Breakfast was served in the morning to my door and was pretty good. Continental style with some cold foods in the room fridge already so check there when the plate of granola and breads arrive if you want yogurt or butter. Location right next to the cathedral made it convenient for site seeing, including being right by a hop on hop off stop. Restaurant downstairs was excellent.

I did not have any ghost activity, though a friend might have. We were on different floors. Due to temperatures had to sleep with the windows open and there is traffic outside since the hotel is over. Restaurant.

Stunning location beautiful bath & e

The staff at restaurant were lovely but the possible manager needs to watch facial expressions when she’s not happy with a request. We were a little bit early ordered a drink girl was lovely said they’d try get room ready a bit sharper but we were happy have a drink & wait, she was lovely but could tell her boss was none to happy when she asked otherwise the place was just lovely & would visit again to stay we had spoke about eating there but decided not too after the bosses reaction so missed revenue as we were meeting others & decided meet them elsewhere instead. Can’t fault the other staff, friendly, polite coulfnt do enough for you

Lovely cosy room. Nicely styled with modern bathroom with walk in shower, very clean. Ground coffee was nice and little touches with fruit/vermouth. The bed was very comfortable. Quick response when we had a question for the owner. View across to the Necropolis and East across the city. Some road noise with the window open but unavoidable in a city centre location.

Nothing to complain about really. The buidling is quite old and has quirks you would expect - spiral staircase (which may be a little difficult for people with limited mobility), narrow door and some creaky floorboards. Not a problem for us, though as it added to the charm. The fan provided was very helpful for a warm night but a little noisy. Shame we stayed on a day the restaurant wasn't open - we would have loved to try it.

The room was spotless. There had been a lot of thought in the design and comfort of the room. There were unusual features about the setup including access and trust which we liked, although it could feasibly be abused by other clients. The location was full of character with the cathedral and necropolis next door. The room was cosy (wee bit cramped) but was efficiently laid out. The windows could be opened which was a hit with my other half who likes fresh air. The breakfast was not cooked, however it lived up to the perceived standard of the restaurant in that the fare seemed freshly baked and prepared with the finest of home made ingredients. The icing on the cake was the included taster of vermouth.

Lack of shelf in the bathroom for toiletries.

We stayed in the top rooms during our visit and had a beautiful view over the Necropolis and city. The room had tea, coffee and fruit on arrival and there was toiletries should you prefer to travel light. In room hairdryer and a small mirror were available as well as a TV if you need this, I cannot comment on what channels it provides. The bed was spacious and very comfortable with extra pillows and a throw which was useful due to the heat in the room as the space was very cosy for February. Breakfast was a great little collection of treats to start the day. listings of foods would be appreciated however an otherwise delicious collection. The room though described as small was still a great size with a large bed and dressing table large enough to double as a work space. Great mix of things to make the overnight more comfortable and only a short walk from the city centre and local amenities.

Nothing to not like, few minor fixes needed such as damaged wardrobe door that wouldn't close and a damp smell in the bathroom due to poor ventilation. The only things I would have appreciated are, a note on what was on our breakfast tray, a slightly bigger mirror on the desk or a tall mirror in the natural light for getting ready as bathroom lighting is rarely forgiving. However these are more wants than needs and the space was still great.

Well we have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about our stay. Loved every thing. The room was in attic . Large very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Warm and cosy. On arrival we had fresh fruit, milk, yogurt, cheese and water waiting on us. Iron, ironing board, clean towels. Kettle etc and cafetiere coffee. Beautiful view out of attic window of the Glasgow Necropolis and The provans lordship. (Oldest house in Glasgow) It's very much a self sufficient 'stay' with regards to online check in. Code for key pad to get in etc. Mobile number is given in the event you should require any help or advice from owner. Our room was up a couple of flights of stairs which wasn't an issue at all for us but may be to others. (no lifts ) We walked around the area. The beautiful Glasgow Cathedral is also across the road . A 5 min walk will take you to a large supermarket and fish and chip shop. **(There is an Italian restaurant on ground floor of the building) ** We were greeted this morning with a lovely wee breakfast on a tray table with beautiful granola, sour dough bread and cake outside our door.

Nothing.

Just there for the night for a special occasion, not a big trip as we come from a town around Glasgow! But anyways we got treated to a lovely room upgrade to room 2 and it was delightfully comfy with a fantastically spacious bathroom with a decent view. Not much contact with the staff but the few interactions were positive! Just loved the vibe with the old Victorian building next to the Necropolis

I wasn't feeling too well for the stay otherwise I could've properly enjoyed it! Nothing wrong with our stay though from the hotel's perspective

A clean, cosy room up on the top floor with a fully modern bathroom with rain shower. Very quiet rooms for it being above/adjacent the restaurant. A special entrance next to the restaurant makes for a easy access. The cathedral and surroundings are just across the street and stunning, plenty to do there. Also close enough to the city centre to go there for a walk and a bite.

A small design issue made you could not stand in the rain shower without having a fancy old, but boiling hot faucet pressed against you, should have made the rain shower arm extend some more. The top floor can only be reached by pretty steep stairs, but to be fair that is as advertised.

Comfy beds, great shower with beautiful toiletries and a lovely breakfast (personally I love the comfort of having it delivered to your room to have at your leisure). Fab views from the room of the necropolis. Great correspondence over email for check-in, which was very easy. I had lunch in the restaurant and popped down for a drink at the bar before heading out and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Overall just a really comfortable stay - felt right at home!

Nothing!

The room was beautiful, the location was ideal for heading into town (and in general wandering around Glasgow). I stayed in the top room which had unreal views of Glasgow. The shower was amazing. The breakfast selection was really tasty. Great desk set up to work from the hotel room.

You don't get the chance to interact with the staff, which didn't impact my stay at all but did make check-in a little more faff than a standard hotel. Helpful instructions all the same - hard to go wrong! The option for a hot breakfast would have been a nice addition.
