to find everything ourselves and make the bed, including putting the duvet into the cover. It’s not a major issue, but after a long journey, you just want to relax, not start making beds. There were also some minor cleanliness issues.

The size of our flat was great, kichen was well equipped, the staff was very nice. Also the location and setting is very pretty. We had a new years meal in the restaurant which we really enjoyed.

The flat was not clean, with spider webs, hair in the bathroom and we had a infestation of fruit flys in the living room. I was told this was not the first time they had this issue in that flat (owl). The lights were full with dead flys too. I complained and the send the cleaner very quick but they did not clean properly, used a spray with the flys and when we went back to the flat we had dead flys every where.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment complex in the countryside. The setting is incredibly peaceful and quiet—perfect for relaxation. The apartment itself was very spacious, well-equipped, and included two bathrooms, which was a big plus. One standout feature is the designated parking space, which made everything very convenient. We also enjoyed the free swimming pool—just needed to book in advance, which was easy to do. What truly made the place special were the many peacocks roaming the grounds. They added a unique charm to the whole experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway with great facilities!

We stayed at Woodpecker cottage, close to the leisure centre with heated pool, sauna and steam room (was out of order), and upstairs bar. Th house was spacious, open plan kitchen and living room with outside area with table for our Sunday Easter lunch. Bedrooms also spacious and beds super comfortable! All amenities included and complimentary tea and coffee for the 1st day. We were in awe with all the wild peacocks around, a lovely pond/lake with ducks, a playground for the kids. Shout out to Michele at reception for her outstanding customer service and support :)

Wish we could stayed longer!
