On arrival i went to my room and tv wouldn't work, I phoned reception and the very friendly receptionist took it and replaced it with a brand new 1, so that was excellent. The room was spacious, the bed was very very comfortable and pillows were amazing. The bar and restaurant area was very good, lovely and spacious and clean. I had a Bourbon Hamburger Meal, it was lovely, with a great ice cold pint of Stella. All the staff were amazing, very helpful, all speaking Scottish. This Hotel is good value for money and very easy access to the Hospital, which is opposite Hotel, and close to 2 train stations, easy walkable. I would definitely stay again when in the area, Nigel from Leicester

The rooms are bit dated, and corridors smelt Musty, they could do with a good airing, some fresh air

The staff on reception meet and greet were fantastic Very knowledgeable helpful and professional 10 out of 10 from me I would think that it would Be advantages to have more cosy reception and bar area it still looks a bit like what the pond hotel looked and felt like . If it was more inviting I believe it would be a great hit Just cosier nicer lights cushions a feeling of warmth and you will definitely be a great asset to the hotel community and I will be going back this weekend a bit more classier all about lighting and comfort and a bit more classy I for one thought that it has great potential and you are in the way to a successful venue Needs tweaked not a lot but it will make a big difference in my opinion I am a major world event coordinator and I lived in Dubai for 30 years doing world events I have a huge following which at the moment is just about getting it right I am on linked in and would be Happy to help I worked with Sheik Mohammed Al Maktoum on many projects all on the internet . The atmosphere needs something

Short walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment in West End of Glasgow (30 minutes). Friendly and professional staff. Decent sized and comfy room. Welcoming reception, bar, and restaurant area.

The shower was a bit hard to operate. Room, whilst fully adequate and clean, could have done with a bit of an uplift. Breakfast was decent enough, but I'm not sure if it offered good value. Ironing facilities were available but not well-maintained. Price, whilst competitive compared to other nearby hotels, doesn't offer the same value-to-standard for a similar property 5-10 years ago.

The room was a good size everything in there that I required, hairdryer, iron/board, tea, coffee facilites.. Staff were polite and helpful and tried to accommodate our needs as a group.

The breakfast wasn't great only one choice of coffee in the machine and didn't taste good at all, no milk jugs for the milk so had to go top coffee up from the cereal milk tap a bit unhygienic if your reusing the same coffee cup, the bacon was like shoe leather and inedible,fried eggs swimming in oil and rubbery no black pudding or white pudding only nice things were the mushrooms and the white bread used wouldn't book breakfast again if I was staying

Staff person on Saturday morning took information from me regarding light bulbs out in the room, but did tell me that maintenance staff was not available to replace lightbulbs. 2 of 3 lights in the bathroom were out. When I returned in the evening expecting light, I found the same dark, poorly lit bathroom. No work had been done. However, the Saturday evening staff person saved the day. Not only did he explain the matter but personally found the correct replacement light bulbs and replaced them for me. Great recovery! I appreciate that he listened, seemed concerned, acted concerned and took it upon himself to resolve the matter. This is made an impression on me. He knows that "little things" matter.

Online check-in, everything ready for my arrival, recognised as a previous guest, room spotless, welcome note and biscuits in room, quiet and comfortable room. Reception and Housekeeping staff all friendly and genuinely tried to help. Car park was treated in very icy conditions, express check-out made departure smooth, hassle free. This is my 3rd stay when in Glasgow and I'll definitely be back.

Only one lift working, this is still the case since my November stay! Gets busy and long wait at busy times - breakfast and morning departure. Bathrooms getting a bit tired, could do with a refresh, BUT everything clean and works. Please, please clean the plugs of previous guests hair, etc.? Please check ALL buttons on tv remote work

The best thing was that the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is people and the way they make you feel that matters so much, and the staff here were great. They responded extremely promptly when we had a problem with our shower not stopping and the person on duty and the maintenance man were there very fast. The lady who serviced the rooms could not have been nicer, and she had even left a welcoming note and some small gifts of a soft drink and tunocks teacake, etc. On our last morning we were unsure about whether my sister would be discharged or not so your staff just made the checkout time later and, because of the circumstances did not charge us.we left as soon as we knew. We like that servicing the rooms is by request, and you just had to ask for additional supplies of anything. It brought a moment of pleasure, esp. good given my sister was having an operation the next day. Having a fridge in the bedroom was brilliant, both for milk and my insulin. The proximity to the M&S convenience store was very helpful. The location by the lovely pond and so near the hospitals is perfect. The breakfast had a good range of options.

The restaurant menu was a little expensive given the portion size, and it was hard for me to find a suitable low carbohydrate meal for my diabetes. We understand that it is a set menu and think it would be good if the local chef could produce their own menu. It could be a selling point for Leonardos. The one meal I ordered was too small it resulted in us eating out elsewhere, which we might have done anyway as it's nice to go out sometimes, butbit did clinch it. The fried egg were a little dry, I wonder if a cover would help ( I don't know if it would, but the heat lamps dried them, I think). The hotel was just fine and the staff the most important thing

Travelled from Northern Ireland on the ferry then got the train to Glasgow Central. Property was very accessible from here with public transport links. Check in was quick and simple, and staff were very friendly and eager to help. Great choice of options in the restaurant and bar, and once again staff were top class and fulfilled their role with a smile on their face. Spacious room and had a great nights rest. Will visit again for sure.

Can be slightly noisy, however this did not affect me personally when I was trying to sleep.

Good location and easy to get to from the station. Amazing big comfortable bed! Great buffet breakfast, loved the fried potatoes and the guy working at breakfast was so friendly and helpful and helped us with a late checkout which was so great and made our stay perfect, thank you.

The decor is a little tired and scuffed but it's all functional and clean enough. The room was quite hot and the fan was working overtime, also the sink didn't drain very well and filled up quickly, all minor issues though.

The property was good. Nice and near to the hospital which was a good thing. Lovely duck pond beside it so you can walk around it and enjoy the birds.

My only problem was that while I was in my room on Monday afternoon someone else got into my room. They were also booked for my room. Eventually got it sorted out. Then my key cards would not work so had to go to reception to get it sorted. I thought I might have got more of an apology from the hotel.
