Bed very comfortable. Staff friendly. Food good, especially breakfast.

Missing some drawers for clothes. We felt as though we were living out of our suitcase.

everything was absolutely good, from the location to the staff to the food, infact the front desk Manager Chiara and the whole team was very kind and helpful towards any and all requests made by us during our stay there.

the Leisure club staff was highly UNPROFESSIONAL and rather RUDE, closing time was at 10 PM but the night staff can always come on head/face even inside the STEAM/SAUNA room anytime after 9:40 PM and can turn off the lights and system and can open the door, despite of requests..... as if that's some sort of ARMY CAMP, precisely guy named IAN.

Obviously, predominantly, a business hotel but nonetheless, we enjoyed our two-night stay as tourists. The location is good,; just a short walk to the centre of the city. Staff were friendly and efficient and the facilities included a pool and sauna which we didn’t have time to use. The included breakfast was amazing! We had been on the road for a couple of weeks and this was by far the freshest and best quality offering! Especially enjoyed the haggis and black pudding! Car parking was quick and easy.

Interior of the hotel is a bit gloomy. Bit of noise from the major construction works outside. No coffee in the room.

Our stay at the Marriott was splendid. The hotel is close to the centre but not directly in the centre. Best of both worlds. Close to all local transport, bus (stop outside hotel), national rail with two stations within walking distance, Scot rail local rail link less than 5 minutes from hotel, taxis and Glasgow underground. A number of local attractions are walking distances. We travelled to Glasgow for the Celt Connection festival and found the local public transport excellent to use and very well priced. The hotel was an outstanding choice for us. All aspects of the hotel were very good, cleanliness, room, breakfast, spa and pool, bar and restaurant. The staff very very attentive, helpful and friendly. Member's of staff such as Adi in the breakfast and bar area set a great standard that she and the rest of the staff maintained to make our stay exceptional. The Celtic Connections is a superb celebration of Scottish culture. We will return to the Marriott if we attend the Celtic Connection in 2026.

We stayed for 3 nights. It was a lovely hotel with really friendly staff. From the reception team to the cleaners, everyone was attentive. The hotel itself is in a great location, only a short walk to the centre or to the Hydro. We were given a complimentary drink voucher on arrival which was a nice touch. We went for a swim/sauna on the 2nd day and felt really relaxed afterwards - which was needed. We did have a few bites to eat in the bar area which is lovely and the Starbucks coffee is a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

We found a few holes in the bedding, a pillowcase and a towel - all clean. This didn’t bother me as I know it was probably the tumble dryer, but might bother others.

The reception staff were very welcoming on arrival and all other staff were always pleasant and helpful. The room was large and modern. A couple of issues we had were resolved immediately. Location was perfect for walking into the city centre. Hotel was really clean and maintenance men were constantly touching up paint work. Great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast with very polite staff, ladies on the egg station were lovely and made a mean omelette.

The mattress was very firm but we asked for a 2nd mattress topper and that helped loads. The pillows were far too soft ( not in a good way) to our liking. Only one chair in the room when there was room for 2. The room temp was very warm so we had air con on a few times which in Scotland at the start of March was weird!

The room was clean quiet and comfortable. It had a decent chair to sit in and the bathroom facilities were great! A really good quality shower gel shampoo and conditioner in a convenient pump dispenser in the shower. The carpet was really nice underfoot and the bed was really comfortable too. The bedding was soft and fresh and the pillows were the perfect softness. The bar was great. It had Guinness on tap and the bar staff knew how to pour the perfect pint. In my package breakfast we included. A fresh omelette was cooked in front of me to my liking. I had a great experience and will be staying there on future trips to Glasgow. I signed up for their membership which will entitle me to great deals in the future.

We came here for my husbands birthday, and its been exceptional. We were left a beautiful birthday card from all the staff, 4 bottles of beer on ice, and beautiful scottish chocolate (which we both thought was so yum), the thought and care, we were blown away. The staff were absolutely outstanding, very attentive, from the front desk staff, the bar staff, restaurant staff, housekeeping, everything and everyone was so polite and friendly and just made us feel so welcome and at ease! The food was 10/10. Brilliant quality and so tasty!! The cocktails i had were delicious, i would have drank them on tap if i could have! And the room was beautiful. So clean, lovely views, decor was just right, nice and modern. The whole hotel is so pretty and just a delight to be in! Also the swimming pool is fab! Like a maze to get there, but we got there eventually haha. The leisure staff were lovely and keen to show us where and what to do! I will 100000 percent be coming back for my 30th!!! Hats off to everyone who wirks there. Doing a damn fine job!!

We loved everything!

Rooms v comfy, nice touch with fridge, ironing board etc. Excellent breakfast. Bar area/lobby space v nice for drinks.. Check in staff and breakfast hosts were excellent-nothing too much trouble..

Bar experience in the afternoon was ok. Loads of staff (5 or 6), only a few customers yet took ages to get served. Could be that bar was v busy before we arrived and staff were catching breath. Bar was a riot - dirty glasses piled up stuff all over the bar and backbar (cocktail shakers, ingredients) etc. Waited too long for a drink, staff did not acknowledge waiting custers as were head down in paperwork. Leisure facilities dated but still absolutely functional and really enjoyed swim/sauna etc.

We love staying in the Marriott. The facilities are excellent and the food is great too. It is very handy for going to the OVO and the other venues for a show.

Another couple walked straight into our room while my wife and I were getting changed to go down to the pool and sauna. They had been allocated the same room in error. This made us feel very uncomfortable. It was rectified and we were given chocolates and wine as compensation. We also had to wait ages on our meal in the bar and had to forgo the dessert course or we would have missed the start of our show. In saying all of this we still love staying there and will return in the near future
