Staff are super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Sharon for making sure my whole family (4 rooms) had a comfortable stay. The location was excellent....walking distance to a shopping area and many restaurants The restaurant on site was closed for 2 of our days but we ate there one night and the food was really good. A night club next to the parking lot. We checked it out and had a blast!

Nothing really. I'd highly recommend it.. Just had 2 situations. A man who had been working at the front desk over night pounded on my parents' door at 3am claiming he could hear their TV in reception. I don't know how that was possible when the volume is set to a certain level but the door banging woke me up in the room next door. Needless to say my parents who are in their 80s were completely unnerved! Unacceptable! I realized after I'd checked out and left Coatbridge that I'd left my jacket in the room. I'd purchased it for $110 (£88) just 3 weeks ago in preparation to my trip to Scotland. I called the hotel and my sister who was still at the hotel also inquired. It hasn't turned up so I'm not too happy about that.

Staff were really nice, pleasant and very helpful... excellent check in. Room was lovely, very cosy and had everything you could need. Shower was amazing and loved the shower gel. Comfy, very large bed, coffee machine and Tunnocks caramel wafer a nice touch. Heater in room was just a bonus it worked so well and easy to control. Car park just outside entrance.

My wife was ok she slept like a log, me not so the pillows far too large and hard....my only complaint so next time I will take my own pillow....I am fussy though ..

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, bed was super comfortable. Tv worked perfectly with Netflix and prime. Shower had hot water and good water pressure. Nice big windows that open fully. Extra pillows and towels in wardrobe. Extra toilet paper in press. Tea coffee and biscuits provided in room. Room was quiet I didn’t hear much even though I was on the main road. Can’t really fault anything personally. I felt safe as I was a solo female traveler. So this was good. There is a car park on site. There is lots of shops/pubs in walking distance. And you’re close by to other attractions if you drive. Overall my trip was a success and would definitely visit again.

Nobody came to my room in the 3 days I was there, however I seen them on the floor so I’m sure if I asked they would have came (I didn’t need anything so i was ok) however I know some people like fresh towels and bedding daily so this may have been a problem for some. The lift was broken and I was on the third floor. I’m young so it didn’t bother me however again for older guests or people with lots of luggage or people with disabilities this may have been a major problem. It was a pity breakfast wasn’t included in the price when booking on booking.com as it was not cheap. There is no lobby so if you arrive early or check out early and aren’t ready to go yet you don’t have anywhere to wait.

I booked this hotel because prices in Edinburgh were more than I was willing to pay and figured I could just drive there for the day. I was very pleasantly surprised. I found the room comfortable, fairly well equipped and got a decent nights sleep. The shower was good. The WiFi was good and the phone signal is very good there as well. The local area the hotel is in seems like its a little run down but I felt safe going to McDonalds or Tescos which are 10 minutes walk away. The hotel has a car park and the cars seemed fairly safe there. It has a surprisingly pleasant restaurant as well. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

The room was lovely, huge bed, decent coffee and gorgeous aesthetically, also many lighting options which makes it feel sumptuous. The bathroom was large, lovely large walk in shower room felt opulent. It was surprisingly quiet given that it is next to a busy road - I didn't hear any traffic at all. The staff were lovely. The parking is easy - such a plus.

For my tastes the bed was too hard and the pillows sort of disappeared to nothing so also not too comfy, a couple of large bed spread pillows had small stains which is yucky. Apart from that I loved the room - for improvements I'd request shower caps of some sort because the over head rain shower, while nice, is not great if you want to wash without getting you r hair wet - or add a smaller adjustable shower head - super important if I had been on business.

Wee bit tricky finding the car park but that’s the only downside. Toni on reception was super helpful and very cheerful. Room was easy to access with a case using the lift. Room was as described and had a very comfortable bed. Bathroom was lovely and modern with a great shower. Very clean throughout and had a great nights sleep. Will def stay here again when next in the area.

Apart from finding our way to the carpark- absolutely nothing.

Location was great and minimal fuss. All facilities were spot on. The highlight though was the staff, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. They were all really lovely and helpful. They were really excellent.

The room was a wee bit on the small side but was really well set up with a great shower and super wee extras like biscuits, coffee machine and water. So this is in no way a complaint.

Went with my husband for a work trip, he was working and I was just chilling. We arrived pretty late and met a lovely warm lady who was filled with smiles and happy to help. Asked for additional tea bags and biscuit the next day and I was given enough to last for the rest of our stay, got fresh towers too on demand as well. Didn't have breakfast however, the dinner was lovely.

My room door didn't have the peep hole to see through before you open the door.

I stayed at the Mondo Hotel for work commitment, the staff were very helpful when booking and during my week stay and and also very pleasant, the room was a great size with great comfort, I didn't manage to have breakfast as I was up early every morning before service and didn't arrive back till late, but I did manage to have lunch and an evening meal on one of the days and it was perfect. The Wi-Fi was great as I needed this for work and had an excellent connection. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and when next in the area I would gladly book again.

As well as an excellent little hotel the Restaurant was really nice, the staff were pleasant and helpful and the food was lovely

The rooms could have done with being a bit bigger but I don't there is much you can do about that. I preferred the table and chairs to having the space though
