We arrived to a lovely welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean. Loved all the little touches eg Molton Brown toiletries to go in the lovely deep bath. The bathroom had a heated floor. The bed was comfortable and huge. The room 109 was decorated beautifully. Coffee and tea available oh and not forgetting the shortbread biscuits. Breakfast was tasty. Good all round stay. Nothing to fault.

Loved the decor of the room. Very romantic. The bed was so comfortable, the best I’ve slept in, in the 5 weeks of our travel. The tea cups in our room were very pretty but so tiny for my partner to get his fingers to hold the handle. The staff were very accommodating in finding a larger suitable mug.
The lift was out of order. There was no where to put the kettle to make a cup of tea. Had to put kettle on the floor. Felt like the room could do with a big rug on the hardwood floors to make it a bit cosier. Even though the staff were pleasant the service was very slow and disorganised. It wasn’t even busy.

This property was a unique stay built to look like a castle of old. It was quiet throughout with a back terrace to enjoy a cocktail from the bar. The rooms were large and the amenities plentiful. The steak pie at the restaurant was delicious. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
Navigating around was a challenge. The halls zig zag around with lots of stairs to go up and down even tho there is an elevator. Keep your bags light! Our room did not feel very cozy as there are hardwood floors with no rugs. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived so I had to have the staff come reclean the floors and remove a dirty towel left behind, which they did in a hurry. The restaurant was a nice option to have after a day of travel but was not very clean. There was a large glob of hair swirling about the center of the floor that remained there for the duration of our stay. Overall it was just an okay property. Cleanliness goes a long way in both directions.

We loved the amazing appearance of the castle driving into the grounds The presentation on entering is warm and gives such a calming aura The staff member on duty was so easy to talk to, she treated us with so much respect and a welcoming smile Very informative and helpful The room was beautiful and very comfortable, everything you needed was there, the only thing missing that would have helped was a hairdryer We had an evening meal at the castle, it was well prepared and the presentation was lovely The restaurant staff were very good, nothing was a bother for them, the young girl looking after us was again so easy to talk to An absolutely lovely night

I stayed here for work, but with the bank holiday approaching, my wife joined me for the trip. While I was out working after checkout, the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing her to remain in the hotel and making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed — despite technically having checked out. Throughout our stay, the service was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. The rooms were excellent — a refreshing change from the usual modern hotel designs — and the food was fantastic, with prices that felt very reasonable. Would definitely stay again without a doubt.

Just about everything. Clean, comfortable, convenient location just off the motorway - this was ideally located to break up our long journey to the north of Scotland. Some nice touches that give the "old-castle-feel", and set it apart from the bland corporate hotel chains - without compromising on comfort. Good value.
Nothing that would prevent us choosing this hotel again. Very minor niggles: Bathroom towels - a little "low rent" Restaurant evening meal - a little underwhelming. Nothing worth complaining about, and for a one-night stay perfectly adequate, but I would probably consider eating elsewhere if stopping for longer.

We liked the surroundings. We were married at Glenskirlie Castle Hotel, exactly a year ago, on the 14th of October, 2023. The staff remembered us, and the chef also made a lovely gesture when we were having our evening meal. The room was perfect. We both had a great night's sleep, and breakfast in the morning was also great, we had plenty of choice, both continental and traditional, were available for us both to choose from. We are definitely hoping to return again for our second anniversary in 2025.

Breakfast was limited we didn't ask for a full breakfast but instead we thought we might have been offered more than one rasher and a very very slim Lorne sausage. Dinner wasn't the best 2 filet steaks not the tastiest we've had with salad which lacked imagination. But our first visit so maybe we expected too much. We might return Thanks Alan Jones

Loved the decor and the staff. Lovely evening meal as well. Honesty of housekeeping and reception staff after discovering that I had left my travel jewellery case and straighteners in our room.
Breakfast was disappointing. Quantity and quality were lacking. First night of our stay was spoiled by a group of 8 immature mature adults, who had been very raucous in the dining room, carried on with their raucousness in one of the group's bedroom, which happened to be opposite ours. I contacted reception to complain and I have to say that the member of staff that dealt with this group, addressed the situation with great tact and had to be admired.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, exceptionally helpful and informative, predominantly the front of house staff, nothing was too much trouble.
The cups in the rooms were very small, I had to refill the cup twice to feel I had had a cup of tea. I thought the breakfast price was a little dear, although my partner and I really enjoyed the full breakfast despite this.
