great location, a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre and Cathedral. There is a public car park directly opposite, where you can leave your car at discounted rates as hotel guest. The rooms were spacious enough, the bathroom small but equipped with everything needed. As is typical for England, the windows weren’t completely airtight, and there was a slight draft, but we managed to create some insulation using the bedspread. The breakfast was excellent, and the pub/restaurant where the rooms are located is also recommended in the evening, offering very good, classic English cuisine.

We loved the location, friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities and comfy beds and linens. The food was delicious. We had an amazing dinner and breakfast, and the pub had a great atmosphere.

We had a great view looking out onto the canal and a nice breeze that filled the room; however, I think we would have slept better if we had a room on the backside of the inn. Our room was noisy as we could hear doors opening and closing below us, and the windows rattled with the wind. Fans are also needed in the rooms as there is no air conditioning.

The location was great, I loved being so near the weir. Parking was easy-just across the road. The building is very old and full of character while the room was comfortable and well appointed

There were a lot of stairs-it's an ancient building but unfortunately I had damaged my knee! We were offered a room on the first floor as soon as the member of staff saw the crutches. My partner loved the full English breakfast but I would have liked some fruit and croissants

The Millers Arms is such a great find in Canterbury. As a woman staying solo for a work trip I really valued how warm a welcome I received from staff. The service at all meals was so quick and the quality excellent - to get a breakfast of this high standard included included in the room rate is a steal! This was my second visit and my experience was consistently good. I stayed in a twin the first time which had a lovely view of the weir and a bath, and the second time because I stayed Inna quiet night I was upgraded to the best room which has lots of lovely features - a huge bed, roll-top bath and robes. Thank you to the team at The Millers Arms, I will be back!

The only negative I can think of is that the carpets on the stairs up to the rooms are worn, and made me nervous for what to expect in the room, but I needn't have worried. The pub is clearly committed to reinvesting in its upkeep because it's currently undergoing a refresh of the exterior paintwork so the carpet is no doubt part of the schedule of intended works.

The location is perfect. Set beside the river and gardens and yet still only a few minutes stroll to the very centre of the city. Our room was light and airy with a lovely river view (watching the swans glide past in the morning was a delight) and spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Parking was also very easy (just across the street).

Could not fault this place.

As 2 Muslim females and a getaway that was booked last minute I really didn’t know what to expect! I was exceptionally impressed with the welcome we received and the way we were treated. The staff especially Jenny were extremely nice and accommodating. My daughter ordered breakfast and it was prepared with a lot of thought for our diet which made us both very happy. The beds and pillows were so very comfortable the bed linen was crispy clean I had the best sleep Iv ever had away from home. Paul was so very nice it was a pleasure to have met such lovely people. We will be returning for a longer stay 😊A highly recommended place to stay.

The location was minutes from the both the station and the high street; the bed was large and very comfortable; the bathroom was spacious and clean.

There seemed to be a little too much furniture in the room? Or maybe I'm thinking of a different hotel. I remember a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, both rather large, which took up a lot of space. The windows looking right down on the pavement also made stepping out of the shower an interesting experience.

We’ve stayed here often and are always delighted with the service and surroundings. We had the biggest room which was lovely. Beautiful breakfast, all round fabulous stay, would recommend.

Nothing, although there was a male member of staff who we saw on two occasions who wasn’t as friendly and helpful as all the other staff, perhaps he was having a bad week. Didn’t spoil our stay though

A real gem. Would thoroughly recommend. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing, central location. 5 minute walk to the Cathedral and into the town, with a big selection or bars and restaurants. Parking was literally across the road and plenty of spaces The Millers Arms was fabulous and much better that the photos. Room was well equipped and there was a lot of choice for breakfast.

The room configuration in the twin was a little awkward and small. The location justifies the price but the room itself didn't. Maybe swap the twin to a larger room and make that one a double so there is a bit more space to move around. We still had a lovely stay and would go back just not in that particular room.
