The apartment at Nelson Mandela Place is perfectly situated to explore Glasgow on foot. For those who need access to public transport the metro station is a 2 minute walk away. Situated right off Buchanan Street, a lovely pedestrian street in central Glasgow, the Nelson Mandela Place apartment is quiet, clean, contemporary and located in a historic building! There are many excellent restaurants close by although the full kitchen in the apartment makes preparing meals on site a pleasure. A lovely place to call home while in beautiful Glasgow. Communication with the owner was easy and immediate. Anna the young woman who prepares the apartments for the guests' arrival is professional, respectful and courteous. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

We had a great stay at Nelson Mandela Place Apartments — perfect for our two-day trip to Glasgow. The location was ideal: very central and convenient for everything we wanted to see and do. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. There was a slight smell when we first arrived, which we traced back to the washing machine, but it wasn’t a big issue. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean, and all the appliances (microwave, fridge, iron, hairdryer, etc.) worked perfectly, everything you’d need for a short city stay. It was also excellent value for money. Compared to a mid-range hotel, I’d pick this place every time. A special mention to the friendly staff member who helped us store our luggage both before check-in and well after check-out. It made a huge difference and allowed us to enjoy the city without dragging luggage around. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and affordable stay in Glasgow
There are just a few small points that could be improved, though none of them were major issues during our short stay. The room was a bit warm, and without air conditioning or the ability to open the windows, it could potentially be uncomfortable during hotter weather or longer stays. That said, there was a small electric fan provided, which made a big difference and kept things manageable for our one-night visit. We also noticed a slight smell coming from the washing machine. We didn’t need to use it, but it might benefit from a routine cleaning cycle now and then to keep it fresh for guests who do. Lastly, the TV in the room was quite small, a minor thing, but something that could be easily updated over time to enhance the overall experience.

The apartments were in an excellent location, very, very central to everything. We were surrounded by shops, pubs, eateries, bus station and all within walking distance. We used the apartment as a base for attending the TRNSMT festival. The apartment itself was fantastic and had everything needed. Lovely and clean, modern and very secure. We stayed an extra night and this was easily booked online and communication with the apartment owners was prompt and efficient with regards to new security codes etc. Towels soft n fluffy, bed very comfy and room was spacious, light, airy and adorned with beautiful big windows. Extras available if required like fan/heater/safe. Very happy with our first time stay in Glasgow.
Outside noise at night but expected it from reading other reviews. Apartment itself was so quiet and private which was nice.

The location was amazing for anyone using the the Queens St Glasgow Station - 5 mins walk max. Also the access code used digits from the phone number which made entry to both levels very easy to remember. Despite the relative “busy”ness of the road we found it to be super quiet and slept very well. We also felt quite safe as there were plenty of people around.
Signposting the actual apartment with the name of the apartments not the company name would be more intuitive. We walked around the square twice before we looked more into the detail of who managed the apartments

The location of the property was very convenient traveling in and out of Glasgow -- a 2 minute walk to the train station or bus pickup stands. Also right next to the subway. The door codes were efficient and easy to use. The unit had more amenities than expected; I was so grateful to complete a load of laundry with the in-unit machine and provided detergent!
Though the location was convenient, the weekend nights are pretty noisy in Glasgow so we heard some ruckus out on the street in the wee hours of the night and were thankful we had earplugs. Pillows were a bit flat.

Fabulous location. 3 minutes to queen street station, 2 minutes to the subway, 5 minutes to central station. Comfortable bed we slept really well. The blinds cut out the light really well. Apartment was nice and quiet all the time and was lovely and warm. Everything advertised was in the apartment. Shower hot, pressure ok.
Poor first impression. Opening the door to the building you are faced with old tired stairs and a sticky handrail. It is 82 steps from pavement to apartment and that’s a lot with luggage, no lift. 5 nights booked, 2 adults and in the apartment there were 1 and two thirds rolls of cheap small toilet paper. Really? I’ve paid $1500 for this and you are trying to save about $3 on toilet paper. Obviously the first thing I want to do on arriving is go out and buy toilet paper. I thought that was cheap. We wanted to eat in first night. We first had to clean the pan that had burnt on food inside from a previous visitor. We thought that pans should have been cleaned before we arrived.

The location was excellent. The train station was a block away. Literally around the corner shops and restaurants. It was clean, safe. Perfect spot for our Uber to pick us up for the airport. It may not look like much but when you open the door you are pleasantly surprised by beautiful windows, and simple and tasteful decor. The restaurant “The Wild Olive Tree” across the street has wonderful soups and a great mission so I’d check them out.
No elevator can be challenging but they placed us on the first floor(not to be confused with ground level). That wouldn’t stop me from staying again. I’d just advise letting them know if you need the first floor.

The location was fantastic. Set between two main stations for good travel links, lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants within easy walking distance as well as some major attractions and shopping areas. The apartment itself was very clean and had great facilities, including a washing machine and dishwasher. The staff were really helpful. We had an incident with a faulty sliding door and it was fixed immediately, very on the ball. Having the door code system was great meaning we didn't have to worry about losing the keys or locking ourselves out. It can happen! Altogether, a great place to stay for exploring Glasgow and the Edinburgh Festival.
Only the sliding bathroom door.

It was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Centrally located, and staff was responsive. The apartment was very well appointed, with everything we needed.
80 steps up to our apartment, no elevator! So you must have no mobility issues to access your lovely apartment. Also there was an issue with my credit card which was resolved as soon as I was notified, but notifications kept coming that our trip would be cancelled. This was worrisome. The on line staff were very helpful in assuring me that the reservation was still ok.

The location in the heart of Glasgow, 100 metres from a Subway station and a train station. The property was well insulated and sound proofed as there was a lot of traffic outside our window but we seldom heard the noise. Quality inclusions in the kitchen area, numerous PowerPoints in the whole unit, some fitted with usb outlets.
There are stairs which did not really worry us but if someone had trouble lifting heavy luggage it would be a challenge.
