We adored our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of the village. The location was perfect, close to bars and restaurants, as well as the nearby shopping centre. It provided the perfect location, with a relaxed ambience, for warm catch-ups with friends and relations. Right from our check-in, we were treated like VIPs from all the wonderful staff. There is clearly a great teamwork philosophy here. Spotlessly clean throughout with great attention to every detail. The guest umbrella - a necessity in the West of Scotland - was well utilised. Also ... every morsel we ate was delicious - even haggis haters will fall in love with the haggis loaded fries. The made to order breakfast started every day perfectly, enhanced by the exceptional staff. We were happy that the recommendation from friends exceeded our expectations.

Although the mini fridge wasn't as cold as others, the bar staff generously offered us a regular ice bucket to assist in this minor detail. Problem efficiently solved.

Girl on reception was lovely gave us a very warm welcome and answered any questions we had regarding things to do in the area she was overall very good at her job , however the female membervof staff ib the dining area in the morning at breakfast wasn't quite as welcoming and not as pleasantvas the girls on reception on oir arrival or later on at night, there was no smile on entering the restrauntand the only communication was to take pur breakdast order maybe she was having an off day as most of us do but woul definetly recommend to family and friends after our overall experience especially the girlscon receptionn

Very well appointed hotel. Lovely room and super friendly staff. Also had EV charging in the parking area which is great. There had been a leak in my room the night before from the previous guest who had an accident in the shower. The front desk told me about it when I arrived and offered me a free dinner. The room was actually fine. They were worried it might smell a bit damp but they’d done a great job drying the carpets and airing it out. Love it when people are upfront about a potential problem. Amazing service!

Very clean, beautiful room, so close to the village

Breakfast was ok, my wife had eggs bennedict which she enjoyed, i had fried egg bacon and sourdough toast, the toast and baxon was really over done and there was no butter for the toast. Also a room service tray with dirty plates and cutlery sat on the floor outside the next room along from us from when we checked in till we checked out the next day. The car park should have been gritted as well as it was so icy, it wasnt safe to walk on, and it was inconvenient that it is a cashless business, i feel you should be given the option to pay cash if you wish, this is also helpful for tipping the staff

The decor and design .the friendly staff and great food.My friend and I were meeting up for a couple of days together and needed to be in East Kilbride for an appointment.The torrence met our needs perfectly.

We both banged our shins on the wooden bed frames several times. The shower basin was too shallow and would overflow if shower was left to run so I didn't have a shower after my friend experienced that.couldnt turn down the radiator during the night as the thermostat not working and it got too warm had to disturb my friend to open window

Hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Love the stone walls and hotel reception is lovely. There’s a beautiful conservatory at the front which I wish we had the pleasure of sitting in but the main restaurant and bar lounge were just as nice. Room was nice, bathroom was gorgeous.

The bed was very uncomfortable in my opinion. It’s surrounded by a wooden frame which one of my party had smacked her knee off of. The pillows were as hard as concrete however I understand that’s down to preference. The Mini bar was full of different drinks and there was a basket of mixed snacks but as per picture, the prices were absolutely diabolical. No way should a packet of malteasers be nearly £4.00!

Ambience & staff were excellent . The decor was tasteful & beds very comfortable. Rooms were very clean, modern & well equipped. Electric car charge point on site but unfortunately I couldn’t get it to work (you need your own cable for it) perhaps it was due to the weather though which was horrendous (torrential rain).

The food for dinner wasn’t great but perhaps we just picked the wrong things . Breakfast was good.

Very Good Hotel Restaurant just 2 things really the Bed sides shouldn't be There and if im being Honest was Comfortable but not that Brilliant and as for the Staging in front of the Bed think this is a silly idea got up to go to the Toilet and Hit my Foot on it getting back to the Bed very silly idea in my opinion and the Heat kept going on and off during the Night one minute room was Cold next for an Hr or so Warm should be on all the time at lowish setting once it went off you couldn't get it back on suppose it was on a timer and only other thing 1 chair for 2 people ... Staff were Fantastic Food and Drink Fantastic just a little over priced for the Room just being Honest but all in all Good should aim for Fantastic lol

Staff FANTASTIC ... Food Really Good .. Room Ok bit over priced in my opinion That wood Staging in front of the Bed Very Silly idea could result in a Claim if someone was to really hurt themselves in kicking it by mistake very painful it was on my Toe...

The staff were all pleasant, professional and welcoming. The hotel conservatory is very bright and well presented. The inside seating is large, comfortable and we very much enjoyed watching the golf on Sky Tv from the cubicles with the table side tv’s. Breakfast was large and enjoyable but would suggest removing the luke warm Tea and Coffee flasks, and just present freshly made hot drinks.

The reception staff were not always present at the reception desk, which usually meant hanging around waiting for them to appear. I would suggest having a bell or a motion sensor to alert staff guest are awaiting in the reception area. The bed (Room 15) does not need a wooden frame overhanging the mattress. This only takes up room around the bed, and eliminates banging your legs getting in and out of the bed.

Beautiful inside and out and staff were all lovely, will definitely use again.

On our particular stay, we didn't take a cooked breakfast which is made to order and looked great on the menu but we opted for a continental buffet which was nice and fresh but very limited and no continental meats which was on the menu and i didnt see bread/toast available but still nice and did the job.
