Great location near both central and queen station train station. Sir John Moore - Whetherspoons was cheap and had great food, conveniently located next door.

Strange layout in the rooms - no table/desk or counter spaces. No kettle and no tea/coffee. The only outlet for the room was located by the entrance - the opposite side from the washroom so the blow dryer wasn’t very useful. As well the only place you could open the ironing board - the plug for the iron wouldn’t reach. The room has no privacy so you had to change in the shower stall - fine if you’re alone or a couple but staying with my two adult daughters wasn’t the best. Also the shower is opaque so when someone is showering you can see their full silhouette - again fine for a couple but weird for a family.

The location was perfect for us, as we needed to be close to Glasgow Central train station & Yotel is basically across the street. We wouldn't normally choose a modern hotel, as we love the old, traditional style, but this was a pleasant surprise. The staff at check-in were great & it was really quick & easy to grab our key cards & get to our room. The room had cool features, like a bed that slides up into a "couch", LED lighting with color-change options behind the TV & all the room & hotel info on the TV menu. The bathroom had a separate shower & toilet within the bath area & the bathroom mirror had adjustable lighting. The windows had 2 sets of blinds that either allowed filtered light for privacy, darkening, or open-to-the-public ;) Breakfast was on an upper floor, so there were pretty good views of the city. It was buffet-style & had all the usual Scottish breakfast staples. This was adjacent to their bowling alley, which we didn't get to enjoy, but was pretty cool. All in all, a great stay.

The room was pretty dark, despite the cool lighting. I think one of the overhead bulbs was burned out, but I don't know that it would've added much more light as it was right by the door. The shower stall has no way to hang a towel, so when you get out, you have to cross the floor to the closet where the hooks are, so that was weird. Also- no kettle or coffee maker in the room, which is a bummer if you want a cuppa outside of breakfast hours.

Great location next to Central Station, clean rooms with hairdryer, iron, fridge, safe, Samsung TV's, ample charge points and really comfortable beds. Loved the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms. Friendly helpful staff throughout. Dinner in Vega restaurant on the top floor was delicious and very good value. 2 small gripes - no kettle/tea/coffee making facilities in the room (which I'd prefer to an iron tbh!) and they'd run out of mushrooms by 8.30 at breakfast

There was some kind of pole attached to the blinds but I couldn't figure out how it worked and so it took ages twiddling this pole to close and open the blinds.

Clean and comfortable, very pleasant staff and perfect for my early departure from Central Station. I think I got lucky with my room as it was huge and so was the bathroom, I think I was given an accessible room. Great rainfall shower, nice toiletries in dispensers, gorgeous big towels, nice bed linens and I liked the electric bed. I had 7 huge wall to ceiling windows which gave a great dual aspect view, but it was hard work winding down all the blinds.

I have got to say it and hope that Yotel will listen to the majority of other reviewers as well as me, the lack of kettle is a deal breaker. I needed to get a drink and an early night, no way would I go several floors up to visit a bar to get one, i don't need an ironing board or fancy moving bed, I do need a cuppa in my room so sadly won't be booking again.

Loved the entire feel of this hotel! The rooms are small but perfectly laid out thought about the positioning of everything, it felt really comfortable, i loved where the power sockets were, that you can cast to the TV from your phone to watch your own Netflix etc. Wifi was great, and the bar on the top floor was great. Make sure you go up to 7th floor in the disco lift from ground level, it was really fun. Breakfast was really good and the staff were brilliant

The shower was a rainfall one but had no real "power" when trying to wash long hair (just a personal thing) - the handheld shower wasn't high enough to use so you had to hold it, the bed also was a bit hard for my liking, but i slept fine. Minor gripes. 100% would stay again.

Stayed here for Hyrox. It was about 1.2 mile from the arena with a lovely simple walk to the venue along the Clyde. Staff at the hotel were very friendly. Hotel room was clean and tidy. The hotel has a small gym which was clean and very handy and although we could not check in until 15:00 there was a baggage drop to save carrying our luggage around. Good central location with plenty of restaurants and shops and only a couple of minute stroll to the River Clyde.

The toilets in the room were not exactly to private with just a frosted pane of glass to separate 😂 but as long as you know who you are staying with well it was clean, tidy and served a purpose. The lifts took a bit of getting used to, sometimes they worked, sometimes you had to scan your room key and they would work and occasionally you would have to change lifts as it kept coming up with “call locked” or something similar and the lifts took would not work. This was no big issue though.

nice property, kinda modern style (too stylish to my taste honestly haha) rooms are comfortable enough but kinda small I mean I booked for couple but from all my experiences traveling I can tell that was more a solo room so if you are traveling with a partner I recommend you to upgrade

Lights automatically turn off which it’s kinda annoying because you have to keep them totally off during the night or any movement detector will turn them on, restaurant doesn’t offer much variety but there are plenty restaurants nearby!

Location was perfect literally opposite the station. The room was big and clean and the bed was very comfy. For what I paid for the room, it exceeded my expectations. The staff were amazing - I had left medication at home and had to have it sent to the hotel and every single one of them kept an eye out for it for me. The room had a fridge which was great but no kettle but that wasn't the end of the world. I would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.

A kettle would have been nice to make tea in the morning but that wasn't the end of the world.

Wonderful location, next to Glasgow Central in the heart of the city. The room was ultra modern and very comfortable; reclining bed, ironing board and iron, hairdryer, fridge, safety box, Urban Jungle body wash, shampoo and conditioner in large dispensers. Very clean. We stayed for five nights and would definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar/ breakfast room on the top floor was very comfortable and even had a four lane bowling alley. We were able to leave our luggage with reception on the day of departure at no extra cost as our train was late afternoon. Excellent!

So, why not ten out of ten? No tea/coffee making facilities in the room! Thank goodness there's a Wetherspoon's just next door.

We were 4 hours earlier than check-in and wanted to drop off our luggage (agreed upon arrival). They had a room ready, so they let us check in without extra charges. We've got an disabled room (with extra space, shower seat, handrails, and even emergency cords). We didn't need it, but we were already so happy with the early check-in and obviously not going to complain about an extra spacious room. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, no noise from the busy street or other guests. Had a very good sleep here! I also loved that you could make the room completely dark with the blinds. Location convenient for us, very close to public transport. The hotel has a restaurant on the top floor, you get a 10% discount as a guest.

The top floor restaurant VEGA looks absolutely beautiful, but very loud music. We found ourselves screaming at each other and having difficulties with ordering. Food was also not that great. It think it's a perfect location for party's or drinks.
