Lovely hotel, very friendly serving staff in restaurant. Very nice room with added benefit of kitchen with cooking facilities. Very comfy bed and excellent shower. Quiet, spacious and clean.

The car parking states it is £24 for 24 hours, but in reality, it expires when you check out. We wanted to spend an extra 2 hours in Csmbridge after check out, but were told we would have to pay extra for the car park. In the end they gave us a free extension for 2 hours but we had enormous difficulty exiting the car park as our ticket did not work.

The hotel is overpriced, especially since it is a four-star hotel. and hotel was okay and could be classified as 4 stars as it is, especially in Europe, but The staff are friendly and the facilities are good especially the laundry room in the basement, which is an advantage and saves you paying extra money.. They extended the stay for us for an additional hour when we left d ue to our university commitments, we kept our bags at the reception until our departure time in the evening.

It is a little far from the colleges of Cambridge University and you have to walk for about 20 to 30 minutes or take public transportation, and of course this will cost you a lot. Breakfast is expensive, but it is not very diverse. The sauna room and some facilities were under maintenance

breakfast was amazing,biggest buffet and widest choice of even other hilton.decor and appearance was immaculate,and truly tyhe hotel inside gives you a very strong feel of discreet luxury.Very polite staff,extremely well designed showers(rare even in expensive hotels ) and it gave you the impression that no expense was spared in building,decorating and running it.

Only one aspect.The sauna was closed for maintenance,but nowhere in the booking it mentioned it.That is deceiving (booking.com,that is also your problem because it is the 3rd time i book through you only to arrive at a hotel with amenities "closed for maintenance" but no prior notification.Also the pool is very small,with a limit of capacity (10 people) so we ended up not using all those facilities.And you book a hotel of that price range for that also.

We received a free upgrade which was very generous, the hotel staff were also very accommodating for a custom request I had made via messaging prior to our arrival. The suite we stayed in was modern, clean, and just an enjoyable place to be. The bed was comfortable. Noise levels were low, and the kitchen was fully kitted with anything we could possibly need. We ordered the 24hr room service and the food was great. We didn't have time to try the pool / gym / the breakfast or restaurant but if these are the same quality as the rest of the stay I'm sure they are also fantastic. Location was a 20 minute walk from the centre which was ideal. Would definitely recommend, and if we plan to come back this place will definitely be at the top of the list

My only real negative was that I felt the price of the car park was a little high (£24 a day) for hotel guests. And the towels / dressing robes supplied weren't the softest but those only really had a minor impact on our lovely stay.

Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, although it was buffet style the trays were quickly replenished whenever they were close to empty. Room and bed was comfortable. We tried the small pool which was relaxing and the gym looked clean and well equipped. We both borrowed their bikes (free for 4 hours) for a cycle around Cambridge (I was brought up here so visited some old haunts). It's a 15 minute walk across parkland and back streets into the centre of town. Try the nearby Hungarian restaurant and also the Polish restaurant for great comfort food and friendly service.

The sauna was closed for repair. Check in time is 4pm, which was a little inconvenient for us but we left our baggage in their secure store.

Extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel - amazing selection of continental including smoked salmon, several kinds of cheese and cold meat plus salad. Lovely selection of fruit and pastries. Smoothie as well as fruit juice. Perfectly clean. Lovely bathroom. Good spa.

I didn't realise that the VAT wasn't included in the price shown on Booking.com. So the cost on arrival was more than expected. Breakfast was fantastic apart from cold scrambled egg. 24 hours parking is £24, which is a lot on top of hotel cost but all parking in Cambridge is understandably expensive.

I was greeted by a very friendly, helpful receptionist. We arrived at around 11am and I was told that our room will be ready soon if we wanted to bring our stuff even if check-in time is at 3pm. But we decided to just visit the city first and have lunch. The receptionist even tried contacting me by phone and email that the room is ready. Even the room service, the breakfast staff - perfect 10 for everyone! We love our room, the Newton Junior suite. Perfect configuration (with a mini kitchenette) for my little family of 3. Room is spacious, clean and the beds are comfy - that's very important.

The EV charger doesn't work. Access to the wellness/pool was like a maze, but this is just minor. Lap pool and sauna is okay.

The Hotel has a good location if you’re willing to put your walking shoes on and head over the bridge and down the steps to the riverside walk into the centre of Cambridge.The hotel is stylish and clean with a warm welcome from Dolly the Restaurant manager at breakfast. We stayed in a duplex apartment that accommodated 3 of us and allowed for extra space with our teenage son. The shower was great and the sofa bed downstairs comfortable. There’s a Cooperative store down the road and also a nice Chinese takeaway. Good pubs in walking distance.

When u arrive they ask for your debit card & charge it to £150 as a running tab & deposit. The parking is £24 a night so this mounted up as we stayed 3 nights. All air conditioning which was a trifle noisy. I turned it off upstairs as loud. All windows are sealed so can’t open them. The kitchenette was very useful, make sure u bring a dishcloth & washing up liquid. A small dishwasher is provided with a dishwashing pod they restock . No changing rooms for pool but can use the 2 toilets if needed.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Firstly the hotel was easy to find. The car park is underneath the hotel with easy access by lift or stairs to reception on the ground floor. Check in was very straightforward and the staff member was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early so our rooms were not ready, but we were given lots of information about the parking charges, dinner options, breakfast times and gym/pool access etc. We were also given a map with details of how to get to Cambridge centre and some of the best places to visit. The hotel is in a great location just a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the centre of Cambridge where you can shop til you drop or visit the many museums and famous university colleges. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely with room to relax and have a quiet drink, or have a game of pool, gym or swim if you fancy something a bit more energetic. The restaurant is very nice, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Our room was also great. Equipped with a kitchen consisting of fridge, hob, microwave, sink unit and dishwasher if you fancy a self catering option. The room was very comfortable with first class fixtures and fittings in the large bathroom, plenty of storage space and a very comfortable bed. I could not fault this hotel and all the staff were very friendly and professional, a pleasure to deal with.

A small communication breakdown regarding our dinner option on the first night but it was resolved with minimal fuss.

Overall a relaxing and very comfortable break to Cambridge, in a beautiful hotel just a medium walk into the city centre and all the amenities via the river walk. Only criticism we would have was given the new build nature of the hotel, the drawer front fell off on our first entry to our room and we waited almost 10 minutes to be served at the bar in a quiet Saturday afternoon. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others especially the underground car park (but not included free!), the furnishings at the hotel and delicious breakfasts in a enchanting breakfast room.
