The location was not far from Queens street railway station with no issues to explore the city. A pleasant, friendly welcome from reception staff, got to give Laura a mention 👍 smooth check in and out and being able to leave bags a bonus. We had requested a quiet room if possible and were given 2 options one facing the main road or another to the side however we were told this had a view of a wall. We chose this one as there was work being carried out on the main road and cars where on a traffic light system so more road noise than normal. It was only for 1 night so not an issue for us. The beds are comfortable with choice of pillows, clean rooms, nice towels and body wash and shampoo available and a power shower. There is an iron, ironing board if needed and also a hairdryer, tea/coffee facility. Breakfast was plentiful with good choices and continually being topped up. Best scrambled eggs I have had from any hotel. Pleasant friendly welcome from the ladies and tables cleared quickly so no waiting at the busy times. Lots of places to eat close but we ate at Ask Italian over the road from hotel in the evening after doing 20k steps it was much needed

Nothing really to dislike. We recently stayed in Holiday Inn Express in Liverpool with its Corporate image, you know what to expect.

The overall location is perfect. Near main attractions, restaurants - especially a nice italien restaurant just beside it. It's 3-5 min. walking distance to central bus station. I highly recommend. Staff is courteous. Breakfast good.

Parking is extra and very expensive. Best to rent car on the way out of Glascow/ or give it back (as we did) on your way in. Take the bus, very close by. Can't recommend taking their "breakfast to go" if you're leaving early. That consisted of an apple and a croissant... no drink. I would have preferred to pack up my own the day before.

The staff were very helpful from front desk, in the breakfast room, and on the landing. Main reason I would visit again. Availability of iron and board was great when I had to iron suit after getting wet. Fairly good choice of breakfast and hot drinks in morning. Sound was not bad in corridors.

Not much. Would have liked a poached or fried egg. I did not enjoy sausages. Personal taste. Only other negative for me is what is in all hotels and that is the duvet. It makes me sweat during the night. Prefer sheet and blankets.

Every staff member we interacted with were very friendly and lovely, especially Irene (sorry if I misspelt their name) she was very engaging when we checked in and out, her customer service is exceptional and an asset to the team. Our room was very good, we were tucked away but that just meant we didn't have any loud customers going past our door.

There wasn't much we disliked, nothing that the hotel could do anything about anyway so can't hold that against it. (The car park across the road we got a discount on from getting parking validated does have a lift but it's not sign posted great FYI! It's located in the stairwell closest to the hotel/street) ((the take away places always tried to deliver down the road, we had to walk out the front of the hotel to flag them down despite us adding the info to the notes part of the delivery thing. Possibly because the hotel doesn't have a drop off area since it's right on a junction))

Location was key. Reasons for being there was to be close to my son who was at the conservetiour. Very central and many shops nearby, very convenient and fantastic place to stay.

Unfortunately bad timing on our part as there were road works litterally on the doorstep, not the fault of the hotel.. However going by our own experience rating would have 10 out of 10 if not for the noise, again I understand not the hotels fault but did affect our stay a little....would still always recommend though.

Great value for money. Very central location. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist. Loved the double functioning door allowing toilet to be used by one person while rest of bathroom could be used by the other. Great idea! Nice comfy seat in room.

Hairdryer provided but only mirror apart from bathroom was full length one opposite bathroom door and nearest socket was too far to plug in any appliance so had to dry hair flying blind. Only other slight criticism was breakfast room seemed too small and crowded for the amount of people, one of the toasters wasn’t working and they were running out of hot food very quickly so I had to wait and go back for bacon and by then my egg was cold.

The hotel was absolutely spotless. The staff were amazing, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the local attractions. Laura met us on arrival and took ownership of our stay as our point of contact, nothing was too much trouble. The bed was super comfy and the heating wasn't blasting in our room on arrival, rather it was left to us to decide on the temperature - BIG TICK FROM US!! Many other hotels we've visited have thought that a hot room was a welcoming room, but generally takes hours to dissipate the heat to a comfortable level for us. Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Great selection of continental and cooked items, fresh juices, tea and coffee. But the staff were what made it such an amazing experience, always on hand with a smile and warm greeting to assist you in any way they could. The breakfast items were replenished without fuss or loss - everything was always available, fresh and delicious. The tables, plates and cups were cleared and cleaned efficiently and unobtrusively. It really was a marvel. Military precision with a smile The central location meant we were in the heart of the city with all its fantastic experiences on the doorstep. We will most certainly be back, and I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff are. They truly made our visit the relaxing break we hoped for. Well done one and all!! See you again soon.

The only thing I can put in this box is that unfortunately, we only booked one night. Next time we won't make this mistake.

Small table associated with chair in the room was wobbly TV sockets for HDMI cable hard to reach as TV is stuck into the wall with said sockets inaccessibly tucked inside left instead of being at the bottom Radiator location should always be in the main body of the room rather positioned next to the bed Breakfast wasn't great....bacon seemed boiled and flabby rather than fried - scrambled egg seemed high on milk content - with no flexibility for staff to offer fried eggs instead (not great for anyone who's lactose-intolerant) Muesli/granola was too sugary

Thi was my third stay in this hotel, each time for just a single night. It's a great location, convenient for public transport, with very helpful staff and a good breakfast - though the dining room is always really busy. The room was warm, comfortable and quieter than I was expecting, as it was on the first floor, the same floor as the breakfast room.

I booked online at the last minute a standard room and had clicked on a double bed for single person use, the room being priced at £78. A twin bedded room was priced at £67, if I remember correctly. After confirming the booking, I received an email saying bed type couldn't be guaranteed and, upon arrival, I was allocated a twin - bedded room. The receptionist told me that the booking had come through from Booking.com as a twin - bedded room, not a double bedded room, and no double bedded rooms were available, which I accepted. I do feel that it wasn't made clear to me BEFORE I confirmed the booking that I might not get the bed type I wanted. If it had, I would have booked the cheaper twin bedded option in the first place and saved myself some money.

I have stayed here a few times so I know my stay will be great. Staff are helpful . Room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable. There was a fan in the room as well. Free WI FI . I stayed here because i wanted to be in Glasgow for the Pride March. Great day, Happy Pride. So much to see and do. Location great close to Bus and train stations, Theatres. My mobility is not so good so it was good for me and I am a solo traveller. All the staff work so hard .Keep the good work up.
