Location great. Staff so friendly, and helpful. Bed very comfortable with great bedding. Bathroom supplies lovely, and like the design of shower, slope of tray drains away from your feet, and door open in to shower meaning floor stays dry outside shower. Soft furnishings good. Fridge, and lots of supplies of teas n coffee. Good soundproofing.

I’d requested a high up level floor, and rooms with single beds are up to floor 4, but still had a decent view across Glasgow (rm 403). But we found debris from previous occupants unfortunately. Tel’d main desk and they sent chief housekeeper and cleaner, and also offered another room. We ended up in 202, but our view was of brick wall, which was disappointing. We were also offered complimentary drink each from the bar for inconvenience. Because the staff were lovely, we didn’t cause any trouble and enjoyed our stay at end of the day. We didn’t take breakfast, but when checking in, were offered a discount if we wanted it.

Mini-bar and toiletries were good. Staff were very attentive, from check-in to check-out, very helpful and would be the reason for returning once again (we have stayed in this hotel previously).

We stayed in a Duplex room and were awoken by the guests in the room next door for a good hour or more in the early hours of the morning. I understand there's nothing the hotel can do about this but every word could be heard through the walls, perhaps it's the Duplex room set up but it really put a dampener on our stay, which was a real shame.

Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. But excellent all round experience. Small glitch with room facilities was swiftly and willingly resolved by Matthew the duty manager to our entire satisfaction. Room was a good size and comfortable. Everything clean and well equipped. There was plenty of wardrobe storage space ( not always present in modern hotels) and a fridge. Great shower and bed. We'd definitely use the hotel again.

Nothing really. If we had needed parking - which we didn't this stay - I'd have looked closely at what their arrangements were within the area as it wasn't apparent that there was on site parking

Firstly the Staff that we encountered were all Absolutely Amazing, Professional, Friendly, Understanding and Helpful. The Hotel Room we were in was Spacious, Stylish and Had everything we needed from Air Conditioning to a Mini Fridge, So it was perfect. The Breakfast has very good choice, Hot Options Cooked to Order and a Lovely Spread for Continental. I have stayed in this Hotel Before in The Duplex Suite and for a Special Occasion I would recommend this as well!!

This is Purely my Preference but I felt the Bed and Pillows were a Little Hard compared to what I am used to.

This was a great stay right from the moment we alighted from our taxi and Jack, on reception, came out into the rain and took our suitcases up the stairs (there is a lift at the side of the stairs for wheelchairs, so access is good). He then proceeded with a very smooth and efficient check in and provided plenty of information about the hotel, breakfast available and the local area as did Alex the following day. Our room, whilst fairly compact, was big enough for us and clean and comfortable, nicely furnished and the decor warm and inviting. We decided we would avail ourselves of the hotel breakfast and this was also very nice indeed. The hotel was conveniently located in the middle of the city so very walkable to tourist attractions and also plenty of local places to eat. We would highly recommend Apex Glasgow. We noticed that British Airways chooses this hotel for its pilots and staff, also.

Staff were amazing especially Oisin, such a warm and friendly welcome, easy check in. Oisin even remembered us the next day and asked how our show was which was a great customer experience. I had booked a twin room with my young daughter and she received a rubber duck and a welcome card, there was a fridge in the room which was handy. There was free 24 hours access to tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge which my daughter loved. It was a few minutes walk to the theatre royal for us which was ideal. We didn't have breakfast but could smell it and the lounge was busy when we left in the morning, so must be a hit.

Been here a numerous times and always had a great experience love a room with a sofa as when we have been out all day we kick off our shoes and have a little drink Breakfast is amazing and staff are amazing

We had a room on the top floor and as soon as you stepped in there was an unpleasant smell we told receptionist who said they would let maintenance know but had to experience 2 nights of it We spoke to the girl that was cleaning our room and she said she was aware of this problem on the eighth floor, so not really enamoured with this situation

Great location, lovely friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, really clean, comfy beds. Loved the option to have access to water stations on each floor to fill up your glass carafe which were provided in the rooms. In the downstairs area you had access to free coffee/tea machine 24hrs which is great.

Room so hot! Air con could be cooler only goes down to 19 which is still too warm when the sun is out and the large glass front facing windows heats the room up. Really thick duvet on a hot day didn't help, may have the option of a lower tog available.

Location of hotel central, within easy walking distance of tourist attractions, and serviced by bus routes for easy travel around the city. Reception staff friendly, efficient, helpful, and interested. 2 x lifts, so only short waits involved. My room was clean and tidy, bathroom fully stocked with lovely toiletries, complimentary bathrobe and slippers.

Not enough coffee supplies in room - caffeine addict. I did use the facilities in the lounge, but would have been nice to have more in the room, so I didn't have to leave my room.

The professionalism of the night manager on duty on NYE was great. The speedy response of the fire alarm attendant was superb, and the same can be said of the fire service on-site in the early hours of this morning! I loved the vast menu choices for breakfast this morning, and the service from the FOH and Bar duty manager on duty was excellent. Such a lovely, helpful, and quick member of staff. Nothing was too much trouble... I loved the NYE touch when I returned home to find a lovely Scottish gift on the side from Apex!

The fire alarm at 3.00 in the morning, which resulted in an hour's less sleep and the noise coming from a nearby club until 14.00 in the morning! The night manager's knowledge regarding the availability of breakfast service was misleading as he claimed it didn't exist. He also should not have charged me for a glass of alcohol as it was included in the Apex rewards package! The FOH Manager also tried to falsely charge me for my 1st night's stay, which is actually due upon departure according to Booking.com's payment policy, which takes precedence over Apex Hotel's charging policy itself.
