The stay during the first two days was very pleasant. • Smooth and punctual check-in at exactly 3 PM. • The hotel felt safe and secure. • Great location: right across from a supermarket and within walking distance to cafés, restaurants, shops, and major attractions. • Family-friendly with elevator access and overall good facilities. • The reception team helped us arrange a driver to Edinburgh, which was greatly appreciated.
Card payment only, and a £100 deposit required per room. • Luggage service was unreliable: the porter was not available when we arrived, so we had to carry our bags ourselves, and he was also absent during our early check-out before 10 AM. • On our final day (June 6), the check-out experience was disappointing due to the attitude of the receptionist. The second room was still not ready by 3 PM, and when I politely asked when it would be available, she replied bluntly with “I don’t know,” without looking at me or offering any apology. She simply placed the key card on the desk while staring at her computer. • This poor interaction on the last day left a bad impression and, unfortunately, would make us think twice before staying again.

Because of a train delay I got to the hotel much later than planned. After 2am in fact. Despite this I was quickly admitted to the hotel and warmly greeted despite the unsociable time. They explained a slightly complicated lift function to my tired brain and remained smiling. I was delighted with the room. It has a great view over the station and complimentary hot chocolate, as well as tea and coffee options. There was a great array of hot and cold choices at breakfast and perfectly prepared porridge.
I do not consume nestle products, because of the poor ethics of the company in many parts of the world and this was the only option for the coffee machine, which is also nestle branded. I hate to split a hair, but since prompted.

I think the biggest hotel room in my life. :) Room was clean and tastefully furnished, and the bed was comfy and clean! Great customer service at the reception: heating didn't work so I had to report the malfunction almost every day. Reception staff were kind and quickly solved the issue, the janitor fixed it in 10 minutes. Even though, I didn't like reporting it every day, I was very satisfied with the manner and solution. Breakfast is very good – you have everything you need, although it’s a bit pricey and the breakfast area isn’t particularly clean.
There was no power outlet in the bathroom, so I had to plug the hairdryer in the room and hold the cable so it is long enough to dry my hair in the bathroom - complicated but I like challenges. As I said, breakfast is good, but please clean the breakfast area regularly. I had to change table because the chair was too dirty, then had to ask for another coffee because the mug was dirty...

The location was excellent — right in the city centre yet still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. We were able to walk everywhere without needing public transport, which was very convenient. The lovely welcome card was a thoughtful touch. The Nespresso machine and tea pot were nice touches and much appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the availability of different pillow types was a thoughtful detail. The breakfast spread was generous and a great way to start the day.
It was a bit disappointing that the fitness centre and pool weren’t available during our stay. Nespresso capsules weren’t replenished automatically and had to be requested — and even then, the wrong ones were brought. We also noticed that some supplies, like the sweet treats, weren’t restocked consistently — they appeared on some days but not others. While not a major issue, it was something we observed. As we stayed for four nights, the breakfast spread began to feel a little repetitive and could have benefited from more variety.

The location was excellent; the hotel was easy to get to/from Glasgow airport (No 500 bus) and was within 5 mins walk of main shops/attractions. The hotel is very modern and although I received info that there was ongoing renovation we didn't see/hear anything. The Room was large, clean, and very comfortable. Although the area felt safe, it was a little lively (but not rowdy), with a few bars on the corner, but the soundproofing did a decent job of screening any noise. Have seen lots of reviews about problems with the TV, but we had no such problems. The Large TV in the room worked perfectly, had a great picture, and we were able to 'cast' TV problems from my phone with ease. Breakfast was great - a good selection of hot and cold options available (but the same served everyday).
The bed was 2 singles pushed together, but was mostly large and comfortable. The air con occasionally seemed to turn itself off in the night (so was a little hot), but mostly did the job. There wasn't anything else I didn't like. My first trip to Glasgow, and the hotel had everything I needed. Would recommend to anyone visiting Glasgow.

Radisson Blu is a large and modern hotel well located near Central Station in Glasgow. The immediate area exhibits pockets of homeless people yet conversely streets of luxury shopping. It is a safe location and close to several family related activities. The room was very large and comfortable with air conditioning and lifts. It is also very quiet. The ensuite is also quite large with an excellent walk in shower. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The television is too small for this type of hotel and does not provide or support streaming services. The TV channels often pixelated which is unsatisfactory. The breakfast was plentiful and varied particularly with healthy fruit options. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Television small size and no streaming options

Thank you so much for an excellent stay. The room was perfect and everything you could possibly need provided. Stacey at reception was amazing. It was vey busy when we arrived but she was warm , efficient and made sure we had adjoining rooms adding to the quality of our stay. Throughout our stay she couldn’t be more helpful and made our stay perfect

Great location. Modern and comfortable hotel. Fantastic staff who could not do enough to ensure we had a great stay. Really they deserve praise as they helped us greatly. Terrific service. Above and beyond. Amazing breakfast. Probably best I’ve ever had in a hotel in the UK. Room was exceptionally spacious. Clean with lovely comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facility plus Tunnochs caramel wafers! Lovely touch. Bar was bright spacious and again supper service. Great cocktails and bar snacks and meals available. We loved staying at The Radison Blu.
Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer!

Family room with bunks. Perfect for 2 night stay. Staff were on it! We arrived late at night after midnight on train. Short walk to the hotel and the staff knew who we were and what we needed had the room ready to go. Very quick. We hadn’t booked breakfast but were advised cheaper (£12pp) to let them know the night before. Vs (£17) in the morning. Kids eat free. Breakfast was a small but solid selection and perfect for getting going.we were able to get GF toast and fried eggs off menu, porridge etc. fresh squeezed orange juice was a lovely touch as well as the smoothies. 9am on weekends seems to be peak time and rather busy but we always got a table and staff were able to keep refresh up. We had day trips planned to arran and Edinburgh so this made the start to the day easy. Honestly we felt very welcomed and small touches like room refresh and new water replaced daily made a world of difference. There js a fridge in the room - which these days isn’t a given and makes the world of difference when travelling with children. We have stayed in a lot of the hotels in Glasgow and can safely say this experience will have us coming back over other hotels that are nearby.

Decor was lovely and the whole hotel clean and welcoming. Comfy bed and good facilities in the rooms. Shower spacious and good power. The ice machine near the lifts was great to have. Breakfast was fantastic with so many options and great quality of food, the best breakfast I've had out of the many hotels I've stayed in glasgow.
We opened the curtains in our room and there was a wooden panelling covering the huge window so we had no view at all as we couldn't see out the window. The TV didn't have netflix and only a few free view channels which I found unusual for such a modern hotel.
