The room was great and the staff were first class, cannot rate them highly enougth.

The car parking arrangements are really bad, having to sort out and online app ourselves and the arrangements for a second day unclear, why cab you not book two days?

Very close to the centre, attractions, shops, bars, restaurants, etc. Stunning looking building with very attractive interior. Room and bathroom both large, spotless and very comfortable. Interaction with reception staff was very friendly/attentive to our needs and a very special mention has to be made to the girl/lady who was on duty on the Saturday morning of our departure. Without her perseverance on the phone to secure me a taxi, I would never have made the 10k race that was the purpose of my visit. I didn't catch your name, but you're a star! We didn't eat/drink at the hotel because of our short stay, but would definitely consider doing so in future.

It's not something I would say we didn't like, but we just found the frosted glass panel on the bathroom door a bit strange. Especially, as this allowed a graphic view (albeit obscured) of whoever happened to be seated on the toilet bowl. Who knows, though, this might well be a selling point for prospective kinky guests.

Staff were fabulous and very friendly and great with our dog. Room great size and comfortable. Bathroom very nice. Bed very comfortable Location is great also Nice selection of drinks in room (water and the hot drinks was a lovely touch)

Small things we didn't mention but always worth feeding back-no light over the bed so meant once sun went down was very dark in the room. Also room very warm. Did manage to turn heat down but would be better to have on a constant lower heat. Cold water in bathroom was lukewarm on occasion meaning couldn't use it to fill up water bottles

Exceptional hotel, friendly helpful staff, modern spacious room kept beautifully clean. Quiet nightime location, but close to centre of city with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Great choice for breakfast, with buffet and table service.

Having to pay 10£ a day for parking is extortionate when you have already paid a lot for your room. Having to pay for parking is not mentioned on the booking blurb, it just says 'limited parking is available'.

The room was great, big, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was AMAZING. Well supplied with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and they smelled great. Also a kettle and supplies, hairdryer, ironing board and iron. Stayed for the Bloody Scotland Crime Festival and the location was perfect.

Up a steep hill, then steps into the hotel. Its over 2 floors but the only way to access the second floor is by more stairs. They didnt refil the coffee sachets which was disappointing. Tried to push breakfast but Wetherspoons is just down the road for less than half the price.

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring stirling. Breakfast was excellent, service from staff was great, all very helpful and polite. Onsite parking (even though this was an extra charge). Bedroom was great, large bathroom and room itself roomy and comfortable.

No net curtain on window as room had other building windows looking directly in to our room, feeling like no privacy abd others being able to see in without us knowing, therefore having to close the curtains all the time whilst in the room. No mini fridge in the rooms would have been good to keep water, snacks cool in, etc.

Very nicely updated interior, comfortable room, huge bath. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location super - uphill, but easy enough walk from train; and directly in midst of historic area (just below Holy Rude, Old Jail, and onward to Castle.) super location to wander for food and drinks and shopping.

The room was certainly clean where it mattered most (bedding, bath, towels, main traffic area). We had to pull the nightstand out to connect adapters for charging our devices, and found some rubbish along with dust bunnies. The cleaners pushed the stands back without cleaning that area.

Wonderful location and lovely staff. Easy access to the downtown area and train station. We arrived too early to check in to our room but, fortunately, we had an exceptionally kind, and helpful young, lady who offered to keep our luggage, at no charge, until we could check in. This gave us the opportunity to see the sites, luggage free, and check in at a later time. When the time came to officially check in she was once again very welcoming and personable. The same was true when we checked out. I regret that I don’t remember her name! She represented the hotel with a welcoming attitude and professionalism. More importantly, she personified the Scottish people with a spirit of kindness, caring and warmth.

I wish they would have had laundry facilities.

Great location. Went with family and we were 5 mins walk or less to castle. 5 minutes walk or less to shops and restaurants and around 10-15 minutes walk from bowling. Easy drive as well if ye wanted to use car. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed minus a fridge which would have been handy for the wee ones milk. A travel cot was provided with no hassle at all from hotel when requested at 2 days notice. Staff were great we noticed how polite everyone was. Breakfast was really good. Cold options available in a buffet style and then you can order hot food which comes roasting and was very nice.

Rooms are very warm. There was a fan provided which we should have used but didn’t want to disturb the little one. Hot water was not very hot. Baths had to be topped up with the shower to make it warmer.

The beautiful hotel is centrally located in Sirling and a short walk to anything/anywhere in Stirling. We had tickets for a show in The Albert Halls which was only a 5min walk away. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was a terrific spread. The young man on breakfast duty was charming, as was the receptionist who checked us in. On site car park fees £15 'for 24hrs.

The only reason it didn't get full marks was the lack of a mirror in the actual bedroom to facilitate styling your hair. You cannot plug in a hairdryer or tongs in a shower room.
