Nicely located in a quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to the city center and many sites. The staff is lovely, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel is well decorated and comfortable and I liked the toiletries.

My room was dark and could have benefited from more/better lighting. Pillows were too soft and I woke up with a stiff neck each morning. Also, my room was located on the first floor, above the entrance facing the street, so I could hear people on the street just below my window talking and laughing as they smoked etc, and it woke me up during the night.

I liked how friendly the staff were, any interactions that I had with them were always positive and pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable, loved the picture of the map of Scotland with all the old names for our towns and cities that was located in the hallway of our room, the rainfall shower was awesome and the bath was big enough to fit me! (I'm 6ft3), neither my fiance or me drink alcohol and we made staff aware before arriving and our mini bar was stocked with LOADS of water and soft drinks along with snacks, big shutout to Paul and Kseniia at the front of house and the housekeeping staff as well! 11/10 would stay again!

I don't have much to say about what I didn't like to be honest! Everything was great!

Location is quiet...considering your in the center of glasgow The welcome from reception staff on arrival and departure Makes you feel..they are attentive to your needs during your stay Had a wonderful Christmas dinner ...traditional with a classic timeless edge..creating a sensual overload ..with ever mouth full ...from starter to dessert.. It did not disappoint Bar has a wonderful selection of cocktails..champagne..whisky Yet again more attentive staff on hand to explain the selections of drinks available The rooms have a classical old school charm ..with a sharp modern edge...in its own right a wonderful indulgence The hotel is quiet...certainly a place where you can recharge away from the outside world Have returned to this hotel on many visits ...does not disappoint

Yet to find something wrong...

The staff at Jack's bar were amazing and we were made to feel well looked after. Cocktails were great. The reception staff lovely too. Room was nice, decor simple but elegant. no noise from other guests. Would definitely stay again.

The bar staff where amazing and set the bar high for attentiveness and were very professional. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the server in the grill. The woman who served us made us feel a little uncomfortable. Almost that we were a bother being there. I'm not entirely sure what the issue was but it was definitely noticed. I understand it was quite late and maybe the end of her shift so maybe tiredness was involved. There was definitely a noticeable difference between the service though.

The Executive King Room was cozy, comfortable and clean. The staff were very warm and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Very professional. Very chilled, spa-like atmosphere with dimmed lighting. I relaxed the moment I entered the lobby. I wasn't expecting my room to be ready so early but it was available for me to check right in before 11am. That was perfect.

An alternative to the synthetic duvet and pillows would have been a good option if possible as I really overheated both nights with those. The bed was incredibly comfortable though. I just don't like sleeping under a synthetic duvet. I did have the a/c down to 19, too, but still too hot. I felt the prices for food in the Grill were a little steep. £23 for broccoli gnocchi, however delicious, was too expensive. Especially as the (delicious) crab linguine the second night was only £18 in Jack's Bar upstairs. Didn't deter me though and I had delicious meals both nights.

Really enjoyed the style and ambience of the hotel. Lovely appointed room and it was nice and quiet too!. Friendly staff who checked us in. Thanks!!

Only one thing. We popped to the hotel bar after dining out elsewhere. I headed to the bar to confirm whether it was table service and this was confirmed by the person behind the bar. After waiting for over 20 minutes for someone to pop over to take our order we gave up. The bar area was very quiet and we do not know if there was anything going on that evening which might have taken the team members attention away from us.

I stayed with my partner for his birthday. We arrived a little early to drop our bags, our room was already made up and we got straight in. The room was absolutely gorgeous. We had planned to go to the terrace for a few drinks then head out but the terrace kept us! The staff are absolutely amazing. Adam from the bar knew his stuff! He was very attentive and made sure we were ok. The housekeeper from Saturday morning on our floor was lovely I asked for some extra tea bags which was no problem for her. Very polite!

I can genuinely say that there's absolutely nothing I didn't like. I would highly recommend this place.

The staff were superb. I was arranging a surprise Dinner/Overnight as part of my Husband's Birthday. They allowed me to drop our Overnight Bag a couple of days before, to maintain the surprise element. Bag was in our room on arrival. Along with a lovely Birthday Catd , with a message to enjoy the gig we were going to. Showing they were very attentive to WhatsApp Messages that had passed between us.. Room was lovely, although didn't spend that much time in it. Wlill definitely be back soon 😍

The most notable thing were the staff. They could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I especially want to mention Jen and Jordan, who went above and beyond the call of duty, but every one else was just as good. The breakfast was lovely.

The room could have been serviced a bit more often; meaning, we ordered room service the first night, and the tray and dishes were not cleared until we asked for it, well into the second day. We asked for the rubbish to be emptied but this was not done. We felt that the room service menu lacked in offering lighter meals such as sandwiches, etc, and not just heavier meals. With that said, again, the staff was exceptional.

Really nice upscale hotel. This place feels 5 star and the staff provides that level of service. Room was very large and not even the largest king they have. Housecleaning daily and top notch. I personally love the dark decor it has a level of sophisticated charm and privacy much like some European hotels I’ve been in. Nice bar and restaurant. Friendly staff . I would absolutely only stay here if I come back to Glasgow

If a long stay a gym would be nice
