Lovely hotel, very friendly serving staff in restaurant. Very nice room with added benefit of kitchen with cooking facilities. Very comfy bed and excellent shower. Quiet, spacious and clean.

The car parking states it is £24 for 24 hours, but in reality, it expires when you check out. We wanted to spend an extra 2 hours in Csmbridge after check out, but were told we would have to pay extra for the car park. In the end they gave us a free extension for 2 hours but we had enormous difficulty exiting the car park as our ticket did not work.

Extremely helpful and cheerful staff. Breakfast was the best I've ever had in a hotel - amazing selection of continental including smoked salmon, several kinds of cheese and cold meat plus salad. Lovely selection of fruit and pastries. Smoothie as well as fruit juice. Perfectly clean. Lovely bathroom. Good spa.

I didn't realise that the VAT wasn't included in the price shown on Booking.com. So the cost on arrival was more than expected. Breakfast was fantastic apart from cold scrambled egg. 24 hours parking is £24, which is a lot on top of hotel cost but all parking in Cambridge is understandably expensive.

The Hotel has a good location if you’re willing to put your walking shoes on and head over the bridge and down the steps to the riverside walk into the centre of Cambridge.The hotel is stylish and clean with a warm welcome from Dolly the Restaurant manager at breakfast. We stayed in a duplex apartment that accommodated 3 of us and allowed for extra space with our teenage son. The shower was great and the sofa bed downstairs comfortable. There’s a Cooperative store down the road and also a nice Chinese takeaway. Good pubs in walking distance.

When u arrive they ask for your debit card & charge it to £150 as a running tab & deposit. The parking is £24 a night so this mounted up as we stayed 3 nights. All air conditioning which was a trifle noisy. I turned it off upstairs as loud. All windows are sealed so can’t open them. The kitchenette was very useful, make sure u bring a dishcloth & washing up liquid. A small dishwasher is provided with a dishwashing pod they restock . No changing rooms for pool but can use the 2 toilets if needed.

Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Firstly the hotel was easy to find. The car park is underneath the hotel with easy access by lift or stairs to reception on the ground floor. Check in was very straightforward and the staff member was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early so our rooms were not ready, but we were given lots of information about the parking charges, dinner options, breakfast times and gym/pool access etc. We were also given a map with details of how to get to Cambridge centre and some of the best places to visit. The hotel is in a great location just a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the centre of Cambridge where you can shop til you drop or visit the many museums and famous university colleges. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely with room to relax and have a quiet drink, or have a game of pool, gym or swim if you fancy something a bit more energetic. The restaurant is very nice, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Our room was also great. Equipped with a kitchen consisting of fridge, hob, microwave, sink unit and dishwasher if you fancy a self catering option. The room was very comfortable with first class fixtures and fittings in the large bathroom, plenty of storage space and a very comfortable bed. I could not fault this hotel and all the staff were very friendly and professional, a pleasure to deal with.

A small communication breakdown regarding our dinner option on the first night but it was resolved with minimal fuss.

Overall a relaxing and very comfortable break to Cambridge, in a beautiful hotel just a medium walk into the city centre and all the amenities via the river walk. Only criticism we would have was given the new build nature of the hotel, the drawer front fell off on our first entry to our room and we waited almost 10 minutes to be served at the bar in a quiet Saturday afternoon. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others especially the underground car park (but not included free!), the furnishings at the hotel and delicious breakfasts in a enchanting breakfast room.

It was a very comfortable hotel to stay in, and was only a 10 min walk from the Town Centre. Room was excellent and clean. Managed to also use the Pool, Sauna & Steam Room but pick your timings as all are small and if busy will not be pleasant. Couldn’t really fault anything. Tip - if you park at the Hotel, you get 24hours from when you go into the Car Park. If you ask Reception nicely, they’ll give you an extra 2 hours parking for free above the 24hrs

Only criticism was that we ate in The Folio restaurant which was understaffed and we had 2 courses over 2 hours! Food was good though

The pool was great and our room was very comfortable. We used and enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and also breakfast. We enjoyed the non-alcoholic drinks options and also the downstairs pool table. The shower in our room was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable - great mattress, large, and lots of good pillows. The staff were very professional and generous, perfect.

The air conditioning was malfunctioning in our room and becoming way too warm in the middle of the night. We really needed it to be working to keep the room cool especially because we had a little baby with us. This was never fixed despite raising this issue at the start of our stay. A kind handyman did try to take the edge off it not working by changing the filter but this didn’t work.

The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely. The cafe was also really nice - lovely coffee. The room was spacious, had everything we needed and was clean and comfy. Lovely dinner room service, the food was amazing.

The room wasn't ready until 4.30pm when we went to check in 30 mins earlier than their check in time at 3.30 we had a slight wait, they said they would call us when it was ready - we were only waiting in reception but didn't get a call so in the end went and asked again to check by then it was ready, it wasn't a problem just think they should be ready for the stated time of 4pm.

The room was very spacious and extremely clean. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. While we didn't use the facilities outside of the room, the location just north of the city centre was a perfect distance for u to walk in for dinner and explore the city itself in the evening

Simple things, so nothing serious or anything that affected our trip. But the coffee pods provided had no label or menu so you wouldn't know what you were making if you wanted one. We weren't expecting a view, but if you are it will be of the houses directly opposite.

The whole suite was comfortable, clean, tidy, and had everything we needed in it. The bed was large and very comfortable, exactly like our bed at home (we rarely find a bed to match ours!) The staff were very helpful. Car parking was secure. Everywhere within the hotel was clean and tidy.

Better signage when you drive in to a) park and b) the reception - after a long journey we were a little confused.
