Brilliant location , very clean

The big sofa really needs replacing as the middle section has seen better days and you definitely get a sinking feeling when you sit on it , didn’t like the fact that the thermostat for heating was covered with a locked box , for over £200 per night I think I have the right to decide if I need the bedroom warmer and as reception isn’t manned at night there was no way of sorting this out the first night when it was chilly

Very very clean. Bright rooms and very comfortable beds. Quiet building. Would recommend this. Would book again

Toaster didn't work properly and no shower door in main bathroom on bath.

The location was perfect.

Group of 4 females and only one small ensuite shower room. We opened a locked door, only to find an unusable, filthy family bathroom! We were not even advised prior to arrival that the bathroom would not be available, so we were really disappointed. Also, there are no mirrors in 2nd bedroom and only a small one in the other bedroom. After repeated calls and emails to Spires Apartments to make a complaint, no one contacted me back! Quick enough to take £250 deposit but not willing to discuss our complaint.

Very comfortable stay at the Spires Apartments. Great location. I wasn't disturbed by noise though. Lovely spacious apartment for a great price. Reception is manned during office hours and mornings at the weekend, and they were very helpful when I had any queries

I had to do some work on my laptop while I was there and there was no desk/table. The kitchen island would have been okay to work at if the chairs weren't so high. There was nowhere to plug my phone in next to the bed and no plug for a hairdryer near a mirror. There was no where with good lighting and a mirror for doing makeup. The bathroom had a good mirror but the lighting was dim.

Well appointed apartment in the very centre of Glasgow. The receptionist was friendly and promptly checked me in. The bathrooms were nice and the kitchen very well equipped. The bedrooms face an internal courtyard, so it is quiet despite being close to many bars. The apartment is very large and comfortable.

The hotel is right next to a homeless shelter and soup kitchen on 67 Glassford St (Homeless Project Scotland), with unfortunately some anti-social behaviour arising in the evenings by the entrance area. The reception hours are very limited (10am-3pm) which makes it challenging to check-in in person or get help outside these hours. The beds were a bit springy.

Fantastic location in the centre of Glasgow. The reception was very helpful and quickly addressed our request for an extra bed. Facilities were good with everything needed to cook a meal easily. The washing machine and iron meant we were able to wash our clothes. The beds were comfortable. The showers were good.

The chairs is the lounge could do with renewing as they were soft and sank which made them uncomfortable to sit in for any period of time. It would be good to have some instructions for the equipment as we found the washing machine, cooktop, microwave and oven difficult to use.

I was absolutely impressed with the accommodation. I wish I had more time to enjoy the place but I was out to see Glasgow

I didn't like the fact there was no personal contact at the premises. If people knew this beforehand they would perhaps be reluctant to book. I did get a follow up call after booking via Booking.com which I appreciated. However, you are left to go through the procedure on your own. It is well explained, I must say. However, the entrance door (after the keypad) really needs to be changed; it is not an easy access door. It is unpredictable. It does not necessarily open with ease and this can cause anxiety for some. No one can come back to me and say this is for security; there might be an electric fault there - it's temperamental.

Good clear instructions for how to enter the property and collect the keys. Apartment was spacious and exactly what I was looking for from my stay in Glasgow. Location is excellent, supermarkets nearby and also close to Queen St station, Left my phone charger behind and the reception have been great in getting that posted to me.

Only minor gripe is that it would have been nice to have some basic kitchen amenities such as kitchen roll and tin foil in the apartment. For a 3 night stay, these aren't things I wanted to buy but would have been nice to have for cooking purposes.

I must have received an upgrade as I was in the penthouse, which was a large apartment with everything I could possibly need. Check in was easy, and the property manager Nikki provided a very early check in which was wonderful. The apartment was very clean and warm, the bed was comfortable, and there was a bathroom and an ensuite. The building looks more like a private residence than a hotel, which is to be expected. The location is great (as per other reviews there are some homeless people around at certain times but this is no problem). With fun bars nearby, expect to hear some social activity (but this is what comes with a central location).

We had the penthouse suite 3 bedrooms (king, queen, 2 singles)with ensuite showers and 4th bath with a tub. Very neat and clean and modern. Kitchen appliances cutleries supplied and welcome coffee and tea. 5 min walk to store for food and drink supplies and we were all set for our week stay. Onsite office on 1st floor avail Mon-Fri for assistance if needed.

Patio door didn’t close completely. Put on maintenance schedule. Fridge door squealed when opening. One Lift did jam one day but repaired in timely manner. Stairs available.
