really liked the stylish and modern vibe of the property, it felt fun and fresh from the moment we walked in. The location was super convenient for exploring the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Bonus points for having a nice restaurant on-site that serves food until 9pm ,really convenient after a long day out.
The water pressure in the shower was quite low with no option to adjust it, and the temperature fluctuated frequently between hot and cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Unexpectedly, I've made several trips to Glasgow this year and stayed at this Ibis every time. Overall, people are either professional/neutral or really friendly (only 1 negative experience on one trip, clearly the exception). The hotel is dependable: comfortable beds, clean, decent breakfast and restaurant in general. Also, unlike some other hotels, you have real light in the rooms! Great location too.
I've had 2 rooms that the deadbolt didn't work, 1 broken hairdrier and twice zero soap in the shower. But each time the staff have apologised and been quick to fix the issue. So I have no complaint really other than you do need to check the room on arrival!

Really liked that the room was cozy and had everything I needed for my stay. Didn't opt for breakfast but the coffee&tea complementaries were great for slow&quiet morning vibes. For my anxiety and sensory overwhelm this option to recharge in peace was amazing to have!
There aren't really any things I didn't like...I couldn't figure out how to keep the thermostat to a temperature I preferred, but that wasn't a dealbreaker at all, fatigue amplifies the cold sensation for me and i just layered up a bit during the day and otherwise nested cozily under the thick warm duvet

Ideal location, right in the centre of Glasgow, just a short 5 minute walk to Glasgow Central Station. The room has a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. Great for friends or couples spending a night or more out in Glasgow.
Not much to fault with this hotel, but I noticed that the walls in the rooms are covered in scrapes and marks. There could also be more amenities provided like toothpaste and bars of soap.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location—perfect for exploring Glasgow. The double room was cosy with a nice view of the surrounding buildings. The property is well stocked, clean, and well maintained. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and quality.
Parking can be a challenge. Street parking on Waterloo Street is expensive (£2 every 15 minutes, max 2 hours), though it’s free overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. If you’re staying after a night out, be sure to move your car before 8 a.m. to avoid a fine—or check out early. Alternatively, consider using the nearby Q-Park, just a short walk away

Great restaurant/bar/seating area downstairs. Good food and drink options. The rooms were a good size with nice lighting and big bathroom. Free water available in lobby. Walking distance to train station. Overall good value for the price compared to other options in the city.
Bed linens were lower quality/not very soft but not a major issue. Location in a spot with other hotels, so very quiet at night when walking back. Housekeeping insisted on coming in even when we said multiple times we didn’t need it (we appreciated the sentiment but would have been fine without it).

My sister and I came to this hotel for a single-night stay as we had a concert that night. The whole place is themed around music, interior design is beyond gorgeous. The bedroom we had was spacious enough for the two of us, perfectly clean with comfortable beds and pretty much everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made sure that we knew if we needed anything that they were all readily available to help out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, the location is great and not particularly far from anything!
There is nothing negative I have to say about this hotel.

Second time we’ve stayed here on work purposes. A really nice clean sociable place to be based while visiting Glasgow great central location for bars restaurants and exploring this amazing city. There is a fabulous bar area and café area. A pool table and lots of sociable seating. I love The references to modern music that the place is styled with. There is a lovely breakfast set up in the morning. Staff are super friendly and helpful. We needed to go to the airport in the morning and the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel. You can get the number 500 to the airport Very easily from here
Nothing really to complain about, would be nice to have some water in the rooms maybe a couple more things in the bathroom to make the stay more comfortable but I do understand this is probably reflected in the price of the accommodation. Everything was very clean and efficient..

My son and I stayed here for a night to attend an event at The Ovo Hydro. We were going to see a band, so the style of this hotel seemed perfect to book for the night. Stepping into the hotel, we were immediately impressed with the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the decor, soundproof rooms to be able to have a good nights sleep. We were given a room on the first floor, facing the main road. Not that you'd know from inside. Personally, I have stayed in many hotels in Glasgow for various reasons. This is the one I will keep coming back to. It was a lovely 10-15 min walk from Glasgow Central train station. 5 min taxi ride to the OVO. Thank you so much to the team for making my (Audhdh) sons first concert and hotel experience a little more special. He was just a little gutted he didn't get to sleep in the Tardis room. We'll look forward to seeing you again
Menu choices were quite limited. We are simple foodies. The pizza was delicious. Even better that there was a gluten-free option for myself.

I enjoyed my stay here. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff pleasant. The room is not large, but fine for a solo stay. I found the bed very comfortable, and the shower was instantly hot and high pressure. I also appreciated the tea + coffee making facilities in the room. I had breakfast one day, and it was a great selection, and not too badly priced. I also liked the voucher for a free drink in the bar when I opted out of room-cleaning one day. The Q-Park opposite was convenient for parking, and then it's just a short walk to the city centre, so the location is good.
Nothing much- I guess my first floor room was at street level on the back of the hotel, so people walking past the window was a little odd... but most other rooms would be fine.
