The Castlecroft bed and breakfast is behind the Stirling Castle, and in sight of the Royal Gardens. It is very easy to get to and has parking. The B&B is run very professionally, and the owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was cook-to-order and marvelous, with homemade breads. The location is excellent and we found getting to and from was easy. You can walk to the castle on the paths through the woods, which was in experience in itself. The town and castle are easy to get to, and our host helped with reservations and directions.

There is very little to complain about, it met all of our expectations and we loved staying here, and would come back.

Laura was a fantastic host..So welcoming i felt right at home. Castlecroft is in an excellent location right next to stirling castle and a short drive from all the local history. The views are stunning!! Our room was so cosy and even though we were too full for breakfast due to our amazing meal at the river house the evening before, Lauras home made toast was amazing!! The lounge area is lovely with a full view of the local area and surrounding scenery..The fire is lit each evening with tea, coffee and biscuits avaialble for guests throughout the day. This is definately a home from home. As this was my first time in Scotland my stay at castlecroft has given a lasting impression. I will certainly be back to visit again in the future.

The host Laura is lovely, she made me feel at home as soon as I arrived but wasn't intrusive. The guest lounge has a beautiful view and the BnB is very close to the castle with great walks around it. Laura makes a beautiful made-to-order breakfast, not sure how she managed to cater for all the guests there as well as checkouts without looking flustered at all. This is a fantastic BnB to stay in if going to the castle or driving through the area with great easy-access parking

A fantastic B and B with a superb host in Laura. Extremely comfortable, very clean and a brilliant location. The lounge was a beautiful added bonus with tea, coffee and treats always available. Breakfast was fab with home made bread. We didn't eat till evening after breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble and Laura ensured we were happy from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We didn't want to leave. If you need somewhere to stay in Stirling you must come here.

There wasn't anything not to like.

The property is fantastically situated under the Stirling Castle, making it a short walk up; there are even views from the sitting room! The rooms were beautifully furnished and prepared for every need! (The choice of hot drinks and complementary sweets were such a personalised touch) The hostess was superb, took the time to learn our names and was attentive to our every need. This is a must stay if you’re in Stirling!

Laura was a wonderful host. The property was very clean and attractive. There was a large sitting room for guests. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We appreciated Laura's helpfulness with directions. We planned to visit the Stirling Castle first thing the next morning. You can walk right up the hill to the castle from the B&B and Laura let us keep our car in the parking lot so that we would not have to pay for parking at the castle. We would definitely come back here.

Was my first stop on my tour through Scotland.The accommodation was very clean, very comfortable, the welcome was very friendly, tea and scones were offered straight away and I would come back anytime. The breakfast was perfect, with a huge selection and freshly prepared. I can definitely recommend this accommodation, the price-performance ratio is top notch.

Castlecroft is a well-run B&B which deserves its high rating on Booking.com and No 1 spot on Tripadvisor for places to stay in Stirling. Host Laura was very warm and welcoming, and offered useful tips to get to town. Our room was clean, cosy and beautifully decorated - loved the wallpaper and floral theme of the decor. The guest lounge boasted the most gorgeous views of Stirling and had thoughtful little touches like a selection of sweet treats and drinks that guests could help themselves to. Breakfast was cooked to order and most delicious!

Location was conveniently close to Stirling Castle but the walk up the steep incline was a little more tiring than expected for someone relatively unfit

Castlecroft has an excellent location with a pleasant walk into the city centre and easy access to the castle. It is close to the main routes into Stirling and easy to find. Laura is a really charming and helpful host. She serves a terrific breakfast with good choice. Her recommendations for places to eat were appreciated. We had our own small patio outside- a lovely feature Parking at the B&B is straightforward and really useful. Soundproofing between rooms was excellent- it was very quiet.

The bathroom in our room was very close to the bottom of the bed with a slightly squeaking door so a bit noisy in the night!

Was absolutely superb!! If i could rate it more than the ten mark I would .I would give it the highest rate ever , will definitely go back 100 per cent as it is the best stay iv ever had in all the bed and breakfast iv stayed in , me and my partner loved every bit of it and was well worth the visit , every bit of it was first class from start to finish couldn’t fault it one bit , morag was lovely and gave us the most warmest welcome ever when we arrived , what a lovely kind hearted woman a wee 🌟 for sure 😁😁
