Marine lodge is located right on the beach, just a couple of minutes walk to the pier, high street and amusements. The hotel was quiet and the staff was lovely. Breakfast wasn’t included but we stayed for it and glad we did! Portion size was excellent and the quality was fantastic! It’s a shame we live 2 hours away or we’d be regulars for the breakfast!

The hotel is a little dated, but to be honest that’s part of the charm! Had we known we may have upgraded to a bigger room as it was a little small. But we only stayed for 1 night so it wasn’t really a problem. We stayed in one of the top floor rooms on one of the hottest days, could do with fans or air con but again, it wasn’t bad enough to be a problem

This property was clean and comfortable. The bar was well stocked with views over the beach, and an outside terrace area for smoking. On arrival I was given plenty of information by the friendly receptionist, with further information contained in a folder in the room. All the staff I met were friendly, so overall a good experience.

Breakfast was a little over priced for me so chose to eat elsewhere.

The staff that we met on our stay were all friendly and helpful. The bed was soft and comfortable, with enough full pillows. Fully accessible. Located on the beach front and a short walk from the pier. Would stay here again, and recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in Great Yarmouth!

The property was great shame about another couple causing chaos and waking us up at stupid o’clock screaming and shouting obscenities and swearing at other people staying here police should have been called a lot earlier than they were

LOVELY VIEW STAFF EXCELLENT VERY INFORMED POLITE AND WILLING TO HELP LOCATION WAS PERFECT AS TO ACCESSING LOCAL AMINITIES WE DIDNT ORDER BREAKFAST BUT IT SMELT AMAZING. WAS OVER ALL VERY CLEAN (APART FROM A COUPLE OF THING) WOULD DEFINATELY STAY AGAIN.

ONLY FAULT WAS ON A TINY BIT OF HOUSE KEEPING THE TEA TRAY WAS A LITTLE DUSTY AND WE HAD TO WASH THE CUPS AND SPOONS BEFORE USE DUE TO QUITE A BIT OF DUST THE SAME WITH THE TV REMOTE THAT WAS REALLY QUITE DUSTY ALSO THE WINDOWS HAD BIRD MUCK ON THEM BUT THIS WASNT ANYTHING THAT WOULD PREVENT US STAYING AGAIN

Functional clean hotel in good place on the sea front. Good choice of breakfasts which are charged on top of the price of the hotel, expertly cooked. Really comfortable beds in clean white bed linen. Town, amusements and cinema all in a couple of minutes walking.

Would have liked a comfy lounge with armchairs to relax and read papers but only had a bar to sit in. TV in room had very poor reception which dropped out when bathroom door opened.

Location was perfect parking included. The view was stunning and the staff were all lovely.

Nothing, not to like... could of done with a fridge but I'm being fussy.

Lovely, friendly and attentive staff. Couldn't have been more helpful. Place spotless. My single room upgraded to a small double, so very good value for money. Hotel very conveniently situated along the seafront. As I'm disabled parking onsite particularly helpful. Super salmon and scrambled egg breakfast. Food and coffee plentiful. Superb view of sea from dining room. Although I didn't use this having a bar, again overlooking the sea, is a real bonus during the day as well as in the evening.

As this is an old building there is some noise from creaking floorboards above if you are on a lower floor. There is a lift if an upper floor is required and stairs are a problem.

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Lovely room. Super comfy bed and great bathroom. Will definitely come again if we visit Great Yarmouth again. Thank you all.

The only negative was the 2 seater sofa in the bay window, as you couldn't see the TV from there but no issue.

Instructions for the shower would have been helpful. Bathroom door didn't shut properly Neither of these things were much of an annoyance
