The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were lovely. The food was delicious. Great location for what I needed, and close to Rutherglen High Street if you want to venture out for food or drink and close by to transport to the city centre. The hotel is a bit dated in somw areas, and I believe they're carrying out some work to the rooms soon, but I've paid an awful lot more money for much worse hotels than this. Great value for money and very comfortable with comfy beds, quiet and warm rooms and a good nights sleep.

The rooms need a lick of paint, and the bathroom has obviously had a plumber do some work, and they've had to patch the tiling (thats plumbers for you🤭).

My four-night stay at King’s Park Hotel in Rutherglen was a remarkable experience. Beyond Glasgow's captivating allure and picturesque vistas, the hotel stood out with its unique charm and the exceptional service provided by the staff. Their thoughtful gestures made my 50th birthday trip, which I had shared with the hotel, even more memorable. Upon my arrival, the surprise room upgrade, the fruit platter, and the heartfelt card were all testament to their commitment to making every guest feel special. The hotel's clean and spacious room provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. Its convenient location, just a short drive from the town, made it easy for me to explore the city at my own pace. The room was big and comfortable, with a full bathroom, bathtub, and everything. I am deeply grateful to Patricia, the receptionist, for her exceptional service. Her proactive and courteous responses to my queries and invaluable assistance in planning my trip made a difference in my stay. Another big shoutout to Gary and Caroline, who left the platter in my room and made the card, but not only that, I made sure I had a clean, safe space and made sure I had the most fantastic breakfast and dinner every day. Their attention and kindness will not be forgotten. I will be staying at this hotel again in the future.

Some parts of the building are being refurbished, but this caused no issue, and it is good to see the improvements being made. They take safety very seriously and ensure that these refurbishments never affect the guests' experience. They have an events room, which means sometimes a late-night function with music may occur. However, they finish by 12:30 a.m. punctually, and guests receive forewarning; these events are only held on weekend nights to avoid any disturbances.

We know this hotel and the area the staff are always so friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of food, dinner or lunch etc. Its a lovely place to meet up with family and friends. I always say a big thank you to the staff!

Well it would be good if there was a lift in the hotel, but again theres always someone helps with the luggage. I know the hotel is being upgraded and already so much has been done I suppose the rooms will be done at some point too. But you know they are clean and comfortable and warm in the winter. Fresh linen and towels etc.

Beautiful building, spacious room, good outside disabled access, breakfast both cooked and continental was amazing! Shout out to Irish reception guy surname mcgarvey who was warm and welcoming and very accommodating, to the housekeeper who helped me downstairs with my suitcase big thank you,also Garry the breakfast host who was very bright cheery and friendly loved his ghost story this would be my reason for returning if I could manage the stairs inside

Few things let me down I am disabled and was by myself and had to take suitcase upstairs 😥 my parents had another room and they both disabled too so no lift or ramp access inside is very disappointing, rooms are quite worn out wee bit tlc especially carpets and leather headboard needs good upholstering, kettle took forever to boil! And TV wasn't that great

Breakfast was really good but best of all was Gary he made our stay he is so funny very friendly but food was lovely very good will come back again.Receiptionist was very friendly too & very helpful went out of her way to do what she could for you

We didn’t like the service in the evening was very disappointed we went at 5.30pm got our table got drinks had our order taken 2 of our meals was cold so we got them taken away when they came back the waitress lifted our plates that was finished witch I don’t like, she should have waited till everyone was finished then that was the last we saw of her,never came back to ask if we wanted more drinks or sweets spoke to the guy in charge of the restaurant & he was interested.Its a shame that this let your Hotel down as everything was brill.

Breakfast was fantastic Gary is brilliant he made our stay also served us lunch he was fab but we were very disappointed of the service we got on the Fri night we went for a meal at 5.30 we got our meals 2 of them was cold had to be put back then we were waiting for they other members to finish there meal & the waitress came & lifted our plate when the other ones wasn't even finished then we sat till 7.45 nobody even can to take the rest of the plates away never got asked if we wanted sweets or more drinks so we got up & walked out then one of the waitress came & as us if we were coming back k to pay the bill spoke the the manager of Restaurant & he never even helped was disgusted how he dealt with it would never have a evening meal there again Breakfast & lunch with G arry was 100%

Evening meal the way we was treated was shocking Evening staff needs to take some training from Gary how to treat there customers he is fab 👌

room was fine, double bed and 2 singles..plenty of space. bathroom massive shower a bit dodgy had to have hot water fully on and cold a tiny bit on and it kept going hot n cold when under it which was not great but we coped. room was so so hot but hotel gave us a fan so that was sorted, window in very small. could do with a light above mirror at dressing table or lamp that can be moved so light can be on mirror to see doing make up etc. tv needs dish/signal looked at as tv was very pixelated, hotel gave us new tv but it is not the tv at all just the signal food is brilliant, breakfast/lunch and dinner all fantastic service is excellent from reception desk/cleaners/bar staff and waiting staff all so helpful and friendly...especially Gary in the restaurant...he is brilliant, nothing is too much bother to him...great cappuccinos Gary.

lighting in room at mirror area or lamp to be able to move around and point at mirror. tv signal we were told off by security on the friday evening for having glasses outside in seating area, we did say we were residents and not part of the party and would be only having the one and bring them in but he wasnt happy at all, can see where he was coming from tho but we already had them outside and it was early on.

Politeness of staff was very nice. The bathroom/shower room was large, no squeezing into the shower. The bed was comfortable and rooms were clean. The room was excellent for value. The breakfast in the morning was excellent, we took the full breakfast option and at 2 for £15 we were well fed, coffee'd up and looked after.

Just a couple of niggles. The TV was not horizontally fixed on the wall. There was evidence the rooms were being upgraded as there was just a few wear and tear issues, chipped sockets, visible old holes in walls. However we were told that the hotel is under new management and it was evidence that work was being done to bring it back to life.

Staff were great and friendly, Value for money can't be argued with. Entrance and Restaurant look very nice. Bar downstairs was handy and friendly.

A few things in room needing repaired and finished. loose carpet,faulty socket, repair in bathroom that ruins look of an otherwise really nice bathroom. Mattress was past its best. None of these were major problems as I had a pleasant stay. Its just some places need touched up, including bar.

The rooms are well sized and comfortable. You must eat in the 2Five0 Restaurant - the food is great and good value for money, particularly the pre-theatre menu. I'd eat there without a stay if I lived nearby. Decent parking, and only ten minutes from the motorway. Buses nearby, a short walk to the rail station. Although it is close to main road, the noise is not intrusive and the rooms are well insulated.

We've stayed here a few times, and there always seems to be one minor maintenance issue in each room, but nothing which was a real problem. This time, the heated towel rail barely warmed up. We haven't had to ask to change rooms or even to ask for immediate maintenance. The beds in the rooms we have been in are nearing (but not at) the end of their useful life.
