What I enjoyed most was the wonderful family atmosphere; it felt quiet, cosy, and was exceptionally clean. The staff were a true highlight—incredibly friendly and helpful, always on hand to assist with requests, from providing drinking water to offering directions. The breakfast was also a real treat, with a delicious variety of options, and the availability of soft drinks, tea, and coffee was a lovely bonus. I'm already looking forward to my next stay.

Frankly, the only thing I didn't like was my own departure. My holiday came to an end too soon, and I was genuinely sad to leave, wishing I could have stayed for longer.

What a great stay. Friendly staff.Smooth check in,we paid at the hotel for parking in a nearby carpark also. Clean comfortable beds. Large shower and fluffy towels,with plenty of toiletries provided,and an option if you'd forgotten anything at reception. Breakfast had enough choices,and was hot and plentiful. Hotel is in a good location.

The only downside for me were the coffee machines...a bit hit and miss,some of the drinks were very weak with little flavour,even trying both machines,then at other times they were ok.

I was very pleased to be offered a high-floor room. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city’s main attractions and shopping areas, and the front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind.

There is a large car park located diagonally opposite the hotel. It would be helpful if clearer instructions were provided on where and how guests can park before check-in. As I was unsure how to park correctly, I had to check in first and then move my car to the designated car park. I was also disappointed that there was no temporary parking available in front of the hotel, as double yellow lines prevented any drop-off.

Comfortable, clean (around the edges of the floor when I had my glasses were a surprise), Bathroom and surfaces in room were very clean, Hot evenings so needed air conditioning on and on the loud side. Have stayed at this hotel many times in different seasons so overall is a great spot for ease of visitng around the city by foot. Plentiful choice for breakfast but very busy and had to queue to be seated. Sat outside the breakfast room at lounge tables which was over 3 days was not the best but doable as it really is a great spot not far from centre of city. I travelled into Queen Street Railway station and took a stroll down to hotel with my luggage and recovering from a hip replacement after an freak accident Highly recommend this hotel and area.

No dislikes (breakfast at a low lounge table was not so convenient but doable)

Wonderful, friendly staff. Great location to explore Glasgow (and the surrounding areas, e.g. Loch Lomond) and use as a 2 night stopover for travelling back from the Highlands.

Heating/temperature control in the rooms was temperamental if it worked at all, but this was a visit in warm weather, so it didn't cause many issues for us. No hotel parking but nearby NCP Glasgow King Street car park can be used (albeit nothing to do with the hotel). Be very careful with paying for the parking at the NCP, though it wasn't clear, and you may easily end up being fined (even when using their NCP app)

My friend had a medical emergency and ended up in hospital all weekend, the staff were amazing with late check in and accommodating. You can order pizza 24/7 Food is exceptional - breakfast and options - SUPERB. Best latte I’ve ever had. They offer free toiletries if you forget something Staff go above and beyond - customer service exceptional. Layout of the room and the bed oh my days … with everything going on the bed was amazing! So comfortable, you can even request to change pillows. Air con in the room- turned off as not needed but loved that they had this as a facility. If you want a lie in and don’t have room service for cleaners you can get extra towels from reception.

Room needed hoovering, glitter everywhere and floor was full of bits. Everywhere else was spotless apart from the floor, walking on the carpet, you got bits in your feet. The room was facing a bar that had loud music until midnight Friday and Saturday, which is not good if you’re on the first floor facing it and want a sleep and can’t sleep with noise. (Not the hotels fault) . Spent most the time in Glasgow hospital and came back to nap in the afternoons but was very noisy. Tv in the room didn’t work, it just didn’t turn on.

First time to Glasgow , went to a gig at the 02 academy, bit stressfull getting parked as we parked in the wrong car park , there are two NCP car parks on the same street which wasn't made clear and in doing so prob got a fine for driving in a bus lane which wasn't clear so if your driving be aware of this before you travel , hotel tho was spot on , really quite , slept really well and a well organised breakfast , around a 15 min walk to the academy and also into city center , Glasgow has allot to offer and the people are fantastic so will definitely return and prob use this hotel again , really cool bar next to the hotel called the Scotia, oldest pub in Glasgow with live music and well stocked with whisky 🥃,with lots of history including been billy Connelly local back in the day ..overall very happy with this hotel

Location. Cleanliness. Quiet.

Breakfast very disappointing. Limited hot options, need more choice eg. hash browns,mushrooms,tomatoes, fried egg. Bacon was very chewy.

Location was top notch. It was a brief walk from the train station (less than 10 mins). I did not have to book a taxi to arrive at the hotel. I just checked the map and chose to walk all of a sudden, I saw myself at the hotel. It was so close and I would love to stay there again on my next visit to Glasgow. Before I forget to mention, I was informed that they have a parking lot for guest. I was informed at the reception. They thought I had driven down to the hotel. Also, the hotel was close to the city centre or rather at the city centre. I walked to some attractions spots, went shoppings at different malls including eatries. All were a walking distance from the hotel (5 mins). Less hassle from transportation.

Less variety (breakfast) of options.

Very good receptionist on arrival—courteous and helpful. Room entry cards worked first go, which they don't always. Room spotless and well-organised. A lot of thought has gone into producing a standardised budget room that has effective basic facilities eg bright reading lights, easy to use clothes storage, pillows of different firmnesses, surfaces that are easily kept clean etc. Absolutely no frills, but nothing really irritating either. Good location a short walk from the city centre and stations.

Room heating is by an air conditioning unit that blasts warm air downwards onto the bed. It worked well to heat the room, but one side of the bed got too hot. Quite noisy, too. Lack of heating in the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate for the price but the serving area was a little cramped and got overcrowded.
