The staff were nice and friendly, a relaxed feeling, has very clear fire safety at the property too. And there was a beautiful long park to walk around right across the road. Also highly recommended visiting the Model Village further down the coast, it's a great experience and has a wonderful collection of old fashioned penny machines at the end.

The chairs in the Sea view room were quite low making it hard to see the sea from a seated position, and the bed was against the far wall so you could see the sea if perched in the end. Some slight wear and tear with the room, but overall very clean.

This was such a perfect location, exactly what we needed for a relaxed stay away from home. The manager and staff were so kind and welcoming. I honestly could have hung out and talked with them all night, it felt like home.

From the moment we arrived the owner was nice and bubbly. Made my daughter laugh. Very helpful. It was the football final which we watched in there bar. I had taken our own soft drinks which was fine but i did also buy there's . They had a good selection to drinks too. It was nice in the bar as just for residents so not busy and daughter welcome too. Room was very clean and simple. A little old looking but bedroom was definitely fit for purpose. Bathroom again was very clean, flooring was not sealed at egdes but fit well and was light coloured and clean. Shower was a corner unit. Entrance not the biggest and not the easiest to wash daughters hair, shelve inside shower lose so didn't use but had a shower gel dispence that was full, and water pressure was great. Lovely white clean towels which smelled nice too. Sink was clean with dove hand soap. Had decent loo roll and had spare rolls so you would never run out. Had plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Large kettle 2 cups and spoons. And a hair drier. Hangers, spare pillow and blanket in walldrobe. Easy to book and easy to find.

Limited parking, arrived later and parked in front of another car, they had enough room to get out but not ideal, but free and not on the street so could of been worse. No bath but i did know when booking. Easier with daughter.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location and we’d definitely recommend it. We were met with a warm friendly welcome by Justin. Our room had a wonderful direct view of the sea, just across the road. Crisp fresh bed linen and towels. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, so we slept well. Breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice. Justin and his wingman, Jack, are very polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has its own car park and we could see our car from our room. Great value for money

My room was a single room which was pretty spacious, the bed was comfortable, plenty of storage space if required, a dresser, kettle tea and coffee etc. The shower is powerful enough and certainly hot, a heated towel rail which is always handy. The host is most accommodating and has a very friendly demeaner. Parking is free on the front apron.

Nothing really suited my purpose when working locally. Breakfast was available but I didn't have the time to enjoy with working extended hours.

The hotel was east to find, right on the seafront at the Northern end of the promenade. We were met on arrival by the owner and helped to our room. The room was functional and clean if a little dated in décor. Tea and coffee makings were available so all was good. Parking was available in the small car park to the front of the hotel and it appeared that plenty of parking spaces were available in the surrounding roads. Overall it was a great place to stay as we visited friends in the area.

As I wrote previously, the décor is tired and the owner did apologise in advance for this. It is a work in progress which seems to be going in the right direction.

Justin made me n my daughter (6) feel very welcome , great location and a lovely hotel that has a lot of potential.. host very honest about current renovations and updates happening.. was clean, warm and comfortable extra heater was put into our room before check in.. bed was lovely and comfortable we had a great nights sleep… very secure hotel knowing you can only enter hotel with host permission or keys and fobs.. lovely cooked breakfast ready on time we requested at a very reasonable price.

A little extra attention to cleaning advised, Justin took my comments into account on departure and apologised, it didn’t effect our stay at all still a lovely hotel

Quirky building right on the sea front so you can enjoy a pleasant stroll on the beach. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast was included in the price. They were able to cater to vegans too. We had the family suite so 2 bedrooms a bathroom and a small corridor area. The new owner has big plans for the place so we will be happy to come again and see how it looks.

It would be good to have a small fridge in the suite but the staff were kind enough to let us keep our things in the hotel fridge. The cleaner missed a little bit in the bathroom.

All was fine, there was only a few staying during the to the time of year so we were the only people in the bar but the management & staff would join us so we had some good company, breakfast was very nice, fried bread was not on the menu but they done me some and it was lovely

Breakfast excellent - hotel sourced quality bacon, sausage etc and plenty of it. Plenty of good strength tea ! Justin and Jack jovial at all times. Nothing too much trouble. Bedroom supplied with ample tea, coffee and milk. All very comfortable.

I know what I like and I like what I know. I will return to this hotel when next down from Scotland. Enough said.
