Location was perfect as we attended a wedding here. The staff here make it exceptional, especially Lorraine. She went the extra mile to ensure we had a good stay. She gave up her time to talk yo us about the hotel, give us a little tour and was very kind. The food in the restaurant was top class and the selection of cocktails was super. Robin serving us was patient, professional and lovely to deal with. The garden is a secret gem and is so well maintained.

The room was smaller than expected, but the quality and use of space was designed well.

The bed was very comfortable and the facilities in the room were satisfactory. I had a nice dinner in the hotel with my cousin and the staff did not try to rush us. There was a good selection of hot and cold items on the breakfast buffet.

The size of the room was fine for me as I was solo but I wonder how a couple would have coped. The bathroom door only closed half way across and was the same door as that of the wardrobe (it was also very heavy). The room doors were heavy too and I was woken about three in the morning by my neighbours door slamming. It would have been nice to have warmer plates for the hot breakfast buffet.

We chose a hotel in the suburbs in order to visit Glasgow city centre, so were happy with the 5-minute walk to Williamwood station. Enjoyed a modern and clean hotel with an excellent restaurant. Breakfast and dinner were very good and we would gladly return in the future. Of four hotels on our Scottish tour this was the best value for money.

The room was slightly small so difficult to stow suitcases for two and find space for the many cushions provided on the bed. A minor criticism in an otherwise excellent hotel.

Poor bedside reading light in room. Breakfast could have had more fresh fruit, yoghurt & muesli. Single mattresses to make big double - one was a bit soft & the gap was uncomfortable. Quite expensive overall.

The hotel was lovely, great facilities and in a great location. The room was a good sized double room, the room was lovely and clean too. The breakfast had a good selection and all of it tasted good. The staff were all friendly and particularly the lady who was looking after us at breakfast, took our hot food order etc. She was polite and friendly.

There was some noise from a function, it didn't impact the stay too much. I was kept awake a little by it, although thankfully my son slept through it. It would possibly put me off booking here again due to the rooms being just up one floor I understand the noise is unavoidable.

When we arrrived, the room was a double and it needed to be a twin. Reception gave us an additional room for the night, so they could change the room the next day to a twin for the remaining 3 days of our stay.

The bar closing at 10.15 to 10.30 Monday to Thursday!!! Unbelievable. Not good enough for a hotel if this standard. At least stay open til 11, if not later for residents.

The location was good for us visiting with family. The hotel was bright and clean and there was a pleasant smell in the corridors, good use of diffusers.

Disappointed that there was no lift. Difficulty with stairs due to recent knee surgery. I was not aware there was no lift when I booked.

the food was amazing and the staff were so accommodating with every aspect of my stay. special shout out to Robyn, and Sam who were on in the evening.

change the sourdough bread to a seeded bread on the breakfast. This is only a personal option though and not reflective of the food quality which was outstanding, both evening and morning.

The room was small but very well set up. You had everything you needed, and the bathroom was lovely. The staff was friendly and attentive, and it really is a very lovely wee hotel in an excellent location. It is all recently done up and feels quite special due to this.

Struggling through two sets of doors loaded with luggage when leaving and arriving was difficult - electric doors would make so much more sense as there was no one to help by opening them for you. The plugs by the bed are awkward to access, and everything is so dark it is hard to locate and use them. They really should be higher up and easily accessible. Breakfast was much better on day one than on day two. On day two, there were no warmed plates, so food got cold quickly, and no one could offer us fried eggs instead of scrambled eggs from the buffet. It would have been perfect if day two had been like day one, as the food was high quality.

Lovely hotel outside of Glasgow, I picked this due to the reviews 😊 excellent rail links into the city centre, very cheap way to travel. We didn't have dinner as we were going to be late and there was no availability but we had breakfast which was well presented, fresh melon, blackberries, grapefruit pomegranate and passion fruit so something a bit different from the usual. Pastries and cold meats and cheese. Varied hot fresh cooked breakfast top. Excellent. Lovely staff and beautifully decorated.

Nothing not to like, everything very good.
