Staying in a 300 year old farmhouse out in the beautiful countryside was a plus for us. Our room was nice with a hand basin. Our room also had a private bathroom. There was a separate dining area with access to coffee and tea making facilities, microwave, griller and a small fridge. Our host was friendly. Our breakfasts tasty. A very peaceful place to stay. No road noise! The highlight, a Highland bull calf the host was raising called Hamish.

Normally our host has 3 Highland cows on site. They were unfortunately visiting a bull at another farm. That was our only disappointment not being able to see them.

We all loved it here as it is away from busy towns in the beautiful countryside. It's a 15 minute walk to a beautiful reservoir. The kids could run around outside and play on the swing and learn to climb a rope in the trees, we didn't ever feel like we were intruding or in the way, we felt comfortable. It wasn't quite warm enough but there was a lot of outdoor seating you could use. We stayed in the main building in room 1 which had a double bed and bunk beds for the kids with an en suite walk in shower. Next to the room was the small dining area where you could use the cutlery, plates and bowls etc if you wanted to make your own food. There was also a microwave, a small oven and a fridge to keep your stuff. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast so we just brought our own cereal, croissants then you could leave your dirties on the table and they would put them in their dishwasher. This was great for our needs as we could make our lunch and then heat up dinner which helps if you are on a budget. The best bit though was the baby highland calf which the family were hand rearing, this made our trip being able to stroke it. The whole family were so friendly and we will return. We stayed 3 nights and had a cooked breakfast on the Monday at 8am which was lovely and they put up a birthday banner for my daughter and put out some sweets. Thanks so much, my kids want to come and work with you! We will be back for the next bmx national in Scotland.

We had a lovely evening and overnight stay at Drum Farm. Jess and her son Lucas were really friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Our kids loved running around the fields, swinging on the swings, and playing with Lucas. We loved the secluded location of the place and the stunning views. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we decided to stay in and order a Chinese, which was delivered and was very good. The bedroom was clean, cosy, nicely decorated, and had all that we needed. The bed was comfy, and we had a great night of sleep. Breakfast was fab and set us up foe the day. We would highly recommend Drum Farm to others.

Breakfast was tasty, served to our time, the room comfortable, bathroom clean. Tea, coffee making facilities available in the breakfast area also microwave, toaster and use of plates, utensils etc if you wanted to bring in something for your evening meal, this is definitely a bonus after a long day out, you can relax & not having to worry about driving out for a meal. View from the room down to Carron reservoir absolutely amazing, peaceful such a great place to stay. Jessica couldn’t have been more helpful nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast was included in our price and we could not have asked for more. Farm fresh eggs, sausage and bacon, from local suppliers was a real treat. Amazing farm operated by the lovely Jess, with some support of her family was the highlight stay in our 5 week tour of Scotland. The blockout blinds in the rooms were a real bonus for quiet darkened sleep that we craved at so many other places of accomodation. Would book again if we found ourselves in Scotland again.

If you are visiting Stirling and Falkirk, give B&B Drum Farm serious consideration. It checks all the basics of nice, clean room, tasty breakfast with lots of choices and good showers. What's delightful about it is that it is in a rural area and there are three Highland Cows that live on the property. If you have longed to study Scotland's enchanting bovines up close, this is your chance. There was also a horse and a pony wandering around when we were there. I don't know where they belonged.

our host was amazing and could not do enough to help ..location is amazing if your after peace and quiet and just a chilling experience..you can stroll around the place and look at a few animals or walk to front of the property to view the river etc ..if your after nightlife and excitement its a fair drive back into stirling ...rooms were ok a little small but comfortable..bathroom though is fairly tight ...we stayed in the converted barn side of the property so not sure main house and the barn had a self contained dinning room you could eat in ...a microwave and fridge ...id suggest if you don't feel like going out to eat bring food back from your days journeys to make their ...because it's a 10 minute drive back to supermarkets or a takeaway...golden chippy not to far away was very nice FYI.....but all in all a good stay

got to be honest first impressions mean a lot and driving up to the house and seeing numerous old cars laying around is not a great look ..I would expect to see the odd piece of farm equipment but old broken down cars I was thinking what have I booked here ...maybe shed them somewhere and a bit of a tidy and with your plans going forward it would be an amazing getaway ...anyway personal opinion but like I said generally was a nice stay

We stayed here as a stopover en route to Aberdeen and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful location and views. Jessica was very welcoming and friendly. The room was small but very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We were fortunate to have a warm and sunny evening to enjoy the garden too. Everything we needed was on hand and the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Thank you!

The only slight nit-pick would be lack of tea/coffee in the room, but recognise the size of the room made this impractical and it was available at the breakfast bar just down the corridor so really not a problem.

Unmatched hospitality! This was the perfect place to enjoy a bit of countryside with our two small children. Our two year old especially enjoyed the scenery on the drive in, spotting all the sheep, horses, cows, and goats along the way. We enjoyed meeting the highland cows and taking some great pictures- an experience you would have to pay extra for anywhere else! The breakfast was superb, customized, and offered at our requested time. The owner welcomed us like we were family, and was attentive to our needs and let us to explore the grounds on our own. Highly recommend this stay for an authentic experience.

Room was very dark, small window .couldn't be help .because farm cottages . Felt abit damp in the room . Definitely need a blanket in top of the duvet. .
