This is our 2nd time staying there in 5 weeks , love the place, affordable, brilliant sittuated, great staff very friendly and helpful,from the manager to the girl who brought us fresh towels and the maintenance man

That my girlfriend found the manager very handsome I did get a little bit jealous lol

The hotel was in a fantastic location as it was so central! The room was super clean and comfortable and had every little detail in it. The highlight of the stay was 100% the staff who were superbly helpful and friendly from check in to check out and even after. I fell ill while visiting the city and the staff on the morning of the 21/04/25 not only gave me advice on what to do but allowed me to use the hotel phone for around 2 hours to be able to call the NHS as I was unable to call from my own mobile. They checked in with us while we waited to hear back from the NHS and offered additional support if needed and made us feel like we were no burden (it definitely was not an ideal situation for the staff to deal with). I honestly cannot recommend this hotel and the staff enough - Best stay I’ve had anyway

Absolutely nothing had a fantastic stay

I chose a room with no windows and it was in perfect darkness during the night. I have not had such a good night sleep like this for almost a year. Really liked it. The receptionist was really kind and helpful as well. She also informed she could help upgrade the room as well but I insisted on staying in the booked room with no windows as I would like to have a good night sleep.

The size of the room with no windows was significantly smaller than another room with windows that I booked last year. I thought there would not be significant difference, but it was to the point of making me felt a bit uncomfortable. Well, it's my own choice and in the end I did not regret choosing the room without windows though. I would still prefer the same even in the future as well. This is just as an information in case someone is wondering or making decisions and would like to know the difference in sizes between the two rooms.

We needed somewhere last minute due to issues with flat keys, I’d booked room on route, arrived and explained to staff we were stuck and asked if they could hold baggage for us till check in. The staff got a room ready and allowed us to check into room early and were very accommodating. Made a disaster so much easier. Hotel’s excellent location for train station.

Small rooms/noisy air conditioning unit. But for the price can’t complain

We were allowed to check in early and were given a better room than what we booked. ( We originally booked a room without window, but we were put in a wheelchair accessible room that was very spacious) Spotless clean spacious bathroom, big comfortable soft bed, an assortment of coffee and tea in the room, good temperature and ventilation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's bar/ restaurant is open until late with many options. 24h reception desk. The location is superb, right at centre at George Square. The bus to/from the airport is less than 5min walk away. Overall very happy with our stay, thank you!

My partner and I had stayed at Z Hotel before (in Bath), so we generally knew what to expect. A very modern room with a comfortable bed and a surprisingly spacious bathroom. The staff were absolutely lovely and always friendly. The hotel's location is perfect - right next to George Square and a short walk from Queen St Station (where you arrive from the airport).

The room itself was tiny. Half of it was taken up by the bathroom (frosted glass walls so I wouldn't recommend here unless you're really comfortable with your partner) and most of the other half was taken up by the bed. There wasn't enough room to leave a suitcase open on the floor (and definitely not two suitcases). Also keep in mind that the rooms without windows will need the fan or A/C running all the time or it gets very stuffy.

The Z hotel in Glasgow is extremely conveniently located right in the city center! It's just a short and easy walk from Glasgow Queen St. station and George Square and just a slightly longer walk form Glasgow Central. If you're traveling by train, like I tend to do it's the perfect location to stay at in order to have easy walkable access to many attractions, shops,restaurants and coffee shops as well as a bus stop in case you want to venture further out! This was my second stay here in about a year and both times I was very impressed and satisfied with the cleanliness of my room and the premises in general and the fast wifi especially for the very affordable and accessible price! Both times the staff have also been extremely friendly and available to help if I need anything. This is definitely my go to place to stay in Glasgow and I highly recommend!

I have very few complaints from either of my stays, the only thing that I would note is that at any Z Hotel location that I've stayed at, the rooms tend to be on the much smaller side. As I am someone who prefers to spend my time out and about exploring and experiencing things this doesn't bother me at all, however if you tend to spend a lot of time in your room you may want to take that into account. That being said they do have a very nice front lobby with food and coffee etc. that you could also take advantage of if your room gets too cramped!

Stayed there once before, great location, helped to discover new things, and the staff make it a pleasure to check in. Checking out is always sad though, but you can always go back. Want to stay again as soon as possible, even if it isn't until my next birthday in December. The room is luxurious, and you don't even notice there is no window. Makes it funny though when you don't know what time of day it is, unless you look at your clock or phone time! The bed too is incredibly comfy. I did actually manage to sleep well on this occasion, which I haven't done when sleeping away for a couple of years. That was to my relief. Fantastic hotel, highly recommended.

There is nothing to put here about what I didn't like. I do not see any way any services can be improved either. The only thing I will say is that the breakfast, which you pay for separately, could be included in the price of your stay, which would make it more expensive perhaps, but apart from that, no matter.

Very central. Room was clean warm and comfortable. I’d booked a Queen size room as it had a WINDOW !!!! Other rooms listed said no window - not sure if that meant AT ALL or that it opened into the atrium or the walkways Bed was very comfortable and the en suite was spacious and great shower Was a very nice place for a night or 2 but the small size maybe wouldn’t be ideal for a week. The staff were very nice and the location can’t be beaten and they were kind to give me a late check out for a small fee

Perhaps only that the room was smaller than I’d expected but having said that it was big enough so not really an issue

Location perfect very close to train stations Cheese and wine night nice surprise even if I couldn't attend Even without a window in the room it felt very comfortable unlike other places i've stayed with this setup AMAZING selection of hot drinks in the room very tasty extra comfort Lots of room due to efficient shelving etc. so even though the room was small it didn't feel crowded

The staff member who checked me in was lovely and informed me of everything I needed to know, very welcoming, although after serving me a man who I assume was his boss came over to him saying 'why didn't you say about the wine and cheese?' somewhat aggressively which was totally unnecessary as the staff member DID tell me about this and much more. I was annoyed to see staff members being treated poorly especially when he was so nice!!!
