Very comfortable beds, spacious room and amenities were very good including the microwave, LED lighting on the bed And our special request was taken into consideration :)

Not having any air con/ AC- windows didn’t open very wide to let air in, access to the hotel was a bit confusing due to roadworks/ construction all around the hotel.

The location was great, staff were helpful and it was very enjoyable.

We booked the suite for the purpose of having a small kitchen area as we were staying with our five month old baby and were in need of an area to prep her food / wash bottles etc. on arrival, we didn’t have this within the room and had to make do with using the sink in the bathroom which was less than ideal. It should have been marked clearer with what was in the room as pictures indicated a small kitchen area. The room was also freezing, we had to ask for a portable heater (twice…) however this helped a lot. The baby didn’t sleep more than an hour at a time without the heater.

It was everything you needed, beds made good, big TV, modern beautiful room and the bathroom, good location to walk to Tesco express within 10 min to get some meals and have cold drinks to use the microwave and mini fridge, 15 min walk to MacDonald's, 20 min walk to Buchanan Galleries or Buchanan bus station, same not far from Hunterian Zoology Museum, Hunterian Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens about 30 min walk. If you don't mind spending more money for breakfast yourself service with a lot to choose from and dinner at the restaurant the food was great and so was the staff.

Busy lift, load toilet 🚽 flush, hair in the bathroom drain, dusty cups.

Loved the facility, vibe & location. Lovely and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Amazing Shower. Nice touch with the robes. Good value for money. Breakfast was superb and gym was decent also. Id definitely book here again.

I didnt like the wait for the lifts, never experienced that much of a wait for a lift in my life. Landed up using the stairs, which wasnt a problem for me. Others with mobility issues may experience long waits. Very dark hallways, could be done with being brighter but the darkness is a vibe of the hotel im sure.

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. When we arrived very early to ask if we could drop off our cases we were told our room was actually ready and we could have access immediately. The receptionist was friendly and chatty asking what our plans were etc. Our room on the 6th floor was great. The shower in the bathroom was really good and the room was very clean. Breakfast was good. When we left our luggage in store with them on the day we left they even offered to apply some oil to the wheels of my friends suitcase as it was constantly squeeking as she dragged it along. Excellent Service beyond expectation! The hotel was in a great position for us being halfway between Central Station and The OVO arena.

Coffee at breakfast, if we are being picky!

We stayed at the Sandman as we were attending an event at the Ovo. The Sandman is within walking distance for the Ovo, but also for cafes and restaurants. The room and amenities were perfect and the staff were lovely. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

The room was quite warm so we had to open the windows. I really don't mind that, but it may bother some people. Also, although there was a parking space available in the hotel carpark, as we drive a Mercedes estate and the space was not big enough. We got the car in, but my partner was then not able to get out of the car. I would suggest if you drive a big car, you park at the Charring Cross carpark that is called out in your confirmation email.

All the reasons above. happy with room , very clean, lighting was a nice touch to change colour. Loved the hairdryer and iron choice. lighted the tea and biscuit left. liked the sliding door with mirror to cover microwave. good design.

There was no water available in room to make the tea - or for a quick drink - The facilities were excellent - iron, hairdryer and fridge but no details to say water not supplied when booking - top tip to include in booking or if I'm wrong make clearer. could have just a tiny bit more space at bottom of bed and desk - was a very tight fit.

As a family we had a brilliant stay here in the executive suite it was the perfect room size for us and although we only stayed the one night it had the perfect space and facilities to stay for several. Our only complaint for the whole stay was the room from 7pm onwards smelt really strongly of cooking like it was coming in from a restaurant nearby or another room perhaps, the smell was so strong it made us feel quite sickly after a few hours. It was still there early hours of the morning. We’ve come home and can smell the same smell on our clothing and belongings now. Really bizarre. The staff and hotel was brilliant other than this strange inconvenience.

The breakfast is good with a wide variety of food to choose from. The staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is close to shops and a wide range of eateries and restaurants and it has a gym and snooker table. Our room was clean and daily cleaning is possible if you hang up a notice on your door before 10am. There is a refridgerator, electric kettle, tea and coffee and mugs at no extra charge and an iron and ironing table. I could not ask for more. This is not my first time of staying at the Sandman Signature Hotel and its services is consistent.

If you oversleep you may miss the opportunity to have your room cleaned.

The breakfast was very good, the only thing was 3 out of 4 of our family are vegetarian and the other guests had unfortunately used the haggis serving spoon for the mushrooms. Would be good if that was monitored or maybe if the veggie options were all kept together so no risk of cross contamination. Other than that everything was great! The decor for the festive season was beautiful. The room was perfect, bathroom lovely and modern. Wr only stayed one night so didn't need the kitchen but it's great to have th choice especially with young children.

The lifts weren't reliable. One was out of order and the other very slow or very busy due to one being broken, we used the stairs. Didn't bother us too much but if we still had kids in double buggy it would've been tricky. We had to use taxis due to the location of the hotel, but we knew this prior to booking so we were aware hotel wasn't in the centre of glasgow.
