Very comfortable beds, spacious room and amenities were very good including the microwave, LED lighting on the bed And our special request was taken into consideration :)

Not having any air con/ AC- windows didn’t open very wide to let air in, access to the hotel was a bit confusing due to roadworks/ construction all around the hotel.

Friendly staff, lovely bar and restaurant, great location for what I needed near Scottish Opera. Very large comfy bed with a larger than mini fridge in the room with small freezer compartment, larger shower, mini ironing board in the room. Pool table and free coffee from the machine downstairs til 12.

House keeping were not great, didnt replace towels or sheets when requested, wouldn't remember to replace the cups or teaspoons when they were clearly dirty. Only on the 3rd floor so the fan worked well for me despite a hot week but any higher ai think would be a struggle with A/C.

Funky, Modern, well run. Deserve their nomination for Newcomers, hope they win it. Reception staff were attentive. I needed assistance with a couple of things that other hotels may not have provided.i.e my suitcase wheel rubber split and they gave me electrical tape so it would keep it together and it has. Breakfast buffet food was plentiful and hot. Loved all the FRESH pastries provided. Granola & Yoghurt yummy. Good choice of juices and chilled water. The guy with the beard, very cheerful, who mostly ran the breakfast, was very attentive to all tables, quickly took used plates away, made sure tea and coffee area was replenished immediately. Hot Food was topped up straightaway. He was pleasant and chatty to everyone. Need duplicates of him around. It made the breakfast morning more enjoyable. Bed was comfortable with super large bathrooms including double shower and great rain shower head. Plenty of hot water.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. However, as a suggestion for the buffet breakfast, maybe add bananas and fresh berry fruits or compote, to have with cereal or yoghurt.

lovely reception area, bar & restaurant area. Staff happy & friendly. Delicious meal in Chop grill. Comfortable beds, with fridge & microwave in room, if needed. Seen free coffee machine (till 12pm) in lobby, although didn't use. We were there for the weekend for our anniversary, the hotel left a card & bottle fizz in room, lovely gesture.

Rooms are small, although bathroom was a decent size. Carpets in room need cleaned, the carpet was stained with something stuck to it. Walls need a clean down, looks like tin/bottle fizzy juice has exploded next to them. Bathroom skirting needing cleaned, orange shower gel/shampoo on it. Basic cleaning was done, but give the cleaners more time to do what's needed to rooms to bring them up to the 4 star accommodation that is stated. No beans for breakfast one morning, apparently ran out the day before........are there no shops/suppliers to get more???? (just bring picky)

Great location for central Glasgow while being just a little bit out of the very centre, so less noise. Two full double beds in the family room was great - so often a family room is one double bed and a fold down.

Breakfast was OK, but bacon very hard and over cooked and would have liked some mixed fruit to put in a bowl, rather then the whole apples, bananas etc. that were there. Duvets were stained. Good that there was on-site parking, but car park extremely small and getting into spaces when there were other cars parked was difficult. Also, car was covered in pigeon droppings after being parked. Had to take it through a car wash the next day.

Close to the city centre without the traffic, clean, welcoming, well decorated. A fan was provided which proved invaluable to us. The addition of a microwave and fridge/freezer were an unexpected bonus. The complimentary toiletries were lovely and smelled divine. Very happy to have been provided face cloths, a touch I've not personally seen before.

The pillows were a bit lumpy, room didn't have air con and was quite hot, shower ended up making a bit of a mess as the glass didn't come far enough. Not anything the hotel could have fixed but there was construction work going on across the road til almost 01.30 which was quite disruptive

The location was great, staff were helpful and it was very enjoyable.

We booked the suite for the purpose of having a small kitchen area as we were staying with our five month old baby and were in need of an area to prep her food / wash bottles etc. on arrival, we didn’t have this within the room and had to make do with using the sink in the bathroom which was less than ideal. It should have been marked clearer with what was in the room as pictures indicated a small kitchen area. The room was also freezing, we had to ask for a portable heater (twice…) however this helped a lot. The baby didn’t sleep more than an hour at a time without the heater.

Breakfast was excellent The bed was very comfy The shower was lovely and strong. Room was spotless. Lots of amenities to purchase late at night. Nice kettle, fridge and microwave set up. Extremely helpful staff!

- The room was too hot, even with air conditioning on all night. I was waking up with the heat. - There was no means to keep the weighted bathroom door open so it meant I was constantly opening it to pop in to do make up, wash hands etc. It became annoying. A door stop would have been really useful. - Car parking was not ideal - it was too small (could only reverse out) and completely full on-site. It was a chore with my luggage parking off-site in the overflow car park a few streets away. While I did appreciate the discounted rate at the off-site car park, the hotel needs its own ample secure car park.

Rooms are good, lobby area is beautiful, staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, location is great

The parking situation is a huge let down, they would be better off not offering parking at all. As mentioned by previous guests the spaces are tiny and barely enough room to manoeuvre around. Managed to squeeze into a space our first night and paid £30 for 2 nights parking, left and came back the first night and there were no spaces! Reception were very helpful and directed us to a multi story one street over, promptly refunded the £30 and discounted the ticket for the multi story. I actually ended up paying £5 for the first night and £12 the second night so this was way cheaper than the hotels car park anyway! Some stains on the carpets in the bedroom and the windows are tiny and high up so not a lot of natural light

Hotel lovely. Bright and fresh. Staff welcoming and helpful. Room very spacious and clean, bathrooms modern and well kept. Plenty towels and linens, bathrobes plus size friendly, kitchenette well equipped and appliances clean. Bed super comfortable and mood lighting etc a nice touch. Living room was smart and functional. Restaurant was beautiful and the food was very very good. Bar staff was so nice and chatty, no hotel noise at night, just fab. A really well proportioned, intuitively laid out hotel. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The only thing I struggled with was the lack of air con. This was combated, by a very good quality fan in the wardrobe, but, it was so loud we couldn’t hear the tv, and we could not get subtitles to work at all which was disappointing. But a very minor blemish on a near perfect stay. Brilliant hotel.
