The couple that run it are so lovely, nothing was too much trouble, as soon as we arrived they told us about things we could see and do, there was also a blue book in the room with information aswell. Our room was amazing, the comfort of the bed, the space, the facilities not to mention the bathroom, it was lovely, so big. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit juices, that was even before we got our cooked breakfast, Debbie even remembered everyone's order, was very nice and professional, even during it, checked to see if we had enough toast, tea and coffee. We were so impressed with the value for money that we have already booked to go back in October, there is a scooter rally (which Heath is in to) and our wedding anniversary aswell, so we will have another great weekend 😀 the beach is only a 5 minute walk and the pier and shops about a 10 minute walk, although the weather wasn't great (no one could help that) there was still plenty to see and do. Can't wait to return, looking forward to it already. X x

Cleasewood Guest House is in a fabulous location, it is a very short walk to the beach and a short walk to many attractions including the Hippodrome Circus (which was the main reason for our visit on this occasion). (For any parkrunners out there it's two minutes from the start of the parkrun!) The hosts were fabulous, the rooms were well equipped and cosy. The breakfast was good and customisable which was a bonus. We will absolutely book again, having found this little gem at the last minute after a prior booking let us down, I think this will now be our go to for Great Yarmouth.

Everything about the guest house and our rooms and the facilities provided was excellent. The full English breakfast was as good as it gets. What made our stay perfect was the hosts Arthur and Debbie. We were treated more like friends than paying guests and we were always engaged in conversation at Breakfast time by both Arthur and Debbie. Debbie especially would ask about where we had visited the previous day. My brother and myself thoroughly recommend this guest house if you are looking for a warm and friendly welcome from the minute you arrive till the minute you leave. We will most certainly be looking to book a future stay.

There was absolutely nothing not to dislike about the guest houses or the hospitality we received by the hosts.

Breakfast excellent, cooked to perfection and made to order by Arthur. Debbie and Arthur were so warm and welcoming. Perfect Hosts. The room was spotless and tidied every day. I was unwell on my second day and both Debbie and Arthur were so kind and concerned for my wellbeing. They are a hard working professional couple and it is evident they really care about their guests. Breakfast was served with a smile and a chat about your previous days activities. The location was great and near the beach and hotels. Thank you Debbie and Arthur. You are a credit to your business. Would highly recommend.

It was all good.

This was my second stay at Cleasewood guesthouse and found it very relaxing. The room very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and powerful and the water was lovely and warm. The breakfast choices available were excellent with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, several types of cereals, full English and I especially enjoyed the scrambled egg on toast with smoked salmon. Arthur and Debbie are lovely friendly hosts that add a lot of thoughtful details into making your stay more comfortable like fans and blankets for your room to adjust to changeable weather, There were even scissors to help get into those fiddly sauce sachets in the dining room and tooth picks on the tables. I will definitely be returning again later in the year.

Very clean and well equipped.

Our room was on the top floor, which my wife found difficult to access due to an arthritic knee. In fairness our hosts were not aware of this when we booked.

Arthur & Debbie were the perfect hosts. From opening the front door to the minute we left. The location is excellent. The whole place was spotless, cosy & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious using good quality local produce. Perfect little touches everywhere, like scissors to open your sauce sachets. Just perfect. The bathroom was lovely, we stayed in Room 5. Shower was exceptional. Thankyou Arthur & Debbie, we can't wait to come back xx

The room was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. Our bathroom was excellent, with aids for anybody to access easily, including a hand rail in the shower, accessible shelving, and non-slip mats. Breakfast is made to order for set times so that it is fresh and hot when you wish to get up! Lovely selection of foods, both hot and cold to choose from, as well as a loyalty bar in the evenings. We had a guide in our rooms, which included menus and local attractions, etc. The location itself is just a couple minutes away from the seafront, but far enough away that it is on a quiet street, so no noise at night. Debbie and Arthur were fantastic hosts, and I would definitely recommend The Cleasewood for a stay in Great Yarmouth.

Debbie & Arthur the proprietors made us so welcome, our room was beautiful so large with all facilities required in the room the bathroom was amazing. Both rooms were throughly clean which is very important to us when staying away from home, there is a lovely lounge for residents wirh a choice of books magazines and a TV plus an honesty bar, breakfast was truly delicious with a good choice of beverages cooked to perfection by Arthur and served in a professional manner by Debbie. Cleaswood is on a very nice side road two mins from the beach. I will certainly recommend to friends and family if they go to Great Yarmouth.
