The location and swimming pool were the highlights of our stay. Children didn't want to leave the pool. Bare in mind that there's no lifeguard or staff at the pool, so children need to be accompanied at all times. We didn't pay much compared to similar standards in the area. Hotel refreshed with paint, clean bedding, and comfortable beds. We could bring in our own food as their restaurant wasn't working.

Some furniture was a bit outdated and flimsy. In our room, the drawer's front was coming off. No air-conditioning or fan in a room, which was a downside of our stay.. we kept waking up due to heat. It all was on the budget, though, so our expectations weren't high.. we enjoyed our stay☺️

The owner is such a kind and caring person. Yes I could list tons of things that I would normally ask / improve in hotel but this hotel was the cheapest on booking.com and comes with swimming pool, so instead I'm going to list things I was pleasantly surprised with. The owner is very, very accommodating, nothing is too much too ask. He regularly asks if everything is ok. My room was spacious, simple but comfortable. There was everything that hotel room should have including dressing table. Bedding was super fresh and clean. There's was a soap bar and shower gel and towels. Kettle and refreshments, tv. Location is absolutely spot on. Swimming pool is being regularly cleaned. Since we spent fair amount of time in the swimming pool we got extra inflatables given by hotel. There's on site carparking. The building feels very safe and secure at night. I personally think it's such a good value for money. My kids loved our short stay and were asking before we even left if we can stay longer or come back next week! Thank you again for great service Michalina

The swimming pool was good and the staff remember allowed me to go swimming to try it out. TV was good signal for GB news and had radio as well as tv channels. Comfy bed and fortunately it was only one flight of stairs. Lovely place to stay hooding to return next month. Lovely lounge area. Warm in the room. Shower was lovely and warm too.

Shame I couldn’t have gone swimming another day as the door was locked but not a major concern as it might have been locked for security. Tight squeeze to the bathroom but I managed it just. Nice cup of tea n coffee. Could have had a spoon. But I could have asked for one but not a major concern. There wasn’t a lift in the building which could be something considered.

Lovely hotel not far from beach, clean well kept swimming pool outside, clean hotel and staff helpful and friendly.Does have a bar and dining area but was shut whilst we was there. Kettle, tea/coffee etc fresh towels

Was given room 20 double room and as we went in a nasty smell hit us....bathroom floor was drenched from shower which staff member cleaned up with towels then all was OK.With getting ready for bed cleaning teeth I noticed that both taps were hot. When awoke in morning we both struggled to breath as from the dampness/ smell which I thought would go away with window open, so went to complain at main desk and then the man showed us another 3 rooms to pick from which were lovely. If we had been given one of those rooms 1st time round I would of rated it a 9. Stayed in room 23 which was lovely!

The location is perfect, walking distances to the beach and restaurants. Fabulous swimming pool , rooms are spacious and good price per night

The hotel is outdated and in need of renovation. It would be great to have a fridge in the room. The guests at the hotel are very loud in the evening and dont take into consideration its an old building, as well, they leave rubbish around the pool. The stuff is cleaning, but it would be nice if people were more considering of other guests too.

After an eventful few days of being scammed by another accommodation and being stranded in great yarmouth with 5 children, I came across this hotel. I was sceptical about booking with the cheap rate, but it looked good and had good reviews. We arrived early due to having no where to go. Staff came out and said our room wasn't ready but the pool was free so go and explore. We spent most of the day in the pool, several times staff came out to check everything was OK and said if we needed any thing to call them. In evening the bar was empty and we needed drinks, the gentleman at the counter had no issues getting up several times to cater for us. All In all, if it wasn't for them, our holiday would have been ruined. Would highly recommend, rooms were cosy and clean. We will definitely be booking there again. The flat was absolutely clean , the staff was fantastic I felt at home , the respect , the language was perfect , I guess the staff had that touch of confidence and perfect experience

The toilet brush was not clean , at least we should have a bottle of drinking water or to use when making a cup of tea , yes I have to use water from the washing machine basin , was it safe for drinking , I guess yes , where is signage to show that it’s safe for drinking water

Good distance to the amenities, bars, restaurants, sea. We came earlier so did get parking in the hotel. Swimming pool is the best part of this hotel. Liked their white bedding nice and clean.

A little dated hotel could do with redecoration. Walls so thin could hear everything what neighbours doing. Matress was quite good, but the bed itself was awful - metal and squeaky couldn't even turn without making noise 😒.

The water in the pool was warm, but it's a pity there weren't any additional sun loungers. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

It's a pity there was no small fridge in the rooms, and the water in the shower was so hot it was impossible to bathe. There were no breakfasts available during our stay. Other than that, the price was reasonable for the overall experience, and the location was good.

Nice hotel Staff were really friendly and helpful. Settling down at 9.30pm we noticed no remote control for the tv. Went to enquire they came stright up with one unfortunately the TV was broken. But they brought us another one. Shower had good power and hot and the bed was comfortable. I would stay again hopefully get to use the pool next time

Decor a little shabby but at £40 for the night I am not complaining
