Spacious, clean and comfortable. Have stayed here a few times and always a lovely stay. Rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable and rooms are dark for sleeping which is great if you are a light sleeper.

Nothing negative to say about the hotel in general. Wish there was more alternative milk options to have with the breakfasts but that's a personal choice due to being lactose intolerant and cannot stomach soy milk. In my room the lighting wasn't the greatest for getting ready, the lamp had a warm light and made getting ready a little difficult but made it work in the end.

Location, excellent for our stay, hotel staff were very friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. The room was as per our request Ona higher level to mitigate against any street noise. The room was clean, beds comfy, shower good. Liked the tea coffee in the room. Liked that there was air con so that the temperature was in our control, availability of ironing board, safe,was great. Towels nice and fluffy. One Free drink nice welcoming touch.Liked that you couldn’t get beyond reception without using card to provide security/ felt safe.

The only criticism would be that although plentiful, the food at breakfast was not very warm. No muesli, and would prefer individual yoghurt rather than a large bowl.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton by Hilton. The room was really nice and very clean. There was everything there we needed. Ironing board, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was perfect!. Good towels, and plenty of them, shower gel etc. Good sized shower. Bed comfortable, lighting right. Huge tv, we had problems working out how to use the remote for the tv, but I put that down to our age! The staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast was out of this world.! There was everything there one could have wanted. A good selection for a continental breakfast, or a hot Scottish breafast, including haggis! Croissants and pain au chocolat. Lots of friendly staff on duty for breaky. We will be staying here again next time we are in Glasgow, one of the best hotels we have stayed in, in the city....and 12pm checkout! We found this hotel great value for money. Thank you for a great stay!

Perhaps info on how to work the remote controls for elderly people. I understand most people will know how they work, but we always have problems in this area.

location was excellent, right in the heart of the centre, check in was easy and lovely team member greeted us, checked us in and explained everthing really well. Great that there were veggie sausages available without having to ask for them to be cooked especially

The food wasnt great at breakfast - pretty cold on both mornings and the hashbrowns could be better quality - most of them had black specks running through them - could do with some mushrooms please. There was also a gathering of staff in or around the kitchen area instead of being out and about on breakfast maybe cleaning up, clearing the tables for next guest etc so maybe avoiding the 4/5 team members having a chat for all to see

Reception staff very helpful. Knowledgable about area. Bus numbers and routes. Sorting out the carpark fee was made much easier by paying hotel rather than using a voucher at pay station. Breakfast was morethan adequate

Stayed here before and room spotless. Bit disapointed to see scuff marks on wall and water marks on walls wheresomething had been spilt. Juice spill on floor in breakfast area. Next day floor super sticky and squeky as folk walking. Know these are small oversights. But stayed with hilton by Hampton on many occassions first time experiencing lapses

Well maintained hotel. Bathroom fittings looked almost new and the room was serviced daily and very clean. Buffet breakfast more than adequate. We had Room 304 which is a 3rd floor rear facing room. Natural lighting not brilliant but the room was very quiet. Wi-fi worked well. Join Hilton Honours (free of charge) and you can check in much earlier than 3pm - a no brainer! Good location about 10 mins walk from Glasgow Central Station (exit station to Gordon Road and then up Renfield Street and left Bath Street).

Minor point only - the shower was weak.

My stay at the hotel was great! The breakfast spread was delicious and offered various options, including fresh fruits, baked goods, and Scottish breakfast with haggis. The room was nicely designed, with a big bathroom and huge TV, providing ultimate comfort, and the central location made exploring the city so convenient.

While my stay was enjoyable overall, the room's cleanliness could have been improved. I noticed big chunks of hair on the carpet, which was disappointing considering the hotel's otherwise high standard. It’s a detail that, if addressed, would make the experience perfect.

Location was ideal - short walk to the main shopping areas with lots of choices of cafes bars and restaurants. Our room was perfectly clean, and our twin beds were SO comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. Although it was quite small, our room had everything we needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. We were grateful for the availability of a cup of tea on the house while waiting for our room.

The entrance, bar, and dining areas are clean but tired. Not much choice of wine. Breakfast was just okay with a choice of English or cereal.

Great hotel, 15 mins walk from Queen Street train station. Very reasonably priced with great amenities. Rooms were large with good-sized and comfortable single beds. The room has an iron, iron board, and hairdryer along with tea and coffee, which was easily replenished at reception. The hotel has a bar on site, which was well stocked and reasonably priced. Breakfast in the morning ran from 6 - 11 am with a good variety of hot food, cereal, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning soon.

Not that it was a problem for us, just to make people aware that the hotel does sit on a hill and may not suit anyone with mobility issues.

Easy to find, out side in the street could have been cleaner, a pile of cigarette buts lay on the door step for the duration of our stay. Staff were helpful with directions etc and accommodating for keeping baggage and late check out. No view from room at all. Breakfast was good, enough of a selection.

Hotel has a very express feeling on arrival, a more welcoming reception/public area would be nice and not beside the breakfast area. Lots convenient location to bus and train station and shopping area.
