Ideal location a ten minute walk up a hill. Near bus station and breakfast was very good, it was a Buffet. A wide choice mainly cold items. But nicely presented. Choice of juices and hot drinks. Dining room was light clean and had plenty of room. We only had to wait one morning when it was very busy. Staff were quick in clearing and cleaning tables and very pleasant to talk to.

Disappoint there was no kettle but I did notice that before I booked. Drinks machine downstairs. I have no complaints. Staff were always very helpful when we asked them anything. I would definitely stay again

The hotel was just a few blocks away from both the train station and the concert venue we were going to. Very pleasant desk staff who checked us in with efficiency. They even offered us an umbrella when we had to go out in the rain. The room was extremely good value, especially for a single night stay. The bed and pillow were the most comfortable I have had in a long time. It was a windowless room and the lack of natural light gave us both the best night's sleep. We slept until 0930, thinking it was only about 7am! 😄 We didn't use the breakfast room, but it looked very welcoming.

The socket beside the bed didn't work, but my mam's CPAP machine had a long enough cable to reach a socket on the opposite wall, thankfully. The USB socket I used to charge my phone was "slow charge".

The room was pretty basic but still to a good standard and it was clean. We had a room with a window so can't comment a windowless room. Plenty of space and little bits of storage but no drawers or units. The breakfast was really nice with a selection of fruit, cereals, pastries and yoghurts. Great location for getting about the city and for transport links.

What could have improved the room would have been: an extra pillow each, there was only one pillow per person and a hand towel as there were only two bath towels supplied.

We were staying here to attend a theatre show. The room was fine and the bed very comfy. The staff here are really lovely, friendly and helpful. The check in process was straightforward. We did not have breakfast here, so cannot comment on this.We had a nice stay.

The first thing I'm going to say, is not the fault of the hotel. We found it rather noisy with people stomping about and shouting across at people. It might be nice if some guests staying had a wee bit consideration for others, especially arriving back late at night. The second thing, fans in the room are quite noisy. I tried switching it off altogether at the wall panel, but it didn't work. Perhaps the hotel could see if the fans in rooms could be quieter. Having said this the hotel is fine for a night or two and we would stay here again.

Perfect location for our trip. Room compact, but all we needed for 1 nights stay. Very good price and value for money. The room was clean, fresh towels. We had a room with no windows, which was perfect for a dark room if you wanted to lay in late. Staff were friendly. Free wifi was good. I would say we could have been told about the facilities, there was a coffee machine in the foyer but not sure if we could use it, or buy a drink. We had very loud neighbour's screaming, singing, shouting, banging the floor, running around. Hardly slept. At 4am I messaged reception, and they found the room in question and sorted it quickly. Can't blame the hotel for ignorant guests. Tv did not hold Channel reception and kept cutting out. Overall, I am more than happy with value for money, and I would happily stay again if the price was right.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was very nice. They said they can hold our bags for us for free whilst we looked around Glasgow, menaing we didn't have to drag them around with us.

An unfortune malfunction meant that the breakfast wasn't exactly how it should be normally, but it was still good. The rooms do no have a kettle, or any tea or coffee making facilities, meaning you had to BUY them, which we did not like at all; surely a kettle is one of the most basic things a hotel room could have.

We always use Point A when staying in Glasgow as it is a short walk from the bus station and only 2 streets away from a good Wetherspoons for cheap meals and drinks. It is also in a great location for Sauchiehall Street, Buchanan Street and the railway stations. Staff are VERY helpful and they have a good luggage room to leave your luggage in on the day of departure. There is everything you need in the room, including good lighting and plenty of sockets

No hand towels provided, but the bath towels are big. Room was on the 1st floor with a window so a bit noisy in the night with people passing

The room size was just right. I was travelling alone and the room had a double bed and accommodated the bed well enough despite being a small room. The bathroom was also perfect size as small rooms have small bathrooms and I normally end up kneeing the wall, and I’m not even a tall guy either. The shower was really good as well as it had easy to use controls which gave an option for consenting if you’re into green credentials in your hotels. The bed was also very comfortable and the duvet was the right amount of thickness for me as I’m a naturally warm person so I prefer to have a thinner tog duvet whereas most hotels have a massive duvet which is a nightmare to sleep in for me. The room was also well ventilated with an astounding piece of aircon which regulated the room really well given there were no windows. The check in process was also really easy as well; I arrived to the hotel a couple of hours before check in and the hotel staff made it so that I could check in earlier instead of waiting around for two hours and the process itself was really easy.

There wasn’t much that I didn’t like really; I felt the pillows they used were not very comfortable as one pillow didn’t seem enough and two seemed to crane my neck. Also not having a window felt like if you stayed there too long you’d get cabin fever (I know this is likely just due to the building location etc but still).

Tiny room - but modern facilities so there was space to keep luggage - great location center of city small details well described within the room to make best use of the small room air conditioning and mood lighting friendly staff ensured we get free coffee in the morning though we had not booked for the same

not much to complain since the description while booking the room was pretty much what we got we could have got better space for luggage and possibly an window room

The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with a good shower. Good value for money, there was very little noise outside even though it's in a busy spot. A really handy location for the station just a few minutes walk away and there are a good selection of places to eat nearby. Would definitely use again when in Glasgow.

The only thing that could improve is if there were tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Everything else was great we had a lovely few days.
