The bar is absolutely lovely and it's really cheap and the staff are actually really friendly and made our stay even nicer. Had a pool table in the lobby to so that was a bonus.

Problem being is that the room was really hot, it isn't exactly a bad thing however it is when there is no air con and the cooling fan they give you is years old and sounds really loud. We couldn't leave the window open over night as it was really loud so we didn't get much sleep due to this issue. Another issue was the bath. There was a fault with the plug to let the water down so we had to ask one of the staff about it. Noticed the room was supposed to have queen sized beds but they felt really small for being a queen, seemed like a double.

It was very modern with a lovely bar and excellent choice of drinks and snacks

Everything was fine but due to over booking we were moved into the hotel attached. Staff seemed to be missing communications a few times which held us up and caused some frustration. This included not communicating that we had already paid and we were asked to pay again, it then took a good 10-15minutes to sort this out. Staff kindly organised complimentary breakfast on our booking and when we arrived at breakfast the staff said only one of us was booked for the breakfast. So another request to check the communication to sort this out again.

I did not have a problem with this visit because we arrived late, but on our stay Sept 4-6, we arrived from the USA. We worked all day took the flight with very little sleep arrived at about 9:00 AM very tired and could not check into our rooms until 3:00 PM. (I wrote an email a head of time asking for help.) Yes, our rooms were ready at 3:00 PM. If I were traveling from the future and your policy remains the same, I would look around for a better arrangement. On both of our stays, we left before 7:00 AM. In the USA I was required to be at work at 7:30 AM. I double if you cleaning staff starts very early.

Really enjoyed our stay my daughter is disabled so having a secure car park was fantastic they have a few disabled spaces I called a few days before and they were king enough to put a reserved on the space. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a room suitable for my daughter it was a family room that had plenty of space to get about.. We took our pet dog as the hotel is dog friendly she really enjoyed her stay aswell. The hotel was really central only a short walk to the center of the city it was really quiet no noise from any other residents from the hotel which was fantastic we like the quiet life... The hotel has a nice bar that does cocktails and a good selection of food and drinks on a whole a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

I had nothing I dislike about the hotel

The property was in a good location. We were welcomed in reception, the restaurant was well priced and food was good. The room was really clean and spacious. I liked the separate toilet and shower room. Again really clean. Tea and coffee facilities all good too. I thought the breakfast was very good value, a really nice range of options. The staff we encountered were lovely and attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

The roadworks in the hotel area are extensive. It is located in a tourist area and so expect some low level noise even late at night. Not a huge problem for us but those with young children might be bothered. The toilet in the room was quite wobbly to sit on.

The room was great!

I worked all day the day of the flights from USA to Glasgow. Only sleep a little on the plane. When we arrived at about 9:30 AM at the hotel, we were informed that the room would not be ready before 3:00 PM. I had written more than a month before our arrival about a room before 3:00 PM. If we are traveling again from the USA with an early arrival, I will NOT stay at Novotel. Our departure was early in the morning. The hotel staff could have asked when we were leaving and had cleaning people there early.

I travel home to Scotland every Christmas when possible and each year stay at this hotel. Find the situation ideal, easy walking distance to the city centre and close to bus routes if I want to go further. A very big plus is the parking below the hotel, which charges Nothing for parking and only £8 on every departure. Very reasonable in comparison to most hotrls. As an extra plus, there are ev charging fasilities there as well

The area has a few road closures which are a bit of a nuisance but hardly the fault of the hotel and luckily as I walk a lot only affected my arrival and departure.Thw staff

The room was very nice, tastefully furnished and spacious with everything we could want. A nice feature was toilet being separate from shower room, which also had a wash hand basin. A clever feature of the toilet is that the light comes on from the inside - good for not disturbing the other occupant during night if sharing room. Breakfast was very comprehensive and good - buffet style with large selection to choose from to suit all tastes. Worth noting: we got £4 pp off the cost of breakfast by notifying and paying at reception the night before.

Nothing.

1. Near to Hotel both Glasgow Central and Queen station. Just 15 minutes walking distance. 2. Room cleanliness 3. Quick service when informed on some issues with Bathtub drainage. 4. Nearby many restaurants, Grocery shops and Buchanan Gallery / mall with access to many good shops.

1. Out of two lifts, one lift was out of order atleast for three days during our stay. Novotel is a good name and had expected these issues to be fixed soon. 2. Just a suggestion, a small fridge is expected now a days in all Hotels. 3. Road construction work but this is not Hotel's fault.

The hotel is clean, staff very friendly, location excellent for Kings Theatre and shopping centres, food was really nice too

The only thing about this hotel I really didn't like is the amount of asylum seekers, it was a very uncomfortable atmosphere at breakfast with a dining room full of people on their mobile phones, we witnessed one person completely ignoring what a staff member had asked them NOT to do, this would definitely influence my decision NOT to stay here again sadly.
