The choice at breakfast was very good, a cooked breakfast was cooked freshly for each guest. We ate three times in the restaurant and again the food was cooked fresh and always came out steaming hot and tasted lovely. The hotel is also central to Alloa, Stirling, the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies

The hotel could do with a little updating in some areas but this did not detract from our stay. There are lovely comfortable settees in the entrance hall. A welcoming bar and restaurant and the staff are very helpful, especially the lady serving us breakfast, unfortunately I didnt get her name. The gardens are lovely with lots of seating.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, grounds are well kept. The style of the hotel is older and the owner has done a fab job adding some lovely accessories which tie in nicely with this. Log burner in front room which is such a lovely touch, and so welcoming and cozy in autumn nights! There is a bar which we didnt use but looked nice. When we arrived a staff member greeted us and offered to help with our bags, check in was smooth and our room was ready for our arrival. The room was a little dated but very classy; Room was clean and the bed was very comfy! We only stayed for a night and breakfast in the morning was included with the room, the breakfast was really nice and the room they serve it in is lovely. Great service from all staff members!

Road leading upto hotel has lots of potholes and could do with being fixed, driving up during the day is managable but need to be careful!

Staff were lovely ,friendly and professional building has loads of character in a fantastic setting.

Our room (room 1) and bathroom maybe could do with a bit of modernising I understand this is a listed building so this would probably be easier said than done.Building would benefit from a bit of general maintenance like cleaning windows and car park lights not working.But we think generally the hotel has charm and character as it is.

What a Little gem 💎 this hotel was everything they said it was beautiful amazing staff awesome log fires 🔥 fabulous food and drink breakfast just fab great views from superb room Christmas feel welcoming lovely dunmar house hotel with amazing tradition feeling also has entertainment on that you can buy tickets for also do weddings etc well worth a view near golf course Stirling castle would Diffenty be returning in future

To be honest this is a great hotel nothing to dislike family run management and staff all amazing

Breakfast was very good. Toaster fast. Cereal selection quite good. The full breakfast was a generous size and I felt full for hours. The poached eggs were done very well. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. A relaxed atmosphere.

Its an old property that has some nice corners and features. The decor is a bit tired in places and would probably cost a fortune to raise it uniformly, but I guess thats why the price is so attractive. Mostly I found it comfortable

The external property is stunning, so picturesque and lovely grounds, the room was a great size and really happy dogs could stay too. The breakfast was unbelievable, really speedy and good quality!

The property is a bit outdated, and sadly the bathroom in our room had a huge patch of black mould growing on the ceiling, and mould around the shower seals too. The bed also made a lot of noise when you laid down or rolled over, it was comfy but difficult to sleep with the noise. And the walls also appear to be very thin, our neighbours came back early hours and we could hear every word they said in their room and heard everything from the bathroom, toilets flushing, taps on etc, quite hard to sleep through the noise.

It was an overnight stay...We were upgraded to a bigger room/suite than I expected which was okay, well appointed, quiet and comfortable. We dined there in the evening and it was a really good meal also breakfast in the morning was very nice.... I would recommend this place and dining here....and would use it again when in this area...

I loved my 6 nights at Dunmore. Lauren Maggie Sarah and Samantha were wonderful. Lauren helped me with my heavy suitcase 🙏 , made me a meal and brought it to my room after I arrived there late, exhausted and hungry after 12 hours travelling....such kindness. I loved chatting to the girls at breakfast. The Hotel is gorgeous ... my beautiful room was spotless ... even decaf coffee supplied ... big comfy bed....lovely chairs...soft fluffy towels, huge bathroom and bath with a view of the squirrels playing in the gardens☺️. The breakfasts were delicious. I did not want to leave and I still miss them all and that beautiful place. Thankyou all ..it was a joy. 🥰

lovely little old hotel with a beautiful garden. welcoming staff, fantastic breakfast and comfy bed. secure parking with lots of spaces.

it’s a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint here and there, but nothing that could spoil the stay.

The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing was too much for them. Food at dinner and breakfast was very good. The grounds are very well kept.

The hotel is in need of a renovation. There's clearly a need for the roof to be replaced as there is an awful lot of paint peeling off the walls up above. It's a shame as it's a beautiful old building. I would be happy to stay there again as the staff and food outweigh the bits that are in need of attention
