Absolutely everything. The place felt and smelled clean, the interior was very cozy and welcoming. Debbie the host made all 4 of us feel ‘at home’ instantly. The bedrooms is a good size, very comfortable to sleep in. I personally loved the slippers and bathrobes available in the rooms. Made it feel like a spa. After taking a hot shower in the very cozy bathroom (which both of our rooms had) you can slip into the bathrobe, lay in the bed or perhaps make a cup of tea, hot coco or coffee, then heat a heating pad and BAM, instant and maximum coziness. Don’t get me started on the breakfast. It had all the heart desired. FRESHLY hot cooked eggs, bacon, sausage and grilled tomato. Croissants, a variety of bread, all kind of cereals, some yoghurt and freshly cut strawberries and blueberries. There was juice, coffee and tea of course, and immaculate vibes. Nothing beats Debbie’s place, but SHE is the one making the place a perfect cozy place to stay. Would recommend 10/10. Her sweet and welcoming personality really is the best cherry on the top. Thank you for everything Debbie!!

Comfortable beds, clean room, clean bathroom. Debbie was friendly and welcoming and very helpful especially when my wife took ill on the last evening Breakfast was excellent overall a very good stay and would go there again when next visiting family and friends.

Car park area was a bit restrictive took a couple of attempts before finding good way ro get in and out. Would haveen bit more difficult if had been more guests but my car is on the large side as the driveway was probably designed for smaller cars. But would not detw us from staying again.

Lowefield is a great place to stay, we were visiting the Kelpies and the Falkirk wheel and the location is perfect for these. Debbie is amazing. She suggested places to go and eat. On arrival there were fresh home made scones!. On a night the curtains in the room were pulled and a light on. one night we had home made sponge in the room!. All these little things go over and above what we expected. The Kelpies tour was cancelled so we are coming back and next year and we will be stopping with Debbie again - not even looking for anywhere else. Room and linen was spotless. cannot recommend enough.

We particularly liked the felt greeting on arrival and the offer of home made cakes to have with a tee or coffee when settled into our room. Our room was very comfortable and we had the best nights sleep of all our B&B’s & Hotels. A nightcap was offered and enjoyed before going to bed. The room & private en-suite were very well appointed and left you wanting for nothing. The breakfast was absolutely magnificent, without a doubt the best breakfast during our travels through Scotland. Thank you Debbie for your hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. A 100% , 10/10.

With no exaggeration, we were 100% satisfied with everything, absolutely no complaints or criticisms.

Hostess was very pleasant and helpful; bed was comfortable and parking was fine. Breakfast was extremely good. Room was clean and quiet as was location. Would we stay again - Yes. We stayed here because it was close and convenient to get to the Bo'Ness Railway experience.

Evening meal options are not really available in the village; one has to travel to Larbert (Station Hotel - very good) or Falkirk to get a decent meal. That may be inconvenient for some.

Well located. Beautifully presented. Debbie is an awesome host with buckets of local knowledge to share. We had some great meals and visited some very pretty countryside off her recommendations. Lovely extra touches with cake, shortbread, and fruit mince pies to have with a cuppa. Great selection of breakfast provisions as well as cooked breakfast options. Pip the Jack Russell welcomes all guests as well. Would highly recommend.

Really great place to stay. Very comfortable room with spacious bathroom and excellent breakfast. Debbie made us feel welcome and we appreciated the extra touches such as cake on arrival, whisky nightcap and bath robes provided. Good location for visiting the Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies, Stirling or Edinburgh. Also good central location if you need to have a break when travelling. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice little b&b situated between Edinburgh and Stirling great hospitality and lovely friendly owner of Lowefield. Although sat near the main road we didn’t hear the traffic thanks to the triple glazed windows. The bed was very cosy and the room including the on suite bathroom were immaculate and very clean.

Not much to do in Plean but as b&b is only 30 minutes (driving)from Edinburgh and roughly 10 minutes (driving) it won’t take long to get to the cities.

Debbie is a wonderful hostess. The room was very clean, and the bathroom included thoughtful touches and toiletries. Her home cooked breakfast was excellent with a full offering. She also had available to us snacks and welcome goodies in the room. Debbie went beyond what I would expect from any B and B and drove us to the nearest train station the morning of our departure. Great value and excellent place to stay.

Debbie came out to greet us as we arrived. From then on she was always friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and consisted of high quality ingredients. Our dog was made very welcome too. We would not hesitate to recommend Lowefield B&B. We would stay again if ever in the area.
