Room 4 was v good, I had that room and v good, loved the toiletries, view of roofs, spacious, and v enjoyable to be in. Room 12 was v good, bathroom excellent, no issues. Breakfast was v good, cooked food was especially good. Black pudding sausage roll excellent, roasted nuts and granola was v good as was the compote. Welcome drink was a nice touch, as is the parking voucher. Residents lounge excellent, lovely addition and we really enjoyed the space. Really like the refreshed drinks menu, including the Norfolk fizz. Lovely staff who were helpful and welcoming.

Room 5 had some issues, which were valid. In hindsight on arrival and with a strange smell we should have tried to change that room that would have been a better outcome. I do think if you are offering a room with no view (false windows) this should be highlighted (I don't think it was) and I wouldn't have chosen that. Dinner was OK. 2 of us had curry, accompaniments were good, curry itself was just a bit underwhelming and didn't feel like it was homemade.

The property is full of quirks and charm. A beautifully kept building that couldn’t be in a better position in Holt. The staff are wonderful respectful and friendly and they couldn’t do more for you. The breakfast is a real treat and worth every penny, delicious. We had one evening meal as we made the most of other fabulous restaurants in the surrounding areas.

We were in room 4 and it was a shame we couldn’t open any windows to allow fresh air in. The roof light windows should really be opening windows without the secondary glazing over!

Very pleasant room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Good location in centre of Holt. Lovely restaurant onsite, food was great. Very friendly, helpful staff.

The restaurant gets very busy in the morning as it offers a popular brunch. Tables are reserved for residents but don't expect a swift breakfast if you want any cooked food. The car park at Byfords is very small, we ended up using the permit for the public carpark, which is not far at all but might not suit everyone.

The family room is spacious with 2 separate bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable with good linen. There were extra little touches in the room to make the stay special, such as, fresh white lillies in the bathroom and a high quality hot drinks selection. The breakfast was simply the best B&B breakfast that any of us have experienced. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and made our stay exceptional.

Car parking situation is not ideal when paying so much money to then be told we'd need to pay to park in a public car park down the road. Doesn't exactly scream luxury or value for money! Service was a little slow at evening meal but not awful. Room could have been cleaner (bug in bath, hair shavings on bathroom floor)

The hotel was lovely and very clean, the staff were excellent, the location is very good

Ordered my evening meal from starter too dessert and once we had finished our main meal we we waited 40mins to get our dessert which still didn't come so we asked the waitress about it and she said would i like to see the menu, to which I told her we've ordered it at the start off you taken my order. Not very good but that was the only downfall to a very lovely weekend.

The room was absolutely incredible. So, so beautiful, clean and I just loved the shortbread, teas, coffees etc. (sounds silly but they were really amazing!) the bathroom was a real highlight. I could have stayed in that bath forever! As a get away as newly weds/for my birthday, this was perfect! Offered Buck’s Fizz with breakfast and given some cake and a drink too, such a lovely touch. We felt really special and spoilt and the staff were so friendly. Thank you!

Location of the property, its quirkiness. Staff were all exceptionally polite and helpful. Breakfast was superb, plenty of choice. We had 3 evening meals there, I asked if I could change steak for chicken in one of the choices and it was no problem at all. We were offered cakes for our journey home on on our last day. Room was large, comfortable, light and airy. We were made to feel welcome and special the whole time.

Maybe a better hairdryer in the room, it was a travel one and was rather temperamental. Also parking is a lottery, the car park does not have enough spaces for all guests, there are options on the side of road for limited periods and a pay and display half a mile or so away, I think they are trying to secure more spaces in the old barclays bank site next door.

I like the feel over the building, was very interesting slight higldy pigldy but we liked that. The room was cosy but made the most of the space, the bed was so comfortable really makes a difference! Although a busy places with people using the restaurant all the time, once you closed the door you couldn’t hear any of the it. Also the breakfast was lovely my partner had the cooked breakfast and said nothing was greasy was all really nicely done!

Quirky, everything was so lovely. In particular all of the staff were so amazing rarely you find the full package our two nights stay for my birthday was perfect friendly helpful genuine happy staff. Everything was really clean which is a big must for me. The food was gorgeous. the breakfast were beautiful everything you could wish for.
