We didn't have breakfast but the lunch was superb - both Indian and European menu, delicious food, good price, nicely presented and professionally served. All staff friendly and helpful. The bed and sofas were comfortable, the room spacious, the Smart TV a good size and the bathroom modern with a spacious walk-in shower (but further comment below).

We were in the Suite, with a bed, two sofas, coffee table and smart TV. I would've appreciated a round table with chair, like those in the other rooms, for using my laptop. There was plenty of room for one. Again, although there were mirrors there was not a single one, of any size, in the bathroom. There could be one on the wall next to the basin, or on the wall between the bath and the walk-in shower, or on the wall facing the door. As usual, there was no shelf in the shower for soap and shampoo and the toilet seat was loose. The two clocks on the wall in the vestibule had no battery. It was a nice Suite, with a good bathroom, spoiled by these things.

Very clean, great bed, everything was functioning well, nice atmosphere.

-on a Sunday morning, the bar and the restaurant were closed (after a wedding party), so we couldn't get anything to eat or a cup of coffee, but we understood the situation - during the next 4 months after we had made the reservation, we received 37 e-mails- via Booking.com messages from false accounts pretending to be Crowwood, I guess their account was hacked We called directly to the hotel to check if everything was OK with our reservation. The messages sounded like this: "You need to complete the steps using this link. https://crowwoodhousehotelagaq.mp-lz.click If not done, the spot will be canceled. The page explains everything simply. 6 hours left to act. Thanks for taking care of this"

The room.was spacious clean and warm the decor was good. Much better than I expected. We got a very good deal.

We had an evening meal in the Alba Restaurant a fusion of Indian Italian and British food. I ordered Chicken Pakora and Punjabi chicken both lovely. My husband ordered steak pie it arrived without the flaky pastry lid with one slice of garlic bread on top. When we complained we were told the flaky pastry had run out and the chef thought that garlic bread was acceptable. The servers were very apologetic and offered a portion of chips. Was quite funny they were all do.embarrased and handled it well. No.doubt the chef was told not to do.that again in no.uncertain terms.

Young man on reception duty was very pleasant and smiley. Got me an extra towel straight away. Housekeeping lady in morning was also very nice. Motel type place. Stop-over rather than a destination hotel unless you particularly want this area. Ground floor room was spacious and generally clean with soaps, tea/coffee tray etc. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed. Pleasant outside area at back looking towards golf course. Good price paid for this time of year. Plenty parking. Didn't eat at restaurant but seemed quite popular. Good check in/out times.

Missing a bath mat but was provided an extra towel straight away. Unpleasant damp/fusty smell in room. Opened window but was on ground floor and noisy road outside. Black out curtains but need a blind or voile on window for privacy!

Even though the room had just been cleaned, on opening the curtains there was a small amount of litter behind them. Breakfast which was an additional £9.95 per person was not very enjoyable. We have had much better breakfasts for half the price. ‘Full English’ breakfast was very greasy. Sausages seemed like they had been deep fried, egg was greasy and solid, bacon chewy, tattie scone very greasy. Toast/cereal ok which we did ourselves.

Comfortable beds and a great shower. Really good food at the attached Alba restaurant. Easy parking and only 15 mins from the centre of Glasgow. Staff were very friendly. It was a shame we had to leave so early in the morning for a triathlon event so didn’t mange to enjoy the breakfast.

It was a little warm in the room and if you open the window for air the traffic noise is quite loud! Good to take a pair of ear plugs. But that’s a good idea for all hotels!!

i wanted a drink i was told someone would ask me what i wanted after 10 minutes waiting i had to go to a till station the lady was abrupt with me assume they was busy and stressed.

Very friendly staff. Attended well to our previous request regarding my wife's mobility issue. The receptionist ordered a taxi for us as we were going out in the evening - she also came to the room to let us know it had arrived. Breakfast was well cooked and to order rather than buffet style. The hotel was well maintained, well equipped and kept clean.

Nothing major Another chair in the room would be handy for when relaxing, watching TV or having a cuppa. More tea/coffee & milk would also be nice.

The hotel room was perfect for our two night city break stay. Very clean, a brilliant bathroom and comfy large bed. A fantastic price for two nights. The staff were welcoming and on hand when we needed them. We returned late from our concert on the first night and there was a phone number to ring and before we rang it the security guard opened the door. A great stay.

There was a vegetable smell in the corridor but as it is a restaurant too it can’t be helped. Perhaps an air freshener may support it though.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious room with good en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower over. Convenient location. The Alba 'Indian & Scottish restaurant was good. On the Indian half of the menu prices were reasonable and the food good ( I did not try the Scottish part of the menu). Parking was available.

The accommodation was expensive for an overnight stay for a solo traveller. There were no drinking glasses, and no hand towels, and no flannels in the room. Breakfast was poor. I went down for breakfast at 8.45am on the Sunday (reasonable for a Sunday morning) and it was a help your self buffet breakfast. The 'hot' food had obviously been left for a while, and was lukewarm at best. It obviously had not been replenished for a while. Cold plates did not help! There was no fresh fruit, only tinned mixed fruit. The orange juice was of a poor quality, and still in its carton. Coffee likewise was lukewarm from a flask. It's best not to pay for breakfast!
