The hotel is beautiful, it has a nice big open reception area. Quick and easy check in. You then enter a large stylish lounge with the bar within it. A very appealing area to relax with a drink before bed. Three lifts all working quickly take you to a nice corridor and your room. Beds very comfortable, nice coffee machine and shower. Room Service available also which we didn't use. No noise and blackout curtains allowed us to have an uninterrupted sleep. We went for breakfast 9 am on Saturday morning and it was really well set out. Loads of Continental style pastries, meats and cheese, yoghurts etc. The Breakfast included also a full Scottish Breakfast which was served buffet style, the quality of the food was very good and id recommend tagging breakfast on to your stay. The restaurant itself is very nice and we may look to eat in it if we were staying again in the future. Location excellent about 100 yards from George Square, 300 from Queen Street Station.

Good location. Not too far from the main transport links or city centre but far enough away from the main bustle and noise of the city centre. Friendly staff.

This is a bugbear of mine, but why does everywhere have to have music playing in their lobby, restaurants etc? Not everyone likes it, or can cope with it, and this was noticeably loud. I don’t book breakfast at hotels these days until I check out the “noise levels” - don’t hotels ever consider quiet spaces for those of us who need that, or would even prefer it? I shouldn’t have to pay a surcharge to eat in my room because of my neurology. Think about it.

Great location, clean and spacious. Lovely, big bed and loved having a wee Nespresso! Reduced parking rate for NCP George Street. The restaurant (Hazel) has some beautiful desserts! 😍

I found the aircon really loud which disturbed my sleep (couldn't work out how to switch it fully off). There was also an annoying sliver of light coming in because the curtains wouldn't fully shut, so had to jam them behind a chair...and I would have loved a firmer pillow. I'm being really picky though as it's a fab hotel.

Breakfast was good 👍. Needed more gluten free options - most supermarkets sell gluten free sausages as standard now. Gluten free bread wasn’t seen - it was a help yourself buffet not table service order what you want so options should be available. Decaf coffee wasn’t up to the mark. Otherwise the tea selection was great including decaf tea !! 👍 Great location !! 👍. Housekeeping did a good job. Bed was fine.

The toilet in room 601 didn’t flush very well. Needed multiple flushes waste of water. The room backs on to the room housekeeping uses as store etc also it seemed the noise from the next building were working was ongoing carried over? The heating controls were puzzling.

We absolutely loved our stay at the AC Mariott in Glasgow — we had requested an early check in which we got. Although not the twin room we booked, we were happy as Mother and Daughter to share a bed and get access to our room early. The bed was so comfortable, the room was spotless, the tea & coffee facilities in the room were great and so was having an iron, ironing board and hairdryer! Lovely big fluffy towels, robes and slippers too. Great TV and plenty space for the two of us. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating of our request for an extra pillow too (I was suffering from an injury which needed support!). Thank you so much for a lovely, memorable stay.a

We would loved to have had hand/body lotion in the bathroom.

A very modern and sleek building, with the large fancy lounge areas and mixed neutral decor we've come to expect from luxury hotels, but still clean and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and respectful the reception staff were and enjoyed the ice cream and snack bar in the lobby (naughty). We couldn't believe the lack of corridor noise we encountered from other rooms- on a Friday night, in the room opposite the lifts- and there wasn't even any street noise. The room itself was, again, neutral and modern. The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom clean and sleek with nice toiletries and a good number of appropriately sized towels. The breakfast was beautifully arranged, with fresh fruits and pastries, high quality hot food, and friendly service.

There was no onsite parking, and even with the app, it cost us around £20 to stay the night in the local NCP. The walk to/from the car park is very hilly and I could see it being very difficult for guests with disabilities, and heavy luggage.

Loved our stay at this hotel. Clean room, huge, comfy bed, fridge (no freezer section), large TV, ironing board and iron. A really comfortable room. Excellent bar and lounge area downstairs. We we able to store our luggage onsite on our last day and made use of the bar while we waited for a late train. This hotel is a 3-5 minute walk to Glasgow Queen St station.

The shower screen only covers half the length of the shower base, so water sprays out onto the floor and toilet when you shower. Apart from this flaw, the bathroom is nice.

Check in staff very friendly and welcoming, bar staff excellent knowledge of the drinks, breakfast staff were 1st class so nice and helpful. All in all the staff made our stay perfect. Loved the rooms had nice little extras like coffee pods, good size shower gel and shampoos for use. I would like to acknowledge the gentleman that checked us in so nice and chatty real credit to the hotel.

Not really a negative just an observation or preference, in the room no mirror at the desk unit especially if trying to dry or style hair while seated had to drag chair to larger mirror to plug in my straightners.

Exceptionally helpful and attentive hotel/restaurant staff, with seamless booking . Very good evening meal and breakfast. Comfortable bed with nice warm and powerful shower within a spacious hotel room with a view onto a quiet street, resulting in a great night’s sleep. Apart from comments below would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The seating benches were deep with bolster cushions, leading to having to constantly adjust seating position to stay comfortable. Very much a case of style over substance. There was a leaflet in the room offering 15% discount if you eat in the hotel restaurant. However what was not clear was that this excluded hotel stays on a Saturday :( This however was the only issue with staff apologetic when this was queried. Very much a management decision which staff were left to take the flack for!

The decor throughout the hotel is very chic and clean looking. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast tasty. Coffee maker plus fridge are good extras in the king room. The bathroom was clean and the towels changed daily, good toiletry products in the shower. Shower powerful and hot, with a hand held shower hose as well as a waterfall style overhead shower.

There is no mirror beside a chair or table. You can put make up on over the sink or by standing at the full length mirror. I did move the bedside table to the full length mirror to lay my make up and brushes on. The air conditioning/heating is set at one temperature and can only be changed by the front desk. Ours was set at 20°c which made sleeping difficult the first night. Would be a better idea to be able to move the temperature in the room even if it was over a scale of 5°c ie 17-22°c The glass shelves were a little dusty but that can happen within a day or two with glass.
