All the staff were exceptional. Room were clean, beds comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Evening meals good choice from menu. Cheesecake was amazing. On last night there were several groups in, so bar and restaurant was very busy, the staff coped really well, Callum dealt with some very rude and demanding customers. He was polite and kept his cool.

Some of furniture was a but tired

The hotel is lovely. I was there nine nights, and it felt like home. Fabulous bathroom: large shower and lots of instant hot water! The restaurant offered diverse dishes. Everything that I had was very good. Best of all were the people (reception, waitstaff, room attendants). They were all lovely and so helpful.

There was nothing that I did not like, It just would be nice to have a lounge area with comfortable chairs in which to relax after dinner, rather than have to retire directly to my room. There is adequate room for this e.g. in lieu of (or adjacent to) the high tables & stools

Lovely hotel. Great location within easy walking distance of Falkirk town centre, but also on many major bus routes. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Storage space for clothes was provided and there was a rather nice TV. Tea / coffee making facilities were provided and replenished every day. Breakfast buffet was provided, offering both cooked (bacon, egg, beans etc.) and cold (cereal, croissants), and was very good. Dinner was available in the evening. At the time of writing, £16 for 2 courses, £20 for 3 courses. A good selection to choose from on the menu, I particularly liked the homemade steak pie and the mini egg cheesecake which were both delicious. Staff were all very friendly and professional, a shout out to Leah, Callum and Ellie who were particularly helpful.

Can't really fault the hotel. If I was nitpicking, maybe some of the furnishings in the room were a little worn / tired-looking, but as I mentioned the room was perfectly clean and comfortable.

The facilities were immaculate and clean and the room was very cosy with the bed being very comfortable allowing for a comfortable night's sleep. Booking a table in the restaurant was easy and straightforward and the prices being very reasonable with a 2 course meal at £16 each and 3 course meal at £20 each with supplements at an extra cost. The Breakfast service was just as good and efficient and very delicious. The staff were very welcoming and friendly making the experience all the more better and the location was convenient for access to Falkirk Town Centre and local attractions like The Helix Park & The Kelpies, The Falkirk Wheel & Callender House & Park.

Nothing.

The bedroom felt big, much helped by the headroom. (We stayed at another hotel before this one where we couldn't stand while taking a shower...) The neighborhood is quiet. Windows open, making it possible to get some fresh air, and the air felt clean! (Due to experience, we have low expectations for hotels in Great Britain. This one was not a Fawlty Towers but one of the better ones, actually.)

As to the bathroom, the water temperature was hard to control (due to the type of taps, one for hot and one for cold) and not stable. The shower head unscrewed itself while showering. There were not enough hooks or bars for towels. There was only one nightstand. The power sockets were few, and there were none by the bed. Beware that there is no AC, not that we ever needed it during our stay.

Easy parking. Very friendly welcome from staff. Room and en-suite were as expected - shower was a good size. Had an evening meal with 2 sons and my granddaughter which was incredible value for money. Granddaughter's meal arrived but was wrong - this was very quickly corrected with profuse apologies from very friendly waiting staff. Adult meals were fine and everyone enjoyed their dinner.

Our room had an "old-fashioned" adjoining door (locked) to the room nexr door, which meant that we did not sleep too well due to the exertions and stamina of the couple next door. Breakfast was ok except for the coffee, which I did not enjoy. Felt the accommodation was a little over-priced.

Amazing how the hotel people went out of their way to make this a nice and comfortable stay for me! I arrived rather late when the hotel restaurant actually did not receive new guests, but since I just checked in for the hotel and did not feel like going into town (in the rain) to find something to eat - they just made that exception just like that and made sure that I could have dinner nonetheless. Same about checking out and leaving my luggage for some more hours throughout the day: not foreseen and actually no existing arrangements, but they just made it work. The breakfast was amazing, too!

Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay our thanks go to them all. The pricing and food quality encouraged us to have our evening meals there on both nights. The food was excellent & priced perfectly as were the drinks. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were small, the shower was excellent, large walk-in shower, good pressure & good heat adjustment. Perfect !! Location of the hotel was perfect too.

Room was No. 74, well it’s not the best room I’ve stayed in due to it was at the side of the hotel dark & no view at all. It was very hot so we hard to leave the ground floor window open at all times. For this reason I feel it was overpriced as I’m sure other rooms would have been better.

Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, the lady in reception and a lady that worked in the restaurant area I think she was called Arlene, they where both particularly accommodating. Also a full vegan menu which is great to see! Tried a few things on it the first night of our stay and it was lovely!

The room was incredibly warm at all times of the day and even worse at night, the windows don't open much (like most hotels) so we had a fan on constantly but it didn't seem to do much. Also there was some really noisey hotel guests at night.. again not the hotels fault.

Easy location to get to with good parking facilities. Only a 10 minute walk into the centre. Staff friendly and welcoming. Good value for the money that was spent. Room included breakfast. If you take the rate of a small double, it is what it says but a very comfortable mattress. You don't need much space if you are only there for the one night

The rooms were not soundproof. You could hear people plugging in electrical into the sockets as if it was in the room.
