We travel to Glasgow 3/4 times a year and I normally drive aand stay at the Burnside hotel beccause of the ease of parking. This time we travelled by train so booked into your hotel. Fabulous is the only word we can use to describe your hotel the renovatuions and upgrades have enhanched the hotel even further The room had everything we needed and the decor was beautiful The staff were so helpfull and a big thhank you to Mark your concierge who was especially helpfull. We only had breakfast on the Saturday and it was excellent and good value. The hotel is Central to everywhere you want to go and transport links are on your doorstep.

Very friendly staff and always accommodating. Very well organised and helped to create a positive atmosphere. Food excellent and well presented.

Going back to London. Not able to stay longer.

Friendly courteous staff. Location is ideal in the centre of the city and located next to a carpark with reduced rates for hotel guests. Room was comfortable and bathroom clean and tidy.

When we arrived the only 2 available lifts were out of service. Luckily a porter was available to take our luggage up to the 3rd floor. I booked and paid in advance of our stay via booking.com unfortunately when my card was swiped at the hotel to pay for any incidental charges the full cost of the stay was charged. I wasn't expecting any charges as had no incidental costs and was surprised to see the VOVO charge of the full cost of our stay when checking my bank account following check out. I returned to the hotel and reception arranged for a refund of the full charge but I had to wait for 4 days for the money to be credited back to my bank account.

The staff were all friendly and professional but Ruby was absolutely exceptional; I'd forgotten that hospitatility could be that good, to be honest. The teddy bear with the dressing gown which she gave my daughter is now sitting pride of place in her bed at home and the hand written note telling her to enjoy the biscuits is tucked safely in to it. Unashamedly a frequent user of Radisson Blu, I've warmed considerably to the Central and it would probably be my first choice now.

I'm never going to be a fan of the somewhat complicated route to the breakfast area and tend not to have breakfast there.

This hotel is literally connected to the main train station in Glasgow. It's also a short walk to the Queen St. Station. It is very central to downtown Glasgow and easy walk to everything including shops, restaurants, famous and historical sights. Full breakfast is great. Hotel staff is excellent and very nice and friendly. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed. We booked this for two nights before the two nights that started our tour and were very happy with our stay. Americans: Use the hairdryer provided by the hotel. Even with a converter our American hairdryers can short out and die. Or check to see if you have a 240 button on your hairdryer.

Everything was perfect....no complaints at all.

With regard to the bathroom in our room (339) the plugs in both bath and sink didn't house properly in their respective plug holes, so having a bath instead of a shower wasn't an option. While this wasn't really an issue for either of us, it might prove so for other guests. Having a shave, however, was a bit more annoying as turning the tap on and off in order to save water, just to rinse my blade got a bit repetitive. Just little things, I know, but it's often the little things that make a difference to a good day and a great one.

The location of the Voco Grand Central is perfect. We travelled by car and parked in the NCP car park as recommended. Just a short walk through Grand Central railway station and we arrived at the hotel. The architecture was amazing and the hotel has been finished to a high standard. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and breakfast was buffet style but with plenty of choice. Parking in the recommended car park was heavily discounted through the hotel. Just a short walk away was Glasgow centre with shops, restaurants and bars. Despite it's location and size, the hotel was quiet. I would definitely recommend.

The room was clean and quiet. bed very comfortable. The food ( evening meal ) superb, truly delicious. The price was very reasonable for such a quality meal, The waiting service was rather slow but the staff appeared light in numbers, so really were doing their best. The only real issue is not of the hotel's making, which was my wife was hassled by an aggressive beggar close to the hotel. I was not accompanying her at the time, as I was recuperating from double eye surgery and in considerable discomfort. we did not purchase breakfast.

More restaurant staff to serve the fabulous food. See above comments regarding the aggressive and intimidating beggar.

Location could not be better - right in the train station concourse and an ideal base to explore the city. The hotel is beautiful, immaculately clean, and very well maintained. Our room was lovely with a very comfy bed. The bath and shower were fabulous (used both), and I loved the supplied toiletries that smelled amazing. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fabulous. Great choice of food, and they never ran out - refreshing the buffet right up until they stopped serving. Champagne Central is a must for a cocktail with a view of the concourse - a great place to people watch! After checking out, we were able to leave our bags with the concierge until we did a bit of shopping. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely be back. We had an issue at breakfast on our first morning, relating to a breakfast item (that the hotel buys in from an outside supplier). This was dealt with VERY quickly. Both the Chef and Manager apologised to us personally, even though the issue was outwith the control of the hotel and no fault of theirs. They were only concerned with our welfare and that was very much appreciated - thank you!

Went with my wife to watch James blunt so travelled to Glasgow by train location of hotel was excellent wonderful staff very welcoming and informative hotel room was spacious comfy bed large bathroom with a great shower breakfast was great with a good selection that will cater for everyone's dietary needs staff were very polite and welcoming with a warm good morning and on leaving wishing you a pleasant day

Only one chair,sink took a while to drain television on one night caused a problem with the people in the adjacent room even though it was on low volume they proceeded to bang on the wall to which we turned it down even more so it was barely audible and they proceeded to knock on the wall again and then two minutes later they were at the door banging furiously to which I opened the door but they had run off which I thought was very brave of them lol and then five minutes later a young man from reception arrived to say he had a report of loud noise from our room he was very apologetic and could see and hear there was no problem and wished us a good night and left.So just be aware of the television on the wall and it's volume and just to say this was half past ten at night so not late
