Staff wass amazing. They maintain room nice and clean. Additionally they do clean and tidy the room every day. Most importantly It is very close to all amenities.Kelvinbrige Subway is just 100 meter away and can reach city Centre in just 10 minutes.

Wonderful location very close to a vibrant neighbourhood of cafes, restaurants, shops and buses, also within walking distance to a subway station and Kelvingrove Park and Art Gallery, which is superb! Very clean, tidy, seemingly newly painted large room and a bathroom with a good, modern shower. Lots of hot water and automatic, extended ventilation fan.

It is a bare bones guest house with rooms only, no lounge or breakfast area. But given the neighbouhood and access to food sellers and cafes, this is not a disadvantage. Nice family-run business that is very concerned about guests' privacy and security.

The location and value for money is great! I have to travel to Glasgow on my own fairly often and always choose to stay here when I need to stay overnight. The neighbourhood is perfect, very close to the University and anything you might need. The rooms are all different but I've always felt safe and comfortable, which is why I always come back. The sizes/ layout etc varies but the it's clean, beds are comfortable, showers and hot water always work fine, and there is usually a kettle with tea and coffee in each room, which is very nice. The check-in times are also very flexible which suits me because my schedule is always different, and the staff are always super kind and helpful. I would really recommend staying here.

I liked the Glasgow House very much. It's a small and simple place with character, which is all I wanted. Run by a quiet couple who are very nice. Its excellent location is right by Glasgow U, Kelvingrove Park, and wonderful bakeries, pubs, and restaurants. Aside from a TV (which I didn't need) and WiFi, it doesn't have the updated amenities of a more modern hotel. But that's not why I stayed there.

There really isn't anything I disliked. Maybe the bed could have been just a little more comfortable and been supplied with an additional blanket, since it's cold at night -- however, I warmed up after a few minutes and the furniture is of good quality, so really it was fine.

Very friendly hosts. Location was absolutely ideal for visiting museums and galleries. Plenty of lovely places to eat. Close to public transport. Good access to convenience stores.

Maybe update the front yard for sitting outside?

Staff are fantastic 👏 Location right on point 1block away from subway. Beds and linen are clean While it needs a good updating, it ticks all the boxes for the price just some where to get your head down and off out.

The first impressions of the room was a little updating and attention to detail wouldn't go a miss. Replacing light shades and making sure bedside lights are working.

Very good location, nice stuff, value for money. The area was amazing, and there were many places around to eat and drink , 13 min walk to ashton Lane, 4 min to subway, and 1 min to bus. Stuff was friendly, and the room was clean . There was also tea and coffee.

Shower head wire and had an issue, and the water was coming out from the tap as well as from the shower and the tap i the shower was really difficult to use.

I appreciated the location--right by Great Western Road with close access to shops and subway. It was easy to pop in and out during the day between sightseeing and eating. It was an old place, and so it was more affordable (with the drawbacks that come with an aging building), and the lady who takes care of things was absolutely lovely! The first room I had didn't have wifi signal, so she gave me another room on the top floor where the wifi was great, and I loved the view! As far as cleanliness goes, everything was almost as spotless as possible. The bed was warm and comfortable, and I appreciated the pictures in the foyer and halls that added a homey touch.

There was mold in the bathroom, but without proper ventilation it's hard to avoid. The shower curtain was too long so that added to the mold. I felt very safe and comfortable, but when I had a neighbor in the next room I did wish for a chain lock, just because I worried they might try the wrong door! The floors creaked, the walls were thin, and the wifi down the hall didn't reach, but if you're like me and value a good neighborhood and feeling safe over having everything perfect, this is a good place.

Room was very small but it worked for us since it was just somewhere to sleep for the night and we weren't spending much time in it Place could be doing with some renovations, bathroom was a bit rundown

It was just off the Great Western Road, lots of cafe’s and shops very close by. A short walk to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, with Glasgow Botanic Garden just up the road a bit. Easy to get into the heart of Glasgow from Kelvinbridge Circle station.

Property needs a bit of a refresh, although my room was more than adequate.
