I loved the location of the property - a stone’s throw from the vibrant West End of Glasgow. On street parking on Grosvenor Terrace wasn’t unreasonable and with the added bonus of free parking on a Sunday. 150 yards from Oran Mor where I was heading to a gig! Also on the corner of Byre’s Road & a short walk to Ashton Lane.

I prefer a king size bed when booking a suite, they only seem to have double beds in theirs. But that’s a minor issue since the bed was very comfortable. The photos on booking.com use a wide angle lens so some people may be misled as to the size of a suite unless looking at square footage.

Excellently appointed and situated Victorian Hotel. Ideal for exploring Glasgow’s West End and The Botanical Gardens. Offered choice of room location ie Botanical Gardens side with nicer view but some road traffic noise or quieter side overlooking supermarket car park. Opted for the former. Good breakfast.

Having been out for the evening returned to hotel room (108) about 10.30pm. About half an hour later popped down to the bar to order a nightcap to bring back to room but bar was shut. Had been open when returning to hotel about 10.30pm.

Everything about this hotel is brilliant. The hotel itself is a Hilton building and is in tip top condition. We ate out of the hotel for the first few days. Big Big mistake, the food , price and staff outstripped outside by far. Needless to say we ate in for exceptional breakfasts and dinners after that. All I can really say here is that the price, the staff, the food and everything about the Grosvenor Hotel is Brilliant. It is situated next to the Botanical Gardens too which is beautiful. I must here thank Julie, Andrew, Robbie, Neve and all the staff for making our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to go again.

Fabulous location In Glasgow’s west end for lovely eateries, botanical gardens, Kelvingrove park. Such an iconic part of the city . The hotel was spotlessly clean, comfortable , tea/coffee in the room. Great friendly staff, really good breakfast options.

The bedroom we were allocated had an unpleasant odour, however when I went to reception the manager changed our room without question, great customer service.

Beds were amazingly comfortable. They provided 1x room overlooking the gardens and 1x room across the hall (much quieter). Lift was broken however the staff transported all our luggage for us, and we were able to be escorted up and down staff lift as needed which was awesome. Great restaurant downstairs and bar as well. Great location right next to botanic Gardens. Easily get a taxi using the button at reception that had fixed price to the airport.

Lifts not working, but this hotel transferred all our luggage and escorted us up via staff lift so it was a total non-issue 🤗

Was a brilliant stay, very comfy room, great design, both receptionists were fantastic

During the stay a maid chapped the door asking to come in an put new towels in, I was in the middle of getting changed and had near to no clothes on and when i said "in a minute" while i put some trousers on she said "no im doing it now" and burst into the room while i was near to naked. For the next hour me and my girlfriend were in shock but we did see the funny side, however not all guests will have that funny quality. apart from that tiny experience it was an amazing stay but i cant put a 10/10 review because of that

Location was perfect for us as we were attending a concert at Oran Mor. The staff at the hotel were friendly and very professional, especially Peter who welcomed us and gave us a lot of useful information until the checkout was free, he told us where the restaurants were, public car parking, every question we asked he had the answer and information. When we were walking around in the hotel, if Peter saw us he would politely stop us an just check that everything was okay and that we had what we needed, it was re assuring to know that if we did have any problems, Peter was a man that can and he would sort things out

Car parking is an issue, the hotel has very limited car parking spaces, but it is a city centre hotel, there is public parking out the front of the hotel which is not over expensive £8.00 for 2 hours, after 6.00pm it is free and starts again at 08.00am the following morning which worked perfectly for us

the location for us was perfect, I am from Glasgow but don't live there now and it was lovely to be in the west end again. First of all I would say the staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was warm clean and modern and the room was also warm clean and modern. The only slight issue with the room was the shower head kept moving to the side which meant spilling over onto the floor which wasn't great for the floor, or for our safety.

as mentioned before the shower was a bit dated needs replaced.

We had our wedding reception at the Grosvenor and stayed there to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and entrance. The Terrace area is really nice to sit in. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was fantastic and staff very friendly. Many happy memories of the Grosvenor. Would highly recommend it.

Cannot fault the hotel. Only thing maybe was parking facilities are not great and quite expensive if staying for a few nights.

I booked this hotel because of the location (close to the university), and it was perfect for that. It's just a 10-minute walk to the university, and there are lots of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good, and the restaurant in the hotel was great for dinner.

The windows in our rooms weren't dual-paned, so there was a bit of street noise. I sleep with ear plugs, so it didn't bother me, but this could be an issue if you are a light sleeper.
