Foremost, the unique location on the sands is romantic and truly delightful. The staff are really friendly and turn a wonderful location into a wonderful experience. Thank you!

We like the slightly ‘rough around the edges’ feel of the place. The one downside was the bed in room 6 which bowed in the middle when two people were in it - not sure whether that was down to weak slats underneath or the mattress, but it could do with investigating and replacement.

A Hidden Gem by the Sea – Truly Unforgettable! We had an amazing stay in this beautiful and peaceful place. The views are absolutely stunning — the kind you’ll remember forever. Just a short walk to the sea, which makes it perfect for beach lovers. The area is quiet and ideal for total relaxation — you can really recharge 100% here. The people, both locals and visitors, were so friendly and welcoming. It gave the whole trip such a warm, community feel. Bude is a charming small town, and the surroundings are just breathtaking. A special shoutout to The Beach House Restaurant — top-notch dining with a chef who clearly loves what he does. Every meal was delicious and full of flavour. Honestly, he deserves a pay rise! There’s another local restaurant nearby, too, but I’d highly recommend The Beach House for a standout experience. We’re already planning to come back and try surfing next time. Everything you need is here — scenery, relaxation, good food, and adventure!

I'm a tall person, and for 4 days I've been head-butting just about everything in this room – ceilings, door frames, light fixtures. Definitely not ideal if you're over 6 feet. The pictures on the website didn’t quite match the reality. The room looked a lot more spacious and modern online than it does in person. On the plus side, the mattress was comfortable, but the bed itself was super squeaky with every movement. The building has a vintage charm, which some people might appreciate, though it's definitely older throughout. Despite these issues, I’d still recommend the place – just with a few caveats, especially for taller guests.

We have stayed here before and returned because we loved the vibe, the friendliness of the staff and the relaxed, informal feel. The location right on the beach is second to none. We were greeted warmly on arrival and went to our room, which was dog friendly. The room was small with a very large balcony. Double bed, which was soft but comfortable. There were the usual tea and coffee making facilities and the option to order more of everything using a daily check sheet. Breakfast was lovely and staff were happy to cater for my dietary needs (gluten free) even providing a special toaster that is not used for normal bread. We had dinner at the hotel and it was great - good quality, tasty food at a reasonable price. We also had drinks at the bar each night - the bar staff were super friendly and we were able to be in a quiet area with our dog. The bar and restaurant are nicely decorated and the sounds are good too!

The room being small meant there was not much room for the dog to sleep and I stepped on him frequently in the night on my way to the loo! There is very little storage - a couple of shelves and a clothes hanging rail tucked into a corner - and there is nowhere to put empty suitcases; we put them back in our car in the end. The weather was good which meant we could use the large balcony, but the balcony furniture is a bit dilapidated - the rattan sofa in danger of falling apart! The room windows are "blown", and in need of renovation. In fact the whole room and balcony area could do with some tlc.

Loved the location, we are local to the area and frequent the beach a lot. My husband surf there nearly daily so I found this place to stay on the beach. It has a very cute boho fell to it and is very chilled. We had a view of the sea and was lovely going to sleep hearing the ocean. Even though it rained, it was still such a lovely place to stay. Lovely staff and the rooms had a really nice homely feel, will def be staying there again. We booked into the restaurant and the food was incredible, really tasty and reasonably priced and the portions were really big! We were so stuffed but wanted pudding so they out it in a box and we ate it on the beach a bit later. Breakfast was absolutely yummy and great that they use local produce. Especially loved the sausages. Over all we absolutely loved the place!

What a view, amazing sunset, on the beach with its own access. Twin room was clean and basic, two sleeping areas with sliding door which was handy to spectate off if wanted private sleeping spaces. Plenty of tea and coffee and staff were very helpful and polite. Nice breakfast had to re choose as some items not available

Room needs a little freshen, staining on curtains, carpet out of runner, paint peeling in places and not all windows opened and it was a hot day. Little things but didn’t affect the stay and room was very clean.

We both loved the area having not stayed this far North in Cornwall before. Beautiful beach, fantastic staff and lots to do. We spent every day out from breakfast until late evening. Would happily go back in the hopes to chase better weather.

We had a comical moment whereby after a burst pipe ruptured in the building, a ceiling tile fell on my noggin during dinner. The staff were incredibly good about it and everyone clearly felt awful. Unfortunately these things happen but my heart goes out to some of the staff that were clearly mortified. Literally thought nothing of it and went back to our lovely stay. More than happy to return and I hope to do so someday.

Direct access to beach, car parking, breakfast, and restaurant made this a much better choice than bude town. Toast and cereals to self serve with to order for hot cooked items table service. Great. Liked the sea food restaurant attached which we booked table in advance with sea view. Lobster on the menu £25 half. Had a great meal with wine and cocktails watching sunset. Friendly welcoming host on arrival Loft room had a double with 2 singles so good family arrangement with plenty room if also using a travel cot Towels in rooms Hairdryer provided Fan in room which was a bonus Sea view

I have no real dislikes as would stay again. Maybe bigger window to take in views or a juilette balcony as we had a loft room. Stairs hardgoing with luggage. So would take two smaller cases next time instead one large. Shower in loft room basic with a shower curtain and not a door.

What a find this place was. The vibe was fabulous, the staff were so homely, lovely people, and the food!!! Oh my goodness, the evening meal was outstanding, apart from fantastic Stein ‘The Seafood Restaurant’ in Padstow this was a close second. Exquisite food and absolutely must eat here. The breakfast was also delicious and excellent. Please don’t drive past as you will love it here.

Sadly abit shabby on the outside, needs a lick of paint, please go inside, it’s totally worth it.,

The location was great. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The room was small and quite basic although the small patio with views of the beach and sea helped. Had the weather been warmer I'm sure we'd have used the patio more. Breakfast was included and the lady taking the orders was nice and friendly.

The room for the 2 nights we stayed was fine, but it lacked the room for storage for a longer stay. The included breakfast took ages to arrive after ordering, one guest ordered toast and even this took 20+ minutes. The cooked breakfast was OK, but nothing special the bacon was dry and overcooked..

This B&B is a perfect location, it's a actually on the beach. Having a balcony to be able to sit on and view the sea was marvellous. The room we had was very well decorated and you felt relaxed in it. It was exactly what we wanted and was on the route of the SWCP which we are doing. At breakfast there was a good selection of items and the cooked choice tasted great! We ate dinner here for the three nights that we stayed and the food is exceptional. It really is a great value place.

Sometimes the service could be slow, but that just gives you more time to enjoy the sea view, which can be seen from the restaurant. The shower in our room was ok, but a power shower would have been better.
