Great location, friendly staff. Very generous in-room amenities and lounge.
I arrived at 1 pm not expecting the room to be ready. I was told there were several rooms available but there would be an early check in fee. I found this very unusual. Generally when checking into a hotel if the room is available it is given straight away. I realise that this is a revenue making exercise but it does not give a very good first impression. It gives a cheap ‘room by the hour’ feeling that had me off guard from the start. It seems strange to me that a hotel that invests so much in generous offerings can be so cheap with something that is so basic and spoils a guest’s first impression.

Already at Hotel extended stay - Hotel was conveniently adjacent within 100m, which i like for its Central Location. Receptionists throughout the visit were exceptional and very helpful. Renovation works on the only lift was ongoing which made the lift availability hit and miss, although on the 5th floor i’m ok with stairs, however other guests were disappointed. Breakfast on 7th floor was typical fare, good selection, however need to be careful you don’t eat too much, but delicious. The best part about Breakfast was the balcony's and the birds eye view of the Glasgow skyline - 180 degree, magnificent. Also had access to the club room which was very good with good snacks and drinks available.
No Tartan Slippers as shown in Photos of Hotel, all else good for me

Location was very good Lounge with drinks included was a great touch Complimentary mini bar and decanters in the room very good
No bottle opener in the room to open the bottles in the mini bar Top sheets stained Room not ready for 3pm so housekeeping still coming in to complete the room while we were in it! Not being told that there were two sittings for the lounge bar...we got in about 7.10pm and were told that it was shutting at 7.30pm...and we couldn't come back in for the second sitting Lighting in the room not great, there were a few lamps but no ceiling light

Complimentary bad and lounge
Lounge lighting was too bright and no outside view to speak of despite the seventh floor location - advertised views over the city were in the restaurant

Once accessed, the lounge area was comfortable and the complementary bar services option was nice.
However, access to the hotel by car was a nightmare. “No available parking” was noted; but no instructions to accessible parking was provided prior to our arrival. Furthermore, we were ticketed and fined £40 for just entering a traffic zone in our attempt to locate the hotel. Again, we were not advised of this restriction and the public signage was inadequate. Comments from other guests confirmed our situation. This created a very negative beginning to our Glasgow visit. Booking.com should provide detailed instructions regarding this limitation and the penalties which might be incurred.

Arrived by train, on arrival raining, Hotel was conveniently adjacent within 100m, which i like for its Central Location. Receptionists throughout the visit were exceptional and very helpful. Only disappointment was no Tartan Slippers (on the webpage photo) only normal White Ones, otherwise all good.

The room was quite nice cute. It was in antique Scottish theme/vibe with some tartan decorations and two pictures of old Glasgow. They decorated the bed with roses and chocolates to celebrate our anniversary - which was very sweet! Fabulous location, right next to Glasgow queen street station. The bed was really comfortable that we fell asleep for almost 9-10 hours. (Maybe we were just very tired though) Staffs were kind! Mini bar in the room was able for free of charge.
There is only sunflower shower and tap for the bath. Maybe it wasn't not enough photo or information on booking.com about bathroom. I saw some hairs in the bath, and on the toilet floor, so I didn't feel its very clean. However, I liked the room and everything was organised in their places. There were no disposal slippers offered, however, we asked at the reception, they delivered to our room with kindness. Also, there was a window in the room but couldn't open it. However air-condition worked well. 😊

Location is fantastic, walkable to all public transport spots, bars, restaurants and all tourist spots, the river etc. Booked the entry level room which is spacious. My room overlooked a central courtyard area so no view but quiet, and natural light. The free minibar is a nice touch, with couple of beers, small wine, mixers/soft drinks and carafe of whisky, gin and vodka. I didnt eat breakfast there but there's a restaurant. Was early, could have paid for early check in, but was happy to store bags for free and have a drink in the adjoining Irish bar!
Nothing really. Rooms are a little dated in decor, but well maintained. Only slightly odd thing was even with all of the lights on the room always felt like the light was dimmed! But I am being far too picky!

The room was well appointed and the bed was the largest we had in our 3 hotels in Scotland. The tube was a bather's dream and for an older guest offered an easy way to have a long relaxing bath. The hotel is just down the street from Queen Street Station and a 15 minute walk from the Central Station and is ideally situated for strolls around the city. Staff was very helpful with directions and the restaurant on the 7th floor has a wonderful view of the city. We had lunch there when we arrived in mid afternoon and breakfast the next morning. Both were very good.
I don't have anything negative to say about the hotel.

The location near the station was perfect for us. We thought the room was very good. The shower-room was really smart and welcoming. We loved the soaps provided and plan to order some for ourselves. The room was spacious and the large bed was very comfortable. We thought the complementary mini bar was a generous provision at the price. In short, we enjoyed our brief stay very much and would certainly stay again when back in Glasgow.
There was nothing we would complain about at this price level. We thought we got better than value for our money with a good location, an excellent restaurant on the roof and all that we needed for our visit.
