St Anne's was at the north end of Great Yarmouth in a quiet area and my room looked out into Norfolk Square garden. Only 15 minutes walk from the train station and only a few minutes walk from the main town. The beach was just down the road. Bus stops were nearby and I especially loved the Waterways which was about 5 minutes walk away. The room was comfortable and clean and breakfast was excellent everyday - freshly cooked to order. It is not often you get a double bed for single room rates and my bed was also very comfy.

A minor detail - small towel - but such a minor detail - and spare towels were available anyway.

It was clean, set in a great location not far from a lot of things to do, the staff were friendly and even though I have not had breakfast yet I do know they have a great selection from what I've been told and seen on the list given and the price was fair.

The mattress was hard which was not great but overall it was comfortable to stay in and the facilities were great not much they could add to make it better and I can't think of what would make it better I just know that there have been other places with better facilities.

We both liked and enjoyed everything about the hotel The hotel was in the ideal place ,close to all the amenities in Great Yarmouth The hotel room was exceptional with all what we could of wished for,,the bed was great,we both had good night sleep each night of or stay Everything was in walking distance and was very enjoyable to walk around A very friendly couple who run the hotel, were happy to help and we were very settled there during our stay

Hosts were very polite and friendly. I did ask if I could check in earlier and it was no trouble for them doing so. The room was lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable. Drink selection was topped up daily with complimentary biscuits which was a nice touch. Breakfast was superb. Choice of cereals. Fruit juices. And a lovely cooked breakfast. Best one I've had since coming to great yarmouth.

Only thing would be nice in the rooms are fans as it is extremly hot in them rooms during summer. A fan would be lovely. 😀 But that was my only negative but if I would have asked no doubt I would have got one but I never like to cause any problems 😀

Last minute decision for an overnight stay in Gt Yarmouth so that I could be there reasonably early on the Saturday and miss the weekend traffic. This was cheap, cheerful and convenient. The owner was very welcoming and hospitable. Very close to the beach and the pier, convenient parking out the front or across the road. Ideal if you're looking for a reasonable place to stay near the town and beach. I didn't try the breakfast so cannot comment.

The shower struggled due to lack of water pressure.

Easy to find with free parking available outside. Room was clean and bed comfy, especially the memory foam pillows! Fridge, kettle, tea coffee and milk provided free, also towels and shower gel & shampoo: The free cooked breakfast was delicious and a really nice treat as I never cook breakfast when I’m at home! Loved the fact that I could bring my dog at no additional cost and she was made welcome. Linda and Larry are lovely hosts and their little dogs are really sweet too. Met several guests who come back year after year and I can see why! I will be joining the list of returning guests as I had an amazing stay. On the doorstep of all local shops, pubs, arcades too. Can’t fault a single thing! Perfect

Linda and Larry are absolutely amazing couple, so friendly and welcoming, the property is wonderful, location is quite and you get a parking space either out the front or literally over the road, if they can help with anything they will, best place we have ever stayed , so much so we've been here 4 times - it's now our only place to stay, breakfast is amazing and filling and Linda even gave my 6 year old daughter a knitted doll she had made, my daughter was over the moon with it, they are dog friendly and have 3 of their own, so if you don't want to leave your furry friends at home take them with you ( just let them know of course) thank you so much for an amazing 3 days - we can't wait to come back

Coming home

Great location, our room was big and had everything we needed. This price included a cooked breakfast, which was great, hosts were very lovely and let us know about what events were on.

We found the pillows were too hard for us, but it's personal preference. We brought our dog along with us. The owners have dogs that are walking about the reception area, which was slightly stressful as there was a bit of confrontation between the dogs every time we entered or left the building.

Was clean and comfy beds good size and children loved the bucket seats, the breakfast was lovely as was the owners and the lovely doggy that kept my boys happy at breakfast, we were only there for one night visiting family so I couldn't make use of most of the facilities but what we saw seemed good even had sand castle buckets to be borrowed and gave children sweets on leaving

The only real niggle was I kept getting the key stuck ,weren't sure if doing something wrong or not , to be honest I forgot to ask, but would not stop me from staying again . Oh and maybe a hot chocolate sachet for kids along with the tea and coffee , x

Close to town and amenities. Room was very clean and tidy. The hotel was small and compact and offered free parking on the first come basis but there were extra parking spaces across the road. The owners Larry and Linda were a very congenial couple and pulled out all the stops to make us welcome.

No lifts and we were on the second floor. Had to carry luggage upstairs, very tiring after a long drive. The owner Larry did offer help and took one of our suitcase. Our shower and toilet room was too small and the sink was located in the sleeping area which I found strange but quaint.
