Very convenient for travel routes. Clean and a much bigger room than I expected. We arrived tired after 9pm and saw only one towel in the room, I rang reception and asked for another. Despite saying it would be an hour and half (to which I was exasperated- they delivered it in 15 mins!!!) I then found the other towel in the bathroom. (In my defence it was up high - not in easy reach, hidden behind the shower curtain.) I did phone and apologise!! Breakfast was great value - could have been better as they advertise a discount (part of the reason we chose the hotel) but then wouldn’t honour it due to only being allowed during ‘normal kitchen hours’ Well if there was no one in the kitchen, who was making all the breakfasts?????

As above, advertise discount on food ‘all day every day’ but would not honour it.

The room was very clean and comfortable and had everthing we needed.

The air conditioning in the room was working (apparently there was a problem in some of the othe rooms) but it was very noisy, as if there was something wrong with it. The staff were not particularly friendly. We were only given 1 room key which was quite inconvenient as it was needed to get into the building and also to keep the lights / TV working in the room. Nobody asked if we'd like another. We eventually went back and got another but still, with 3 adults you might think we'd want a second key. I booked on booking.com and stated that we would like 3 beds and on checking in was told we had a double and a single and that messages from booking.com do not get through. There was no attempt to correct the issue.

Convenient location from the motorway. Very clean & comfortable.

Having to go to a separate building to check in & finding no one on the reception desk & having to wait for 5 mins & finally having to search them out in the pub (booking in is through reception in the pub) A bell or buzzer would have alerted them to my presence, unfortunately there wasn’t that option.

I was treated like a member of the family by the kind and thoughtful duty manager and by Luke, my server in the restaurant. The duty manager prepared a table specially for me in the quiet area of the restaurant. Later, I saw him sit down with some customers who had a problem with the bill - they left amicably a few minutes later. Luke noticed that I had used my knife with the starter and gave me a new one for the main course. The food was very good.

The literature issued by the Company regarding the 20% discount for 'online bookings' should have been clearer. My understanding was that if the food in the restaurant was ordered on the internet a 20% discount would be given. However, checking the Company's site, the 20% discount only seems to apply to food ordered in the restaurant by customers who had booked their room direct on the Marston's website.

Modern clean and comfortable, with a pub/restaurant next door, it was an ideal stopover on a long journey, although I would find it a little too impersonal for a longer stay. I only saw the staff in the restaurant, including check-in desk but they were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice.

Like so many hotels these days, the bedroom windows had been sealed, in favour of using air conditioning,which was very noisy. Personally, I prefer the choice of fresh air.

The welcome from staff who sorted out room cards and the evening meal we had. The service at both the meal and breakfast was excellent. The food was good value and good quality, especially breakfast. The accessible bathroom/wet room was one of the best I have encountered recently although I couldn’t get the pull down hand rail to work? But, the rest was good.

The only issue I had was that there was a lot of noise from the room above - clearly children running and jumping off furniture - probably unsupervised? I did call reception and someone said they would check the room. It went quiet at 11.30, which was when I was actually going to sleep - so in the end it was all fine. The soap/shampoo in the bathroom was a bit clogged up.

All as advertized. Very handy to be able to have access to te restaurant menus in the room. Really appreaciated to have been given the choice of requesting fresh towels each day or to reuse them for two days and contribute tothe environment.

Was supposed to get free Wifi BUT this required us to log in. And the log in at one point requires one's DOB. This was totally anti user friendly as the box was defaulted to the current day date, no facility to just to type the date in. Only option given was to scroll back day by day. IOW from 06/08/2024 to my day in December 1956. Didn't bother to count how many clciks thsi would take. & too tired to get out of the building and walk to the reception in the other building located across the car park to ask for assistance.

We stayed overnight after a long journey from the north of Scotland. The reception was very efficient, the rooms in an adjacent building that looked a bit soulless but inside were spacious and comfortable and the bed was extremely good. Breakfast was well organised as was the evening meal we had the night before. My wife had an issue with her steak but the manager on duty dealt with it very well and voided her meal after offering alternatives. All the staff we met were very friendly and efficient.

Cost was a little high but there is clearly a lot of demand at this time of year and was broadly in line with alternatives

The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Good size television and nice hot shower with good pressure. We went over to the hotel ( just across the car park) for dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both meals. The staff were friendly and we really enjoyed our stop over after having stayed in bnb’s most of our trip this was actually a really nice relaxing change.

Nothing not to like. Everything was done well and met expectations.

Good location and an excellent sized room. Easy to park as well which can be a hassle at other properties. It’s a no fuss hotel, if you’re looking for something “classier” or more luxurious I’d suggest not booking a hotel that’s just off a motorway

The air conditioning in the room kept coming up with a fault code. Thankfully the road outside was quiet so we could have windows open instead but if it was hotter it would have been an issue. Not an issue I raised with staff to be fair. Food on site isn’t the greatest for taste or value for money but you’re within easy travelling distance to Stirling for other options.
