We have stayed at the allan park Hotel a few times and really enjoyed our stay. This time however was slightly different. In the past when we went for breakfast everything was available from a full Scottish breakfast to eggs Royal and lots of other options but this time it was completely different. There were cereals pastries and scones freely available but the cooked breakfasts had changed. All you could get complimentary with your room was a roll and bacon or sausage or eggs on toast if you wanted a full Scottish breakfast or eggs benedict or Royal even eggs with avocado you had to pay for it .this was not mentioned on the website when we booked. The website states that the price is for bed and breakfast so if you have stayed there before you are expecting to get a full breakfast just like before. Very disappointing.

Nice location, minutes walk from area bakeries, restaurants and bars. Shopping is short walk away. Staff is friendly and helpful. Can easily eat at their restaurant as food was quite good and the place has a charming, cozy feel. Rooms are downstairs in basement area with basically garden view window. They are decorated quite nicely with modern touches and snacks are included.

Bathroom shower trickled out water and at one point stopped dispensing water completely and I had to shut it off and attempt to re-start it all. We were near kitchen facilities so perhaps that was why as it was after dinner rush, but shower facilities definitely lacked in power and oomph. Good for quick rinse, but not for long stay.

The Allan Park was excellent. Perfectly situated in a quiet street on the edge of town. Ample free parking round the back of the hotel with a door straight in to the hotel from the car park. From our initial greeting and throughout our one night stay all the staff were cheerful, friendly and helpful. The bedroom was great. Sizeable and very well appointed. Spotlessly clean. We had a drink in the bar before dinner, where I found a good range of very tasty local beers. The food at both dinner and breakfast was great quality. Very tasty and nice and hot. Again, service was spot on. As really good value for money, I would not hesitate to stay at The Allan Park again and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A really superb hotel in a fantastic location just a 10 minute work from the railway station and a few minutes away from the main high street. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff are a delight to deal with and nothing is too much trouble - including coming out at a very late hour (in freezing conditions) to help me gain access after the rear door had frozen. And the little added extras in the room beat any other hotel I have stayed at - tubs of pringles, chocolate (Tunnocks obviously) and biscuits along with a big bottle of water and all replenished daily at no extra cost. I wouldn't think twice about booking here again!

The only reason I couldn't give a 10 was because of the shower unfortunately. Definitely needs a refresh as there was a bit of a build up of grime on the shower head and the pressure was very hit and miss. Didn't detract from my stay in the slightest though as I was able to still have a hot shower each morning but if the hotel corrects this, they are a definite 10 out of 10 hotel

Very welcoming staff. Our room was below street level, which was great as it was much cooler than the upper floor - and fewer stairs! Room was spacious and tastefully furnished. We had an issue with the toilet, which was swiftly dealt with and back to working order by the time we got back from our walk. Accomodation was only a short walk to the main strip and about 15min walk to Stirling Castle. Breakfast was included which was more than adequate. On site parking was a bonus. Happily recommend.

What a roomy space the Alden Room is! Attractive curving lines, treats ready for hungry travelers, and good parking. Nicely located in Stirling.

The staff is LOVELY, but they need more of them, perhaps? The paint job in our room needs freshening (scuff marks and general wear and tear). We were grateful that Allan Park House provided an air purifier, because the basement location of our room made for a slight musty odor. Our window looked directly into the parking lot (and with the curtains open, people could peer right in).

I booked the hotel for my parents as a surprise for my Dad's 60th birthday. They both said The Allan Park was a little diamond in the sand! Many years visiting Stirling and had never stayed here but will definitely be back as their experience at the hotel was impeccable! Couldn't fault the room, staff or food, all of these things were 10/10! The staff also went over and above to add personal touches as a birthday surprise. Thank you Allan Park, heard nothing but greatness!

This is one of the nicest and friendliest hotels we've stayed in. The location was perfect, the hospitality from all the staff was 10 out of 10, the room was lovely and spotless and the food was outstanding both in the restaurant on the evening and the breakfast in the morning. If we visit Stirling again it'll be the first place we'll look to book and we couldn't recommend it enough. If you do visit we'd highly recommend the Wallace Monument as a tourist attraction, the views are amazing from the top!

The staff were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. Excellent cooked, and continental breakfast as well as coffee drinks were included in the room rate. Complementary water and snacks in the room upon arrival. Very convenient location close to the castle.

Everything was great, except for the shower, which was terrible. Barely enough water pressure to rinse. One of the two mornings we stayed, we were only able to achieve lukewarm water temperature. Another guest, who was staying upstairs had the same problem. I was told this is a known issue and is just a function of the historic older building/plumbing. The showers apparently are better in the downstairs rooms.

Stirling is gorgeous city with a lot of choices when it comes to where to stay, for me though it really doesn't get better than Allan Park. The location is ideal, it's close to Stirling city center and to the castle, but the location is also quiet and there is plenty of parking. The place is so charming, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room itself was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we could have wanted. The whole experience really was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more. We also had dinner there in the evening which was gorgeous and would recommend to anyone staying! Unfortunately we couldn't stay for breakfast, but they gave us bacon rolls and coffees for our travels, which unsurprisingly were also great. It really was an all round lovely experience and we can't wait to stay here again!
