Location was very convenient for the SEC. There's a taxi rank, bus stop and train station nearby. The room was very comfortable with an amazing shower, and the temperature control was efficient and easy to use. There's a fridge and a room safe. Also a proper wardrobe with enough hangers The staff were all very pleasant and approachable. The room I had had a lovely view over the river and a feeling of space which was very welcome after a busy day at the SEC
trivial things - cups stylish but too small for a decent cup of tea and only 2 teabags. One of the milk cartons was curdled, there's nowhere sensible to plug the kettle in.

The room was great with a comfortable large bed and a great sized TV. The view was FANTASTIC of the Hydro and river. The bathroom was clean and really nice with a wonderful walk in shower and the addition of the shower toiletries was great too. The AC worked brilliantly. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty great, I enjoyed it. The bar on the top floor was absolutely fantastic. The location was spot on for the event we went to in the Hydro. I really loved this hotel
Some of the light switches in the bedroom didnt work. The light over the table handing from the ceiling was a bit low and me and my bf hit our heads on it a fair few times which was quite funny but a little inconvenient. The room was not soundproof as stated.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was also spacious and felt luxurious. Small touches were a real benefit such as the sewing kit and vanity pack. The bed was very comfy, and there was no traffic noise in the morning. Breakfast was very tasty, and there was plenty of food, and the hotel was in a great location.
We were at the Sky Bar in the evening - which was wonderful, and the staff there were excellent. However upon asking at reception if there was a vending machine or somewhere we could get water or snacks for the room, we were just given a 'no'. We had to venture outside and try and find somewhere ourselves.

Booked an overnight stay with my gran for her birthday and the staff couldn’t be any more friendlier. We arrived and got checked in by a lovely cheerful female who gave us a ticket for 2 free drinks for my grans birthday. We then got to our room which was looking right onto the hydro and the water front, there was also a card left which said happy birthday on it too. The room was beautiful and immaculate which made our stay so much better and easier. We went downstairs for a bite to eat and some drinks and the waiters/waitress were also lovely which great service. The next morning we went down to the breakfast and got seated right away, the staff that were working that morning couldn’t be any more helpful with getting us fresh cutlery, plates and bowls and fresh made food and beverages. Our stay was amazing and we will definitely be booking again :)
Everything was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing

We stayed because we had tickets for a concert. The hotel was fantastic. Its location is perfect for the venues at Finnieston. We had a super-efficient check-in. The nicely-decorated room was outstanding with stunning views, ample space and a superb shower room. The bed was really spacious and fantastically comfortable. Had a great night’s sleep. We appreciated the coffee machine. The room had no external noise that we noticed. We had a very good breakfast indeed. Very highly recommended.
Rooftop bar experience was miserable, with staff doing everything they could not to serve us.

It's a fun and quirky hotel with cool decor. The room was an excellent size for a standard room, and the bed was also big and very comfortable. The air conditioning was really good and responsive—often, hotel rooms can be too hot! The staff were all really friendly at the reception, restaurant, and bar. Despite not booking a table in the Sky Bar, one of the staff found us one, and we were able to stay there until the people who had reserved it arrived. The car park is convenient and reasonably priced for overnight in Glasgow and close to the motorway so easy to arrive and leave without having to drive through the city centre.
Breakfast in the hotel was nice but quite expensive. We added it at the last minute, so maybe we could've got a better deal if we'd booked in advance. We weren't sure of our plans, but if we stayed again, we would book a table at the Sky Bar—it might be good if hotel guests had preference here or if a suggestion to make a reservation happened at the point of booking as it turned out to be really busy.

The room was spacious, and clean. The bed was huge which let us lay and play with our 9 week old baby, and would allow us to bring our 5 year old next time. The room was out of the way which meant we didn’t feel bad at the little one crying during feeding time through the night. Staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the Frank Quitely artwork, as did my wee boy.
Wasn’t keen on having to pay for parking but that’s perhaps out of the hotels hands. I would have liked to be able to plug my own device into the tv because like every other hotel we’ve been in in recent years the casting to the tv from phone doesn’t work properly and so we were relegated to watching the free channels which wasn’t a great experience. The HDMi ports for the hotel tvs are inaccessible and it would be much better if there was the facility to plug our own device in, especially given that it’s an option on the hotel tv portal.

The staff were very friendly and the shared areas were well designed. The rooftop bar was an amazing surprise, brilliant views over the quayside. It also had a DJ and was super vibey. The rooms were large, very clean and bed was very large - American style size. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The parking is a little on the expensive side as a hotel guest and while the hotel is great, it wasn't the most cost effective when I booked it (limited availability in the city / late last minute booking). Breakfast wasn't included, and again, on the pricier side. As you aren't situated amongst the restaurants in the city centre, you may opt to eat here for convenience but it isn't the cheapest. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on quality / value of food.

It was really close to the Ovo arena which was great for us. The staff were brilliant and the room was nice, plenty of space and a big bed. Breakfast was good.
We got back to the hotel late (23.30) and there was no room service option and nothing we could see close by to get food so ended up having to order in which took over an hour and a half. Also we had parking in the arena carpark which we should have had a discount, our ticket was taken at the hotel and I think the man on the reception said it should be £15 but when we came to pay at the carpark it was £24. I didn't go back to the hotel to ask about this as we needed to set off home so we just paid.

Dylan on reception was a joy on check in and check out, gave us all the information we needed and asked my son how he enjoyed his stay. He also told us about the pizza delivery to our room from the hotel kitchen and my son took full advantage of that! The pizzas were fresh and he loved his vegan pizza. The housekeeping staff were also lovely and sorted our room out quickly. View is amazing, this was our second visit and we always seem to opt for a river view. This time we had a view of the river and the Hydro which looks great at night lit up. This has become my sons favourite hotel thanks to the Frank Quietly designs in the rooms (comic book fans here) and I love that the room has a coffee machine and complimentary capsules for a decent cup in the morning!
