Well, we didn't actually stay at the Belvedere. I received a message to say to go to Carlton Hotel instead as work was being done on the Belvedere. This worked very well for us. It was very close to the pier and beach.

Carlton Hotel needs to supply breakfast.

I liked every moment of my stay at this guest house. Before I booked I took note of the many negative reviews left about this guest house and now I'm assuming you just can't please everyone! There really isn't much negatives to give to be honest but I will give what my eye can see regarding any negatives a little later. I spent 5 days at this guest house from 17 -22 April 2023 and it was perfectly quiet at night time with no hassles from anyone, my room was clean and functional and suited my needs until home time! I didn't hear noise from anyone, not even the staff, the only noise I could hear was when guests were engaging the electronic door console. I went to the coast to have a break from the norm and this room gave me 10/10 so thanks.

It's not a case of want I didn't like but, for the sake of 1st impressions and that does count when it comes to others leaving reviews! Your first impression on entering the main door is a musky smell that hits you straight away, not a problem for me but I'm sure others would of taken note and left it in reviews ( as they have done.) A simple little electronic mister on the wall would eventually hide the musky smell, it's not a lot to ask for is it.

Last minute changes not informed correctly once relocated wonderful stay

The relocation to the carlton was nice

I had no emails no contact at all to say I was relocated very annoyed there was nothing anywhere to say I was relocated although the relocation at the carlton was brilliant

Needed to visit a very good friend at the Hospital and needed to stay nearby transports to James Paget Hospital. Very good location to transports and local shops. Very quiet at night and staff were always available to help and sort out any inconvenience. Loved the nearby beaches, parks and water Garden. Will book and recommend to family and friends.

Parking was not available nearby. Main key was missing in the key safe. Lighting outside by the key safe wasn't available.

Would have preferred a lower floor as we're old

U only get one pillow no hot water and bed was so lumpy and ther was no staf to ask for some more pillows or a different bed so I now have a bad back ache

I arrived and there was issue with room originally booked into that was sorted within 5 minutes of my arrival. Room I was given was more than enough room for what I needed and very comfy

Nothing wrong with it

Location was good, property was clean and good value for money

Some door handles were loose and the shower didn’t work

It was very clean and warm

The shower head holder was broken so I had to hold it while showering, the pillow was too thin, I could fill the springs of the matress on my back, toilet paper holder was broken
